I was shopping and overheard 2 employees bad mouthing Charlie Kirk after he was shot. I interrupted them to say as a customer I should not be hearing this. The woman told me that the other employee A SHE was not talking to me. I said Well HE was talking loud enough for me to hear him. She then told me that SHE was a SHE I looked at the other individual and said NO HE IS A HE, I said he can be whoever he wants to in his world but In my world He's a He. The man had make-up and earings etc. but was clearly a man. She then angerly told me that if I continued this vulgar language, she would have me thrown out the store. I said because I called HIM a HIM you're going to have me thrown out the store? I went and told this to the night manager, and got the corporate phone number. I followed up the next day and in the 3 weeks since I tried 3 times calling Corporate and asked for someone from Publix contact me regarding this treatment of a 10 year customer. Each time I was told someone will follow up with you I now see how Publix employees are because the management doesn't even feel it necessary to take a few minutes to call what was a good customer. It's literally 1/4 mile from my home. I will now take my business to Walmart a few miles away, It's clear Publix and it's employees and more importantly the management and upper management feel it is OK for it's employees to demean a man shot in the neck in front of his kids is OK to talk about in isle 5 during open hours. I guess upper management also feels it's OK for employees to threaten a customer for calling a MAN a HE Publix lost a good customer I'm sure they wont miss my 100 bucks a week but hopefully others see this and decide too that this nonsense is not where we want to shop
I had to send a foodstuff to the quality control division due to it being expired, not pulled off the shelves at my local Publix and ingesting it making me sick. I had not seen that it was expired and left on the shelf to sell. I dealt with Brianna in that department and she lacks customer service skills, is rude and robotic. I was told by the manager that Publix would identify the issue that made me sick. Brianna told me that was not true and the manager lied. She told me I will have to go to Publix again to pick up bar from the local store after headquarters sends it back to the local store. I asked for it to be sent to me as it is inconvenient for me to have to go again for their mistake in the first place. She became sarcastic, condescending and disconnected our call on purpose. Brianna is NOT an asset to Publix and needs to go. Poor form Publix to hire a lowest common denominator like Brianna.
Tried to order a cake. He said it didn't come in that size (when I ordered 1 for Christmas.Picked it up on x-mas eve). I told him to just write up the order for me and the bakers will do it tomorrow. He hung up on me. I never yelled or cussed or was rude. Shocked me. Went up there and got store manager. The young man lied and said he did it b/c I was rude. That's a lie. Will be taking my business elsewhere for cakes.
Publix IS the worst place to shop, they are the most expensive grocery chain and when they put something all sale it's not really a sale at all at the moment they have prime rib on a so call sale but they refuse to cut it the way I want it I would have to buy the most expensive ribeye steaks to get what I want... that's BS
It seems publix has a problem with service dogs. I have started shopping at Walmart or Winn Dixie, where shopping is Pleasure!. I have no proof of purchase as I did not buy anything, I was told my dog was not a service dog. I was told to leave as my dog was not a service dog,5
I was going to Mebane NC and needed to take food for a gathering. I spent $102.01 on various prepared foods from Publix. NOTHING was good at all. NOT 1 thing was good which surprised me since I'd bought chicken there before. Also, at self check out their monitor rebooted as I was making transaction and wouldn't give receipt, which i had to wait 5 minutes for and the lady at the check out could have been nicer, especially under the circumstances. Will NEVER buy publix prepared foods again. E.Lorrayne Clark
I was hoping to try one of these ginger beers at the Madison Yards Publix off of Glenwood and Memorial in Atlanta, but these ants beat me to it.
Customer service needs to not say out loud about how stupid an elderly person is. Some elderly people suffer stroke damage or other brain affects. I had that experience and I can't bring myself to ever go shopping there again.
Today's trip to the store left me with an unpleasant feeling. The manager Olivia didn't want to use my coupons even though they were real and I got them from the factory. She took me out of the line in front of everyone and made me wait near the counter. In front of me, she served several customers who came up without a queue. The store also cheated a woman out of more than $10 and she came to investigate. At first, the manager dealt with those who simply approached. It was hard for me to wait, I was after a medical operation, but she was taking care of other clients. I don't want to use this store anymore. The cashier was polite and friendly. The manager acted arrogantly and I felt humiliated. The chicken I bought was dried out and overcooked. Smell of old oil. I don't recommend it.
This was found in the potato wedges at publix. Midtown Atlanta and they are telling me it's a chicken wing. I smell a lawsuit
Publix gets a general low grade in our experience because the store continues to ratchet up prices despite national reports that inflation is generally coming down. A specific example is our grocery shopping experience this morning. The store had moved its aspirin offerings out of the medication/personal care aisle to a special shelf by the pharmacy hyping the same aspirin we bought previously as an arthritic pain reliever -- as if this makes it okay to charge $23 for a product that costs pennies to make. Of course people use aspirin to ease minor arthritis pain, and also period cramps, occasional headaches and colds. How cynical and outright cruel of Publix to make people through the nose for pain relief. Publix may tell us that the price hike is not their fault, that "distribution" is the problem. We don't buy it nor should you.
This store needs ran out of town by Aldi! 6.99 for flipping pop cycles 🤬
2 Lt soda about 4.00 each
Tried to compare prices with Amazon to know if it was worth the trip but Publix won't show the price online! It's for a product you can add to your list but not your cart. Even when you select the exact store, it won't show you the cost. Target, Kroger and Walmart all show the cost on their websites. Seems very fishy to me.
The Publix store in North Miami at 6th avenue is one of the worst in customer service always short of staff, extremely poor service
I went to publix on December 23nd and I got a prime Rib which I paid for 11 pounds when I got home I checked the weight because didn't look right to me and it was 8 pounds they cheated me 3 pounds I went back and they weighted and sure enough it was 8 pounds they just give me my money back and they said they didn't have anymore I spent time going back and forth a d beside that I had to go out my way to another publix to get it. That was publix at Immokalee and Collier Pebblebrook.
Overall Publix is I think a very good grocery store? But they are extraordmerrily overpriced compared to the competition and as I said. They have the most disgusting store, brandon and cheese i've ever eaten! Shows how cheap they are.
Went to deli first time in store. Not helpful at all in the deli ordered turkey and cheese she gave me my turkey but not the cheese when I asked her u forgot my cheese she ignored me and went to the nxt person so i had to wait again.would never shop in there again.and there very expensive but the deli people have issues..
Stay away from Publix in Hermitage if you need to stop at the deli. Sloooooow service. I was the only one at the counter on saturday, with one lady behind the counter cleaning. She was supposed to get someone to help me. I just left. Today there was only one other customer. But the worker had to disappear to ask someone which one was priscutti. Why not just ask the customer. Again I just gave up & left. Stay away.
Overpriced and service has declined
Deli and bakery items are prepackaged crap
Definitely not the good store they used to be
I had an amazing experience at Publix Pharmacy in Brandon Fl.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Jennifer when I had to call the pharmacy looking for information about a Rx that was supposed to be called in for me. Unfortunately the prescription had not been called in at that time. But she was extremely helpful and updated all my info and even told me that she would send me a notification on my phone as soon as the Rx was sent to be filled. I unfortunately had left my phone at home when I was out running errands later this day and was by the store and decided to stop in. At the pharmacy i spoke with Tarah, who was super nice and had let me know that they had received my Rx but said the the Rx was not yet filled. She told me that they could have it filled in 30 mins. But I explained to her that there was in no rush to have it filled and was ok with coming back later to pick it up. I was told that the perception would be ready by 2pm. When I returned home I saw that Jennifer had in fact sent me a text message letting me know when my Rx would be ready. Around 3pm I had went back to get my Rx where I was again met with such amazing customer service. I had planned to pay with cash but couldn't find the money that I had place in my pocket. Thinking I left it at home, I paid with my card. I got back home and realized that the money was no where to be found. Upset about the situation, I was accepting my loss. When my cell rang and it was Tarah letting me know that I had dropped the money in front of the counter and that they would have it for me to come pick up. When returning to the pharmacy for the third time that day, these 2 wonderful women were so gracious and friendly. Jennifer let me know that she found the money and realized that it was mine. I have never seen such a level of compassion and willingness to be helpful from a pharmacy team. These 2 women had such an impact on my day and my peace of mind. Thank you so much Jennifer and Tarah. As a healthcare worker myself, I am so happy to see the compassion from a different side of the spectrum and can not thank you two enough for your amazing service. God bless you ladies. Publix is so lucky to have such incredible women working for them!
