I have been desperately looking for prescription dog food... and Pet Flow was the only retailer that had my specific brand in stock. Therefore, excited to try out a new supplier, I ordered food and treats for my cat, as well. Since, my dog's food required a prescription, Pet Flow sent the request to our vet. However, they claimed the food was for my cat... not my dog, so the clinic denied the ordered. I called them immediately, upon realizing the error, and explained the reasoning. After verifying my dog's name, breed, age, etc, PetFlow resent a request to validate her prescription. Once again, it was denied. The clinic called to say that they would not approve a special diet dog food for our cat. So, my order has been denied twice, because no one at the company can figure out hat dog food is for a dog... not a cat. I am so disappointed and would much rather wait for a quality pet company to restock their supply, than make a third attempt to order from PetFlow. I truly wish it could have been more productive.
They are low class organization that lies and advertises products as available that they dont have in stock. I ordered 2 cases of Hills prescription HD Heart care formula for my Greyhpund who desperately needs it and after a day of BS from a Matt in customer service I come to find put today that they dont even have the product ad it is on back order. I know it was on back order everywhere but because they advertised that they had it I placed an order for 2 cases. Yesterday Matt nor another girl never mentioned that to me yesterday. They only told me they were waiting for authorization from my Vet to fill the order. They tied up my $ 86.00 pe dinged on my acct plus I don't get the food for my poor Greyhpund who is in heart failure. This company has no morals no care over pets & falsely advertising products they do not have in stock. Total unacceptable practice.
We have used petflow for years now, and lived in two different places and never had a problem with delivery. Your dog food delivery dates are up to you, and as I stated before the food is always delived as scheduled and in good shape.
If you place an order for auto ship and want to cancel it you will have to call them and or do an online chat. They don't allow you do. Cancel online on your own. I should have chosen the online chat because the customer service rep was very rude. If I want to cancel an auto ship program, I should have to without explaining why. So of course when I questioned, why I had to give a reason in order to cancel and felt that I shouldn't, the rep proceeded to be very rude and talked over me. So she was basically not going to cancel this program because I felt them questioning n=me was infringing on my rights to cancel. AKA, I don't have to explain why I desire to cancel. So, I said I could talk to the corporate center and told her she was $#*!ing rude and so she responded by hanging up on me and also did not cancel this auto ship order. So I then went online to get it canceled. Poor customer service.
#******* pet flow collected the money and won't ship the dog food. Customer service is unreachable and a scam. Avoid petflow like it was chewy dot com with covid 19. Will have to go to the credit card company and dispute the charge

Their website has no online chat tool. You have to text them. I updated my autoship date for my pet's prescription dog food and it did not update. So I went several days having to use a different dog food. I did text them to inquire about the change and they immediately responded that they would look into it, but then never got back to me. This was the 2nd time I had issues with poor customer service. Too hard to make changes to your autoship program. I am now set up with a different vendor who sells at a lower price. Total savings is $12/month. Petflow did offer me a 3.5% discount on future autoships - but only after I called to cancel my program. Couldn't do that online either. Nor could the prescription be uploaded when ordering.
I really didn't feel comfortable buying online. But Petflow has been a game changer. My Cheeto needs a special diet, most big box stores and the Pet owners, Petsmart don't deal in high quality Dog food the nearest store to me is a Town away. So with the cost being a few bucks less than the boutique pet store that carries high end food. And the fact it comes straight to my door is a win win here. And if there is any problem or dissatisfaction of your order they are quick to fix any issue. I 100% recommend Petflow for you oets needs.
Petflow is unresponsive and difficult to reach. Additionally their website requires that you speak with a live person to make changes. It is very frustrating to deal with them.
Never received my food and terrible customer service. Use Chewy and have a pleasant purchasing experience!
I ordered dog foo and was told the shipment would arrive in 2 to 3 days because it was coming from a different location, after 4 days I called them and told them I was leaving town and if the shipment arrived over the week end no one would be home and the food would sit in 100 degree weather. I called and spoke to Brea who said she would stop the shipment and call me back and neither one of the things she said happened now I have dog food sitting in 100 degree weather and they cant pick it up until Tuesday. In the meantime the food is rotting in my front yard. This place can care less about your dogs need and at the rate they are going and based on the very poor reviews I doubt if they will be in business much longer.
I ordered prescription food for my cat seven days ago. The vet sent the prescription via email. I called the next day to check whether they had received it and they said no. The vet sent it again. I called to confirm and then was told they don't accept emails, just faxes. I asked for the fax number and called the vet. The vet faxed the prescription. Called today to see whether they got it and was told they cannot check it, it has to be confirmed by the pharmacy. Asked for the pharmacy number and called. Waited 10 minutes to speak to a very rude person who told me they can not help because I ordered with Petflow. Called Petflow again and a very apathic and unhelpful person told me there is nothing they can do and that they would have to wait for the pharmacy to tell them whether they got the prescription. Meanwhile my very thin cat is eating very little because he only likes this food. Cancelled the order and wil try another place. DON'T BOTHER WITH PETFLOW!
Don't order from pet flow. I placed a order on Saturday. They never shipped out my order! This is the worst place that I ever order from in my life! What a scam! Customer service is terrible when I called about my order. They said that they are waiting from confirmation from my veterinarian. They never even tried to contact my veterinarian. I ordered from chewy and they got confirmation from my veterinarian the same day for the same cat food and shipped it out that very same day. I would have ordered from chewy however they are temporary out of the cat food for a week now. And because I ordered from PetFlow my cat will have NO food now. So thanks for your terrible service!
They've always been very kind, knowledgeable and patient. I received a credit on a product that didn't agree with my dog. I guess the other reviews are regarding prescriptions. I only order food and accessories from them.
I never write reviews but didn't want anyone to go thru what I did with this company, dont order prescription anything from this company! They DO NOT care about your pet at all... I placed my order and left enough time for delivery before my pup ran out of her food that she has to have, she cannot eat anything else without getting sick. Tried to contact company when it never arrived and was told they were unable to make contact with my vet even tho the never left any message and are linked to my vet via computer. Waited a second week with my vet trying to make contact and was finally told they did get thru and script was approved and food would be on way shortly... almost a month later received email stating my order was cancelled due to the fact they didn't even have the food and were not able to get it... I will never deal with this company nor will anyone I know..
I ordered prescription dog food a 2 days ago from this website. When I found out via my vet that they would not authorize it I called petflow and asked them to cancel my order and to give me my money back. One person told me it was canceled and that they never charged me yet money was missing from my account. I called back a couple minutes later spoke with someone else and they gave me a tracking number to an order that was not even mine in the first place I called back the 3rd time and spoke with some else and they told me they canceled it and that my money would be returned in 2 hours and it still hasn't been. I would not recommend this company at all horrible customer service.
Based on an email I received this am from PetFlow advising they had not received prescription approval from my vet, I purchased the product I needed, a new food for my sickly and very fussy kitty, by getting it directly from the vet. The vet did not ever hear from Pet Flow to request the prescription. Less than 2 hours later, I called PetFlow to cancel my order as I now had the food and they refused to cancel, saying it was too late, they had vet approval, even tho' they had just emailed earlier in the day to say they had no approval, and my vet never heard from them. The rep kept talking over me and would not let me get a word in edgewise. I have 4 cats and spend a lot of $$ on their food. PetFlow will never see another order from me after this first and last encounter. Chewy remains the best option of all. They were out of stock so I had to look elsewhere. Won't do that again!
I was a little concerned about ordering from petflow because of some of their reviews however I ordered anyway and have to say I'm glad I did. The service was great and very fast. Everyone Is different and has their own opinions so I suggest you check it out for yourself than decide. I was very happy and will be ordering again. Thank you petflow.
Let me start off by stating that I NEVER write reviews. I made an exception because this vendor is SO BAD that I simply could not remain silent. I only require two things from an online merchant: 1) Say what you mean and 2) Do what you say. PetFlow has now broken those rules twice. I gave them the benefit of doubt when my first order too OVER 9 DAYS to arrive after they posted on their site that it had shipped. Since I never received a shipping confirmation from them the only way I had to check was to call. Bre was beyond rude and gave the impression that she could care less if my pup's food ever arrived. When I made my 2nd order, I inquired about when my order would actually ship and the time in transit because I really wanted to not be surprised if it was delayed. I was told that their shipping department was all "caught up" and thing were now running smoothly. My order would ship the next day and FedEx delivery to my location would be in two days time after shipping. Well, this time I did receive a tracking number the following afternoon, as promised, However my shipment never moved (and evidently was never given to FedEx) for another THREE DAYS! When I called PetFlow on day 2 after receiving my tracking number( I had been promised that my order would arrive BEFORE the Weekend), I was told that FedEx just had not scanned the shipment but it would arrive as promised. Oh and the representative was "really Sorry" but there was nothing that could be done to even attempt to locate my order... So sorry she actually hung up on me before our conversation was finished! Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. There will not be a third time for these losers! I just wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. Their site is a total replica of Chewy.com but IMHO the folks at PetFlow could not hold Chewy.com's coat. Buyer BEWARE!
Not only are their prices extremely high, they have very little product in dog food. They also like to offer a 15% discount for first time users that you cant actually use on your pets products. It's a rip off and not worth my time or money.
