The company has garnered significant negative feedback, primarily due to its misleading portrayal as an official government site for passport applications. Customers frequently express frustration over being charged for services that are available for free, leading to feelings of deception and financial loss. While some users report positive experiences with customer service, particularly in securing refunds, these instances are overshadowed by widespread concerns regarding transparency and the handling of personal information. Overall, the sentiment reflects a strong warning against using the service, emphasizing the need for clearer communication and ethical practices.

It is a total scam. My 17 yr old son couldn't tell it was a scam, and he gave them all of his info (and mine), and paid them 38 dollars. I have no idea what this will do to his credit...
Sadly I filled out the form... but luckily I did not get to the point where I paid them money. I realized it was a scam and deleted my form and account... though I know they probably have my data saved somewhere and I will have to keep an eye on my credit reports...
This is a total scam. When you go to the post office you have to pay this fee again. The postmaster told me we were scammed by passportUsa
I filled out the forms and paid them thinking this was the passport office. When I met with an employee to process the passport and showed her I had paid $38.00 she said it was not part of the US Passport renewal. I now feared my information was shared and there would be fraudulent activity. I put a fraud watch on the credit reporting agencies. I found I could delete my account with these folks which I am not sure if that is true, but I did. Beware!
This organization is a SCAM! They do not assist you in completing ANYTHING! They provide you with the passport application form which you can OBTAIN FREE from the Post office. $38.00 for NOTHING! Stay AWAY from this site!
- SCAM, forms are free@ https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/
- Call *******149 - say you would like to cancel your subscription & that you would like a refund. They don't ask why they just do it.
- Report phishing scam to Google@ https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en
- Report site to Government@ https://www.identitytheft.gov/
I paid the $38 thinking my passport application was going to be processed as I have never had a passport before so really didn't know what to expect. After going to the city's passport application office and told them about the $38. They said it was a scam. I decided to try to get my money back. Went back to the site PassportUSA.org and contacted them via email. They responded very quickly. I told them I wanted to cancel my "subscription." She said no problem and within about 10 minutes, my money was back in my account. I asked about my information from the application and she said once the money is refunded, the account is deleted from their database. I think I would contact the credit reporting agencies just in case. I called the City's passport application office back to tell them the site that took my money and they will be contacting the state department and reporting them as fraudulent. Hopefully something can get done and people can get their money back.

Shame on you for stealing people's money. Go to the real site. Gov to print out free.
39 to print a document that is free is shameful. How do you sleep?
Out right Crooks. Wife applied to this crooked web-Site and was taken for $110.00. Sent in forms to correct Gov location and was rejected. I did not get involved till after all had taken place but warning to anyone using "nothing but a scam!"
Ugh, I hate being swindled. I wish they would shut this site down. Nobody would knowingly pay $38 for a form that can be printed out for free.:-/
Like so many other people, I was fooled by this scam company because I mistook it for the legitimate U.S. Government website for passport renewal. As soon as I clicked the button to make the $38 payment, it dawned on me that there isn't any other fee besides the standard renewal fee. Alarms went off in my head, and I immediately contacted them to request a refund. They sent me an e-mail stating that my purchase had been refunded, and that the payment would be removed from my bank statement within 24 hours. It's now 20 days later, and still no refund despite my sending two follow-up e-mails to them and being assured that it wouldn't take longer than 15 days. DO NOT be fooled by this scam website.
This is a site that poses as an offical us passport application and renweal site.
They have you populate the application that you can get for FREE from the official us govt site. They appear to be official but are not!
I have spent al day putting credit freezes on my info and that of my 11 yr old daughter.
I am VERY angry that after all these reviews that GOOGLE has not done anything to remove the priority this site is given.
I thought I was renewing my passport at a legit site. I paid 38. To fill and print the document that the gov't provides for free. I called them once I realized and the credit me back. Meanwhile they have all my info!
SCAM! Don't let them take your money. Google should be fined for taking money to rig the search results.
I paid the "Passport Processing Fee" of $38 and presented my receipt at the Post Office where I was completing the application process. They told me I had been scammed and that payment meant nothing to them.
If you are applying for or renewing your passport go to:
https://travel.state.gov
Which is the legitimate site that the Post Office told me about.
Don't use this site - if you do create an account there is an option to delete your account - delete the form you may have created first.
Do not use this site, the official site to renew your PP is travel.state.gov. How come our government is not all over this? The cost to renew your PP is $110.00 and you have to send a check of MO with your application..
They have nothing to do with the passport agency. They take your money and hope you will just let it go. Don't use this.
I'm canceling the charge on my credit card and hoping this "company" will respond to my email asking them to refund the money. I am reporting them as a scam. I pray my personal information isn't shared. This site needs to come down.
Answer: Definitely a scam. Dispute the charge to your bank or credit card company.
Answer: File a Fraud Alert with any 1 of the 3 credit report bureaus as a precaution. US Gov has on-line guidance for this.
