PartsSelect.com is a great resource for appliance parts. After you determine your ailing appliance's issue, snap a photo of your appliance model number tag (PartSelect will tell you where these numbers are), do a search, find the parts you need and get them on the way-chances are they will have it in stock. There are plenty of helpful videos on the site on how to make most common repairs. Save yourself hundreds of dollars by doing common repairs yourself, instead of paying someone or worse yet, buying a replacement appliance. Most failed parts issues are very common, and are well within the capability of most folks to repair. For example, my last repair was on a failed dryer drum roller wheel that was making a squealing noise and a worn out belt. A $39 kit, a couple of hours of time and the dryer is running like new. This repair would have easily cost a few hundred dollars.

I appreciate the vast inventory for appliance parts. I wasn't too surprised that the price for parts seemed a bit higher than sites like Amazon, but for the assurance of the correct fit, it seemed worth it. We set up an auto ship for a water filter for our refrigerator. We were quite surprised when the item more than doubled in price from the previous shipment without any notice.

After checking another part supplier who said the water valve for my icemaker was obsolete, I found PartSelect.com and they had the valve in stock. The valve I received turned out to be defective, PartSelect.com resolved the problem and sent me a new valve. No more filling ice cube trays!

The website is not to user friendly and the description of the product is pretty much a poor quality picture. The checkout is a joke because of the fact that it is pay pal oriented and not everyone has an account or wants to use it. The options for another payment method is nonexistent. Then on to the shipping (FedEx) was so crazy that they had to ship it to the same location twice and then kept saying it would arrive at post office for pickup but never did. Then it finally arrived at my door ten days later. The reason why we ordered is to get the parts in a timely manner but that was not the case. Hopefully you will look at this and make sure that it doesn't happen to all your customers.

Yes, they make things look easier than they are in the laundry room or kitchen, but their videos are invaluable in avoiding problems. Thanks, guys!

Cooling Fan went out in refrigerator and easily found the right part on PartSelect.com. Shipped quickly and it was an exact match to the defective one. Will definitely use them when I need anything for my refrigerator in the future!

We needed a belt for our GE washer that was a little tricky to find and wasn't in store at any local home improvement stores. It was easy to locate on the Parts Select website, came in a timely manner and is on the washer working well now.

Sir is easy to find the correct part and the "how to" videos are perfect. Shipping has exceeded expectations. Customer service has helped me determine the correct part with a simple diagnosis on the phone. I've saved time and money on several appliances over several years. Highly recommend.

The big story here is that I ordered a part on Friday a 2:00 p.m. with an expectation of receiving it the following Tuesday. Much to my surprise it arrived Saturday at 2:00 p.m. I consider this a success.

First company sent the part in a sorry excuse for packaging. No surprise it came broken.
Part select sent the part well packaged and intact in less time than expected.

The repair videos on the website is extremely helpful and I was able to pinpoint the issue with my dryer. I still disassembled the dryer according to the instructions to confirm the issue before ordering. The parts arrived quickly and were exactly what I needed.

I ordred the wrong pump, i returned the part expecting a refund so i could purchase the correct pump. (they are rather expensive) but per their policy somebody said it appeared to have been installed. It could not be installed because it was the wrong pump.they had the part in the warehouse 10 days before it was even opened up and looked at. Now i am out 200. And they discard your property and i still am without a washer, needless to say they will not get any of my business again or anybody else i can convince,to easy for them to be dishonest per their policy. I understand there has to be some kind of policy to protect them but who and what protects us from them. That was a new unused pump. Return request order # ******* and one star is still too good.i can not find any receipts

Although the shipping cost to me from partselect was only $9.25 the return cost would have been over $55.00 due to the sizeof the box, about the cost of the part. Partselect would not send a prepaid label at their rate. BEWARE!

I want to thank KIRSTEN for her help. I've been trying to return this piece of glass for two weeks. No one would take my return so she created a label and she took care of everything so I want to thank her for all her help today. She's a real wonderful person..

I went to the website, plugged in the part number for the vent grille on my microwave. The page came back with a part number for the replacement. I received that part but it is NOT the right part. I emailed to the company right away (about two weeks ago). I have yet to hear from them. I will call, of course. If they are not going to respond to emails, don't have the option on the website.

Refrigerator part and then power trimmer part

This will be the second or maybe the third ctisper drawer replacement I've had to order for my Whirlpool side-by-refrigerator/freezer and at $107 a pop is getting ridiculous. Front drawer panel pulls right off the drawer with no force being exerted on it. Construction shows nothing holding the front panel onto the drawer, just snaps on which mean it can come off the drawer easily.

We have several older appliances (20years +) that have needed parts.
We simply go to PartSelect.com & enter necessary info & VOILA the correct part is shown & we order it. We have saved hundreds of dollars that we might of spent purchasing new appliances.

Customer service by email is nonexistent! I bought 3 products from the site and they shipped me 2, they have not replied to any of my inquiries. Buyer beware, they advertise a big game but I would never buy from them again!
