We watched a video (a few times) on how to remove & install the part.
I suggest you do the same - and take videos of you removing it.
I think this part was designed by Rube Goldberg.

These people have a very good system for identifying what you need and letting you know if the part is available or no longer made.
The parts are reasonably priced, arrive very soon, and usually fit as expected! Plus excellent videos on how to put the new part in.

Ordering my parts were easy, shipping was not bad and delivered within 5 days of ordering. Upon opening there were three parts as expected. I ordered 2 part # ******* screws, and 1 part # ******* breather tube for my Briggs and Stratton. Delivered were 1 each of above and the errant part a large nut. The nut was in the correct package labeled for the 2nd screw part# *******. Contacted customer service, they expect me to pay for the return shipping on the wrong part and re-order the new part including $9.25 shipping. I complained and she said "I can give you 1/2 off the shipping cost". Only placed one order with the company and this is how it was handled. I'll buy the other one off of ebay... where I should have gone in the first place.

There was a little mix-up on my original order and Pam was able to take care of the issue quickly and efficiently. She also promised to refund the shipping cost once the item is completely processed. It was nice to speak to someone that spoke clearly. I will use this company again because of the way their employee handled this order. I will recommend this company to my family and friends.

I purchased a pump for my LG washer ( order ******* Jan 2022) and it failed in slightly less than a year. I ordered a replacement (order ******* Jan 2023) and once again the washer was working. I emailed multiple times requesting an RA to return the defective pump and never received any type of response at all. The parts seem to be of good quality and the shipping was quick, just don't expect any sort of warranty.

I purchased a pair of old 90's era whirpool washer and dryer set of Craigslist for $200. The timer of the dryer did not work, so you would have to set an alarm on your phone (or risk cooking your clothes). Within the year the motor and coupling went out on the washer. I looked online at a couple different sites to try to diagnose and repair the machine, and PartSelect stuck out immediately. Their videos begin with helping to identify what issues/sounds/etc. The part in question might cause when it fails, and proceed to extensively do the repair themselves from start to finish with a full version of your product. The parts are reasonably priced and get to you quite quickly if you live in the US. Just recommended them to my dad who's worked on his washer and dryer for as long as I can remember!

I ordered an inexpensive part for a whirlpool dryer. When it arrived, it did not fit. It was my fault; I simply chose the wrong part. I then called customer service. The man I spoke with was very helpful. He refunded my incorrect purchase, and he did not require me to return the part! He sent the correct part, and it arrived in 3 days. The installation video on the website was also very helpful.

Broke the handle for the oven on my Kenmore stove. Part seemed very pricey, and delivery took several weeks, but it's a 30yr old oven. The part arrived, it was an exact duplicate of the original, and that was great.

The only drawback: after the purchase of the handle, I received an offer to purchase 2 attaching screws to replace the originals. This would have added $26 to the cost, so I refused. Then, when the oven handle arrived, there were new screws included. So, there was no need for an offer to purchase these replacement screws when they were already included with the replacement oven handle.

I'm pretty sure the replacement screws were not specified in the description of the replacement handle, so this could be a simple mistake. And I just might be the only person ordering this type of part for many years, so it might not be worth it to 'fix the problem.' I just wanted to make you aware of what happened.

It was a perfect fit for an aging shelve that broke. Definitely recommend partselect. It was the plastic frame that aged & cracked. I'm going to order another shelf on the door that's cracked up

PartSelect is perfect for the home owner who wants to make appliance repairs. Not only do they have the parts, but instructional videos to show how the parts can be replaced. I made two repairs to our clothes dryer only because I was able to see how relatively easy the work was to do. Otherwise, I might not have tried. Everything worked out, parts and instructions, and the dryer is working like new. I highly recommend PartSelect. There prices are very reasonable and I will continue to be a customer when our appliances need repair.

First and foremost - PartSelect is consistent. That is a very important criteria for me. I've purchased from them several times and have not been disappointed by any aspect of each transaction. The most recent purchase, in April of 2023, was for a small but important part for a Shindaiwa brush cutter. I couldn't find it anywhere else, (well, on ebay, but I'm no longer a fan of that site). These folks had it in stock and sent it right out.

I wasn't sure what filter worked for my model of clothes dryer. A PartSelect customer service representative immediately helped me select the appropriate filter. It works perfectly and is a quality part.

A few months ago we called a repairman to come and repair the icemaker on our Kitchen Aide fridge. I inquired about fixing the chilled water side & was told there had been no parts available for our fridge for years due to its age. Fortunately, he found a loose wire or something & was able to get the icemaker running. Later the ice maker went wonky again. I had watched what he had done but that was not it. I called him again & was told it would take new parts & there were just none available. For a few weeks, we carried ice to the bin as it would feed out. Then I heard of Part Select, called them up & described my problem. I was told they had the icemaker but I most likely did not need one. The suggestion was I needed a switch. I purchased the switch & with the sales persons help over the phone I installed it. Not only does our icemaker work but the chilled water dispenser also works after years without it. Don't let them tell you the part does not exist!

Locating the part needed was simple and the video informed me of needed tools and suggestions to make the replacement job easier.
