Apparently, Honey Baked Ham Company of California utilizes OnTrac to deliver their packages. According to OnTrac's tracking system, my package was supposedly out for delivery on November 21st and was supposed to be delivered by the end of the day on November 21st. As of 8:00 PM on November 23rd, my package has NOT been delivered. OnTrac ABSOLUTELY FAILED to deliver my package from the HoneyBaked Ham Company of California! OnTrac delivery/tracking estimates are wildly inaccurate and incorrect. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! OnTrac must go out of business
Once I learn a vendor uses On Trac, I won't buy from them again! I get a lot of shipments and some of the companies I buy from use On Trac because they are CHEAP. The problem is that they are also liars, are understaffed, and have horrible customer service. It would not be a problem if they told you prior to your order that it would take 5-7 days longer than other shipping companies so you could plan accordingly. However, you have no idea they are going to be the shipping company used and they promise that it will arrive on a certain day every time you make a purchase then you are notified of "shipping delays". When you try to contact anyone to get an estimated date of delivery, it is very hard to do so. If you actually do get a live person, they will lie about the delivery day OR they have also on occasion when I call them out on this, even offered that I can pick things up at their warehouse, in my city, instead of waiting for another 2-4 days for my delivery.
Three for three. This company is without question the worst company to deal with. Tracking information useless. Said product be last Thursday till this Saturday morning. Used the SMS messaging...sent my text at 10:53 got a response at 12:40...with a message that says I must have stepped away...like I have nothing better to do? Like I said three for three...and my buddy owns a shipping company...he confirmed that this company is without question the worst...leaving packages by dumpster or delivering to wrong address...a delivery company delivers to wrong address...a delivery company!
In my neighborhood it is well known that OnTrac is terrible. As of right now I am going through trying to get reimbursed for a package from Home Depot that they lost. The status is shown as "delivered", with the note "behind gate". To which I ask, "whose gate?". It sure wasn't mine.
Package shows as delivered BS never received my package this is not the first time this has happened to me. This delivery service sucks no communication what so ever, no update that package is out for delivery.
OnTrac is the absolute WORST delivery service! Please don't use them for shipping, they just cannot get it right. As a business owner, I get so many packages delivered to my home every day, most of them from UPS, USPS and Amazon. Everyone drops them right on my front porch as they're supposed to. They are not allowed to use the USPS mailboxes as most delivery services know. Also, most packages won't fit.
First, my mailbox is about 1/4 mile from my home, which is down a long semi-private road with several other houses, off the main road. Our mailboxes are about 1/4 mile away, on the main road. They get burglarized constantly, so we've all had to get locking mailboxes to keep our mail safe. OnTrac thinks it's ok to just leave packages sitting on top of our mailboxes, way out on the main road! They always get stolen! I have called and complained and asked them to PLEASE deliver to my house, but they dtill don't.
This morning, I tracked a package from them that said it was delivered to th front door last night. I went out front and no package. After looking around, I found it in the wet weeds next to my dirt driveway, in front of my house by the road. WTF! What is WRONG with these people? They couldn't take the 5 extra steps to just leave it at my front door? Instead I have to hunt for it and bring in a soaking wet box this morning. I think it's so bad I'm going to stop ordering from companies who use them.
Ordered stocking stuffers in October to be delivered 11/2 Well here we are 11/14 order at warehouse 15 miles away on hold by Ontrac for some unknown reason! No notification or anything.
I can't even get my package delivered. Ontrac keeps making excuses. I wish the store would tell me they use Ontrac because I'd never order anything from them again. In the past I've had them just hand the package to a random person driving down my road. Left one somewhere I don't even know where. The people took it to the post office and they gave it to me. On another occasion they thought it under my sons truck. On another occasion the threw it on the road. On another occasion they gave it to my neighbor and said they left it in the front office. No office here just my house.
I have received 4-5 deliveries from OnTrac in the past month. This past year I called and was lucky enough to reach a real person and they took down my information requesting that packages are put at the back of our porch (6 steps up and 3 steps to the back). In the past month, including yesterday, our packages come in the middle of the night, are THROWN onto our porch or placed in front of our closed garage door (luckily we didn't drive over them). What in the world is wrong with this company? Who trains these individuals? I wish I knew when ordered delivery which companies use them. I would NOT order delivery again from them. This product delivered yesterday could have broken easily. Thankfully it didn't break.
OnTrac said delivered 2 packages to the door. What door - outside in the pouring rain? No package came/no one buzzed/not in lobby or ag my apartment door (where required). Am disabled, and they ignored disability instructions. Packages lost.
Ontrac uses "last mile delivery" The driver backed into my car and sped off. Zero cooperation from Ontrac to locate the driver. $2600 damage. FOR SHAME!
They lie about delivering packages and mark them as delivered in their system. There way too many complaints about this company for them to STEAL be in business. Yep, STEAL not still. They definitely should atleast be required to provide picture at drop off like other companies do, to hold them responsible.
2 packages in less than 2 months! How hard is it to look for the correct Street name, Same numbered house! Delivery people get your head out! No call back from on Trac as promised!
My package was signed as delivered but I never got it. I contacted their firm and they said they would send a driver to check it out. They did not call back ever. I tried to contact them multiple times over 4 weeks. They did not reply. Finally after forcing the seller to contact them, their "resolution" is that it had been too long so I had to resolve it with the seller? Their drivers are signing packages without ever delivering them how is Best Buy using this service?
I just received an email saying that my package has been delivered at my front door. There was no package delivered to my front door. I been here all day and in and out since this morning. I sent an email to customer service and I am waiting on a reply.
We are a real estate company and get checks delivered every day for 10's of thousands of dollars. Can OnTrac get any lazier to leave a completely blank Door Tag? Nothing is checked, nothing is filled out. When I go online to track the package, I get this message: No tracking information for DT******* is available at this time.
The shipper may still need to send OnTrac the package data, or the tracking number is invalid. Please try again, or contact OnTrac Customer Care, or the company that sent you the package.
So what was the purpose of leaving the Door Tag?
Used tracking to see where/when package would be delivered. Waited a full Saturday, said out for delivery by end of day. No truck/package showed up. F*&^ U ontrac. After looking at your reviews, I'm sure this zero star (if that were an option) means nothing to you. Just tell the truth, say it's going to be another day or three and you might get at least a two star review, Stupid. Don't know how you stay in business.
I don't if they only hire the most incompetent drivers or the most illiterate, laziest people, but... UUUggghhh. Left my 1st package AT THE GATE of a 200+ apartment complex. Ask me if I got it... 2nd package re-shipped from Chewy to replace the 1st. CALLED the company to ask them to MAKE SURE that their driver did there job and delivered the package to my DOOR. Hand to GOD, 5 mins later get a text from my apt off saying that I have a package at the office! Called Chewy back and told them that I will no longer be a customer and am closing my account with m due to this. It's the only way to guarantee that I will never have a deal with OnTrac again. They agreed to change my account to reflect to ONLY delivery my products via FedEx. So disgusted my OnTrac, I will probably still never order from Chewy again to be sure. Avoid this delivery company at ALL COST. They don't have a 1 star for nothing. Primarily, that's probably because you can't give less, they definitely earn it!
Multiple items lost. Packages show "delivered" but the surveillance camera in our building's mail room does not show a driver delivering. Customer service always promises an investigation but nothing ever comes of it. Had a $1200 appliance that never showed up. I went to their warehouse and they pulled up footage of my package being loaded onto their truck (box had a pic of the product on it) but my package never arrived. Recently a $500 order is lost, same story. Ontrac is a scam. Drivers are stealing packages with no accountability. They should be put out of business.
Every time i see ontrac as the delivery agency i literally cringe, the drivers usually treat my package like a football, tossing it on my porch. I have blink cameras at my front door & driveway. I wonder how they treat packages as they are being loaded onto the trucks, because the delivery is always rough. Plus the name is a joke, the deliveries are mostly late or not at all. If i could give negative stars it would be negative 5.

Answer: Their employees are stealing packages. I've had zero issues with Amazon, FedEx and ups but Ontrac can't get anything right. They are thieves. File a police report. I'm doing it tomorrow ummm absolutely sick of this company getting away with stealing with no repercussions.
Answer: Any Shipping company is cheaper and better than OnTrac. USPS, FedEx, UPS are all leaps and bounds better and cheaper than OnTrac. You will regret using them. Stay away from them if possible.

Answer: Agree / we already have the top 3 shipping companies in the city for local ( USA) shipping. Which throwing stealing packages is federal time by law opening someone else's mail. Or maybe that's only for USPS mail. But they should make it for packages as well. If it's not yours or not authorized by the person you cannot open it. Or if you steal it. It's a 250k fine. Or jail time And then say is that worth opening the package?
