I purchased tickets for an event and they sent me an email with incorrect tickets and the wrong date. I originally tried to purchase direct from fox theaters Detroit but the purchase button brought me to this third party. I purchase and was f'kd! I called 3 people and even the chat and they were like robots... you are SOL our policy says no exchange or refunds and I should sell my tickets online to recoup the value! They said they are third party I asked for the vendor info and they refused to give it. This is a bull$#*! site with bad reviews. I thought I was buying direct from the theatre! Shame on them! There should be a zero rating!

All these positive reviews you come across are complete BS. Their 200-300% upcharge, outrageous convenience fee's, and complete lack of customer service is just the start of it.

This site is Fraudulent! They don't give you tickets and "if" you ever get any it's not the right seats or even venue! I'm having my Bank Institution look into this matter and they even said this site is FRAUD! I will be getting my money back! I've contacted the BBB and the FBI on this site that are and have been ripping people off! I called the Venue of the concert I'm attending in July and they didn't have Tickets reserved in my name there so what does that tell you? FRAUD! ONLY Purchase tickets through the Venue your attending or through Ticket Master ONLY! FREAKING NASTY $#*! THIEVES!
I don't generally leave reviews, but this company hs ripped me off. I payed $80 more for my ticket than if I would have just called the venue. They don't offer refunds. You can't even talk to a person in customer service because their rip off business model anticipates angry customers. Do not buy from them. Never again.
You should never buy from this website, go to a legit site like ticketmaster.com where you know the tickets are good and not overpriced. This website charges double/triple face value.
I would not recommend using this website, as there are other options that are much less expensive with fewer processing fees. Their communication with customers is also very flawed, as they do not send a confirmation of purchase email until after the seller has accepted your offer for the tickets. This means you have to check your bank statement to actually verify that the purchase has gone through. It's already been over 48 hours and I haven't received any communication from OnlineCityTickets or the seller that I purchased the tickets, even though there are three different pre-auth charges and the full charge for the tickets on my account.
Because I did not receive a confirmation of purchase or a placeholder email stating that the vendor would review my offer before the confirmation would be sent, I ended up purchasing the tickets again through another vendor because I thought my transaction had not gone through. I really hate leaving negative reviews, but I honestly believe that this company's approach to communicating with customers is extremely flawed and needs to be readjusted.
Order two tickets and was charged 259.06 for a total of two tickets and the face value was 59.50 for each ticket. So with that being said you got 140.00 of my money for two tickets lesson learned NEVER but tickets from you guys... I could see if you charged 10.00 dollar service charge but not 70.00 DOLLARS SERVICE CHARGE FOR EACH TICKET!
I was told the tickets would come in a week. They showed up months later. I was afraid when my daughter seen them as she had been very excited to go that they were fake. Turns out, they worked, and she had a great time. I was unaware of the amount of views this review got. At the time I thought they scammed me. However, maybe after they seen all the potential customers they lost, my daughter's tickets did show up. Thanks for looking, at least your curiosity kept these people honest for me. My daughter loves Ru Paul, and she had a wonderful time.

Bought Ru Paul Drag Race tickets, and they didn't come. I spent 450.00 on tickets, and they are for my daughter's birthday. Beware, you might not even get your tickets.

They over charge for everything it's ridiculous. This site should not be legit and should be taken down! They charge way more than the actual venue in ticket sales, fees and mobile delivery. Like really it's going to cost you to send my ticket to my phone? YOU DON'T EVEN WAIST PAPER!

I understood about the final sale policy - however I did NOT receive any confirmation from the site at check out -- I sent a follow up email that day AND Called - but was on hold for so long I could not get through to anyone.
So I assumed the sale was NOT legit and acted accordingly. In FACT I did not receive ANY contact back from the company until I complained to PayPal several days later.
They sent me a link to resell the tickets but I will NOT be getting into any other contract with this company.
Rep was very helpful in recommending seating, gave several options, was very patient as I considered all options. Rep gave price comparisons including taxes/fees. Very pleased.
I paid $223 for a ticket (which I later learned was only $193 if I had purchased directly through the vendor), only to discover after I had purchased the ticket that there was an $80 service fee (meanwhile, the vendor only charges a $15 service fee). I am thoroughly disgusted that OnlineCityTickets buried the service fee in such a way that I didn't notice it until it was too late. They do not offer refunds. DON'T BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.
My wife was checking out the price of tickets for the Blake Shelton friends and heroes show in Des Moines, Iowa. She ended up getting charged $500 for 2 tickets for the show. She never even clicked on anything to buy. Then when she got the tickets it wasn't even for the section she was looking at. Tried to talk to these $#*!s & all they would say is that all sales are final & you had to click on something to make the order. I think they just make $#*! up to cover their tracks. The price on the ticket was $129, so needless to say we got scammed out of about $250. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE YOU'LL GET SCAMMED! If I could rate them with negative stars I would have to put a 100 negative rating on them.
I was more than a little nervous about being able to use the tickets with no problems. However everything went smoothly, no issues and had a wonderful night at the show. Will definitely purchase from Online city tickets again.
This is a resale vendor, which means they charge almost double what other vendors do. No cancellations or refunds at all. I got tickets for $140 and afterward found them for $80 on another site but I couldn't make any changes. Check all other options first. Oh and the seats aren't even for sure, it's just an assurance that they'll be near where you've chosen.
I needed to know where the seats were located in the row and they couldn't tell me. I needed to have seats near the isle because my wife has bad knee's. The tickets are non refundable and I was promised they were great seats. Unfortunately, I was sold seats 13 and 14, which means she will have to crawl over 12 people to get to our seats. And no leg room.The next tickets I purchased for a different concert were through Ticket Master and I was able to pick my seats! That's where I'll keep buying my concert tickets from now on.
Unfortunately I came across this website when I was trying to purchase two tickets to Mumford and son. I was unaware that this was a RESALE ticket sight. I bought my tickets for almost double the face value amount and was charged almost 70 dollars in service fees. My tickets were bought back in October of 2018 and I was told that I would have my seat numbers and section ONE WEEK BEFORE the concert. I have been patiently waiting for 5 months. This is now one week before the concert and we still do not have our tickets or seats. I talked to Dago in the escalated complaints department and he informed me that in the "fine" print of the website's policy it states that they can hold your tickets until 24 hrs before the event and even though I was told I would have tickets a week before. Dago said "If" you do not have a seat by then, you will receive a full refund. What kind of assurance is this? I want to know that I have seats to see the concert or I want a refund so I can buy the tickets somewhere else that can assure me that I will have a seat. We have one week until the event and I don't know if I have a seat until 24 hrs before it starts. This has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a ticket website. Customer service just wants to tell you that you should of read the small print that basically lets them do whatever they want.
Bought tickets and everyone was nice about everything that went on, there was kind of a long waiting period to reach someone about a little problem but the solution was fixed and now I'm be satisfied!
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November

Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
