Terrible company
March 5, 2016

Booked tickets for a 9 hr flight so I decided to choose seats with no other seats in front of us for extra leg room. Paid an extra 30$ per person for these seats. When I called the airline to make sure I got the seats I was told the airline does not charge extra for any seats and that my seats were already taken. Then, because of school I have to change our tickets by one day, Every time I called one travel I was told a different price ranging from 400-950$ per ticket. I asked for a price break down and nobody could give me a straight answer they all tried to scam me getting me to pay more for no reason. In the end after arguing with them for hours, With some mysterious "discounts", They got the price of the change fees to 617$ upping my ticket prices from 630$ to over 1000. I fly 4-8 times a year and have never had any problems with any company like this one. My one recommendation for this company is to stay away and do not use them.

Horrible experience!
February 29, 2016

My husband bought a ticket from one travel and when he called to the airline to confirm the day and fly, the airline told him he doesn't have any reservation! He had to call the agency to fix that problem, that took one day talking with people from India or Pakistan who you barely understand what they said and try to get everything done, at last he could fly the day that he was schedule, but 2 days before his return he did the same, called to confirm and guess what? The airline told him he doesn't have any reservation either! Uff another day wasted on the phone find to fix that, instead of enjoy his vacation! So with this terrible and horrible experience will never, ever going to buy any ticket again! This agency should be close

Maybe we were lucky
February 6, 2016

After booking an incredibly cheap business class flight LA-Paris on OneTravel, we checked the reviews (that we should have checked beforehand). The reviews were so horrible that, nervously, I called the airline the next morning which told us that they had the reservations we booked with the correct seats in their system. Several months later the trip went perfectly without a hitch.

Actually is a long story, is totally a terrible experience with
Their customer service.
I book the ticket through one travel,
The name order is wrong,
I called the customer support, and they
Said name change is not permitted, and they can't help me change it
According to China airline policy. So i call the china airline, they said onetravel
Has responsibility to help me change it, they have total control on it.
Then i call back one travel, their attitude is so bad, i talk to several persons
And they said transfer me to other person which can solve this(actually they dont want to help me), when this person appears, she still says they can't change, and i said the airline already told me you have control on this. Then they hang off my phone. Oh my god... so bad, i feel so angry. Finally, there is a person help me, and said already contact with the airline, ask me to wait, then no more call back...

Rip-Off
February 1, 2016

I shared similar experience.
I purchased their ad-on cancellation insurance.
I cancelled one $700 ticket 2 weeks in advance, no refund, nothing, without a doctors certificate.
Now just found an additional $300 charge on my credit card.
Agent was confusing and rude.
1st and last time. Never again

The use of the site was great, but I did make some errors in my part. Next I will be more careful when booking a flight back into the USA as an international person.

I have dealt with so many airlines and travel agencies all over the world. I have a long story of how awful this company is. Long story short, do not EVER use ONETRAVEL. They are unprofessional, rude and unhelpful liars. Never ever book through them. They do not deserve anyone's money or business.

Rotten booking agency
January 18, 2016

I had booked a flight from Philadelphia to Orlando on Frontier Airline. I had thought I was going to the Frontier website but somehow managed to get onto the One Travel website. I did book a flight which came out to be higher in cost than I had expected. I had to struggle, however, to find information about baggage fees and seat assignment. So then I was getting curious and looked deeper and determined that things were not right.

I called One Travel requesting to cancel the flight, this was just 30 minutes after booking. The clerk, probably in India, took my information and requested a call-back phone number in the event we were disconnected. He explained that I had to make the cancellation with Frontier, but he would call Frontier while I was on the line... on hold.

In 5 minutes the call was disconnected. But guess what... One Travel did not call back.

So I did call Frontier, who cancelled the reservation. Of the $129.94 charged by One Travel, $104 was transferred to Frontier. Frontier cancelled that reservation and rebooked and that rebooking included 2 checked bags, so called priority seating, and an additional fee of $10 to reserve by phone. It was worth doing all that on the phone at this point in time. With the $104 credit I was $2 short of the total needed for my flight. As a courtesy Frontier waived that $2.

My sad tale is that I lost out on $25 that One Travel kept, plus $10 for live operator reservations. I would still have had to pay baggage fees at the airport.

Bottom line: One Travel is a rip off and should be avoided. Frontier treated me very fairly as I did manage to get satisfaction with $104 of the $130 charges against my credit card. I will not pursue One Travel further as the most I can retrieve is $25, but if opportunity presents itself I will not fail to condemn them as a terrible operation.

I haven't left yet, but while trying to online check in and print my boarding pass for tomorrow's flight to Atlanta I eventually discovered that I am not flying West Jet as expected, instead I am flying Delta, which won't let me check in online, because of the West Jet booking. This means another 30 minutes standing in line at Pearson. There has been no mention of this in any of the communication from One Travel. It wasn't even a real bargain. Never again, from now on I will deal only with West Jet directly

RUN BY THE MAD HATTER
January 8, 2016

In my life Ive had to deal with the IRS, divorce attorneys, crooked car mechanics, military command, having my credit information hacked, zoning commissions, insurance companies, living next-door to neighbors with barking dogs and no mufflers, applied for loans, the fairly tale world of higher education, hemorrhoids and burying a few dogs. Now I get to add OneTravel to that long list worsts.

Fees
January 7, 2016

I have never had a booking problem as described by others on this site, but I do object to being charged $31.50 per flight for seat selection. Customer service tells me that this is an airline charge, and this is not true. The first time I booked with One then called Air Canada who gave me seat assignments without charge. The second time I stopped the process, and went directly to United. A cheerful rep booked my flights, and gave my seat assignments without charge. And ten bucks less for ticket.

Onetravel- A greedy Liar!
December 14, 2015

I booked tickets for my Uncle n Aunt to fly from Boston to Vietnam but my Uncle will have a serious liver surgery before the departure day so I called them about the situation and they said I can't get refund from them then asked me to talk to the ANA Airline to get money back.
So I talked to the ANA airline and they told me the ticket can be cancelled and got refund back in this case under the fare rule of the airline.
I called One Travel again and again ( on phone and live chat at least 5 times) and I asked them to cancel and refund the money back because of the Medical emergency and I have doctor note but they don't care, the don't want to refund plus insistently asked me to pay 300$ per person to reschedule the flight. They also asked me to contact the local office of the airline to get the money back( this is impossible and non-sensed because ONETRAVEL is the one who charged my credit card, not the airline, plus ANA is a Japanese airline, they don't have office in Boston)

Now I just called the airline again and the tickets was cancelled and the airline agent has talked to Rigo Berto( a supervisor of ONETRAVEL) about my case and they said ONETRAVEL will send email to me so that I can have the email address to send them the doctor note but I have not received anything thing from them until this point.

ONETRAVEL just want to make money from us no matter how much we struggled with their service, they lied that the Airline didn't allow to refund for me while the airline talked to them and request them to refund to me. If ONETRAVEL don't give me any feedback I will complain the case to www.bbb.org.

I don't know how this company has survived so far. I got a link to the tickets from kayak.com.
They showed me tickets to India from Toronto for a good price. I booked the tickets. An hour later they sent me the confirmation email that the tickets have been booked (I could also see the reservation on the airlines website).
Then about 3 hours later, I got another email from them stating that the price on my reservation has changed the change was over $200.

I called them and asked them, how they could change the fare after booking the tickets. The customer service guy was especially rude and told me that it will cost me $400 more now. I showed him that their website is still showing the old fare. The guy had guts to tell me that I should book again and I will have to call them again. After this he hung up on me.

I called again to cancel my tickets (which the email said is free of charge, since they were changing the price). After one hour they sent me a cancellation notice. And I found out now that my credit card is blocked because they are still trying to put transactions on my account.

When I asked the customer service rep that how could they cancel my reservation when it was never booked(as they told me). He hung up again.

I am going to create fraud warning for this company on Better Business Bureau.

Now they are putting temporary transactions everyday and I cannot use the card because it is at limit because of daily holds

One Travel
November 27, 2015

This year again my husband decided to use one travel, wrong decision again. Jusr the night before leaving at 8:00 o'clock we received an e-mail to inform us that first leg of our trip was cancelled. We calked the company and were offered an option which was flying to India to go to Thailand and after asking many details found out that It would be a very very long road, with lot of waiting in airports. Then It took tow hours arguing over the phone to cancel without fees charged, but don't need ti say that I had to fight with them! We finally ended up calling the transporter United Airlines and were put on the same same flught the next day. United airlines staff was very very accommodating!

One evening in early October I tried to book a hotel through One Travel. I woke up the next morning to find I had an email from One Travel stating that they could not book my hotel room, as the credit card was declined, which later my wife & I discovered was declined because we had already booked several flights that day for our kids to come home over Thanksgiving & the card company flagged it as a possible fraud, so they put a hold on the card. The email they sent back stated that they had cancelled the reservation & IF I wanted to book the hotel again, I would have to try to book it again on the website. By that time I had located a better deal on a different travel website and booked it.
I then found out several days later that One Travel had continued to try to charge our credit card for this room until, ultimately, it went through. So they went ahead & charged me for a hotel room that I did not use and they had already told me they did not book. I have been calling One Travel since approx October 10th to get them to credit our credit card, as of today, November 19th, they have still not refunded our $558. I have spent numerous hours on the phone trying to track down the refund and have gotten a litany of excuses as to why I have not received it. People say they will call me back, they don't. They have sent me emails telling me that I will receive the refund within 14-21 days, it never comes & then I have to call to track again. They always have some ridiculous excuse. Stick with Expedia, Travelocity, or Bookit, as One Travel is terrible... the very worst I have ever dealt with.

I booked a flight to Thailand and added extra charge of flight insurance in case of an emergency, and sure enough - had to cancel my flight due to my sister's surprised surgery.
They lied, ignored my insurance, refused to refund the full amount, and let me "hang" with a penalty of almost 40% the flight amount. All correspondence are lengthy full of promises, but false, there is no one in charge. They should be shot down completely. DON'T EVER BOOK A DEAL WITH THEM! They publish good prices - but can't be trusted!

These people are truly running a scam. BEWARE. Be warned.

They try to hustle you and basically mislead you afterwards. I'd say it's dangerous to give these people your info. Cancel your card if you gave them the number.
