Do NOT waste your time or money with this fraudulent business. I ordered a hoodie online on October 1,2018 and I have yet to receive my order! I emailed multiple times and they keep giving me the excuse that Canada Post is extremely behind in their delivery service, which is absolute bulls**t. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they closed the case when Obviously Chic failed to respond by the deadline. So they were essentially useless. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and currently have a tentative credit on my account for the charge.

I signed up for the subscription boxes which were supposed to ship Dec 20th. It's now Jan 18th and I still don't have a box... two emails later OC is saying it is shipping in the next 10 days. Needless to say I have cancelled ALL further subscriptions. By the time I get the Winter Box it will be Spring and I will no need for the contents inside :(

Twice now this company has taken my money, attempted to delay me by claiming back orders/etc until my PayPal dispute window closed. The first time I lost out, then I was dumb enough to order again a year later (I know, stupid me) the second time I got a dispute started and escalated in time. Hopefully I get my money back this time.

Never again!

Ordered sweaters the buy one get one October 1st. November recieved an email saying i will get it within 1 to 11 day. Nothing! Contacted her numerous time and was told it would be shipped the same week. Here i am still waiting almost 4 months. And zero response back when i asked for a refund.

This company has lovely photos of really cute stuff that you will not receive. When you email to ask for your stuff or a refund, you will get an automated response. Comment on their social media accounts and you will get blocked. Buyer beware.

Super disappointed

This is the third time ordering from obviously chic. So super disappointed once again. Ordered Christmas gifts, the fit material of three of the four items I ordered were awful and took almost 2 months to arrive. The third one never showed up. I sent items back for a refund and been waiting almost 2 months for refund and keep getting the run around.

Do not order from this company. They will not ship your order as they don't have inventory and just steal your money without refund.
Complaints have been filed across Canada's to RCMP, etc

I wish I saw this review page sooner! I ordered 2 hoodies Oct 1st. It is now January 4th and I still have not received my order. I have emailed this company multiple times, asking for a refund. The first time, they told me I ordered a preorder item... bull! It did not say that anywhere on the website. Next, they told me that it was Canada Post. I have received 3 other items, shipped by Canada Post and ordered after this order. BULL... again! I have now sent 2 more emails to get my money back, with no response. DO NOT order from this company. Total Garbage

I sadly threw away my money when I signed up for a year of her box subscription (now called Hey Helen Box). Boxes didn't ship when they were supposed to (which is fine, but be upfront about it instead of saying they're on their way), and when pressed the owner had nothing but excuses. Most items in the box are cheaply made (from China) and definitely not worth what you're paying for. She claimed a kimono was handmade by a fictional home business in Kelowna, yet it had a made in China label in it. She seems unable to take responsibility for how she runs her business, and instead blames her vendors, the shipping company, etc. If you're needing a refund, she has said upfront it won't be processed for weeks, which makes no sense whatsoever.
This company has zero respect and value for their customers. Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere.

DO NOT ORDER! They steal your money! I ordered items in October 2018 that were never shipped... excuses and lies about delays and nothing ever shipped. They finally agreed to cancel my order (like it was a big deal and they were doing me some favour because it is against their policy to cancel orders) and refund my money... it's January 2019 and I still haven't got my money back. And again, more lies and excuses about why it is taking so long to process my refund! You can only email this company and she (Jess the owner) uses the same recycled excuses and lie responses over and over again... and don't dare try and contact her on the FB page or any other social media. All social media is highly monitored for negative comments or inquires which are immediately deleted and then you are blocked. She will gladly take your money, but don't expect to get or order or get your money back! She is a thief and fraud!

I had to choose a star... they don't even deserve that still haven't received my order after weeks and weeks, emailing them with a generic response, no word on when I'll be getting my subscription box either... this company is constantly ripping people off!

Worst company ever

Don't get sucked in to their "sales" and adorable clothing. It takes months to ship, if it ever does and the quality is poor. Their marketing promises great things that they do not deliver on (still waiting for a Christmas themed sweater well after Christmas has passed). This company offers flaky unhelpful customer service and are not accountable. It is nearly impossible to get an honest answer or a refund. Save your money. Buying from them is like giving your money away.

Dishonest company.

Once again at Christmas time they oversell their products and dont communicate with their customers. I've been waiting for a black Friday order that was going to be a Christmas gift. Thought ordering almost 4 weeks in advance was enough. It hasn't even been processed so they cant blame the strike. They dont answer their emails except to say they are "working as fast as they can" I tried to give this canadian company another shot. But once again they have disappointed me. I will be cancelling my subscription once I receive this last one and will think long and hard about ever ordering again.

Don't buy from them!

I ordered in Oct and still nothing! They sent me a shipping tracking number at the end of Nov, but Canada Post has advised me they have not shipped anything. They initiate a shipping label with Canada Post so they get a tracking number but don't actually ship anything. This is fraud! They have not emailed me back regarding a refund yet. I'm going for to report them to the RCMP anti fraud online shopping department! How is she allowed to still operate? This is a horrible business and needs to be shut down!

I can not repeat myself enough. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANBY!
After reading all these reviews, it seems that this company is doing the same thing to everyone who has purchased from them.
Everyone is getting the exact same generic email from them.
2.5 months and I still haven't received my items, and they have now changed their refund policy since I placed my order in October.
They are taking your money and using it to keep their business up and running and not producing the product. No where at time of ordering did it state that my order was a "pre order" and that my size was not in stock.
Now they are discriminating against me due to my size, saying that "Because of the high volumes and nature of our pre-orders that go into production in your size and style once your order is placed, we don't allow cancellations once an order is made". Size shouldn't matter, if you are offering product for "all sizes available". This could have been informed to me the first email that was sent to me but it wasn't until i had requested 3 time to cancel my order.
Please if you have had bad service from this company report it to the BBB. They can't continue to run a business like this, and should be shut down!

At the beginning of August I placed an order during one of their many sales. I never received any shipping updates so at the beginning of October I signed into my account page on their website to find it had been CANCELLED at the beginning of September with absolutely NO communication to me as to why. I also had not received a refund. I emailed through the website and through their customer service email and received a reply that yes, my order had been cancelled and the refund should have been issued automatically... No kidding! But it hadn't and they were going to check into it... fast forward to 4 months later and I have no refund... only a couple emails "thanking me for my patience" and telling me they would look into it
