Nordstrom is the worst company ever. I placed an order #*******. For a bag worth $433.50 on June 17th 2023.I got a notification that my package was out for delivery on June 20th with a delivery company called UDS. I have never heard of them. Nobody rang the bell, or contacted me. I got a notification from Nordstrom that package was delivered to my mail room, not my apartment, as I had indicated my complete address as i work from home. I went to the mail room, and there was no package there for me. The courier company had left a picture with a proof of delivery that belongs to someone else and was delivered by FedEx on the 4th floor. The package has a different name on it, and was in a FedEx envelope. How does a bag fit in an envelope? I contacted Nordstrom with all the pictures and proof that my package was not delivered.but they say, they are not responsible for the courier drivers, and the update is final.Since Nordstrom has taken ot upon themselves to frustrate me this past two days for deciding to spend my money on their website.I have spoken to over 10 different people regarding this. Nordstrom says that they are not able to refund me as the package already says it was delivered. I do not know what happened to using a professional delivery company that can be accounted for. You choose to give my package to a delivery company that have not be heard of, and now you saying you do not have control over the delivery company.Do not patronize Nordstrom.They willingly steal your money.They are thieves in broad day light!
I've never been so shocked and frustrated by a company. I had a package shipped through LSO (never heard of them before) and it was marked delivered but never arrived. I reached out to customer service to let them know so I could get a replacement sent (I had ordered two sizes of the same thing to try for a wedding). Initially they were helpful and said they'd put in a claim and their team would investigate and likely refund me for the purchase then I could buy it again. Less than 12 hours later I got a notification saying it had been rejected. I called back to submit another claim and next day less than 12 hours later it was rejected again. This next time I reached out to the service team via email to get more info then I called their finance team. I was told that they reviewed and the carrier said it was delivered so that was it. No proof of delivery or anything and despite me continuing to ask they won't provide anything (I suspect they have nothing). But their email follow up told me I could submit a police report for my "stolen" package. It wasn't stolen and it never arrived. I am in complete shock and awe that the company did not (as they said) have insurance with the carrier and are choosing to not replace my $300 order. Won't be shopping here again and if you ever order online ship it to the store (or just shop elsewhere)
Do not buy on sale ahoes online because they will keep sending you the wrong size. I bought twice the same shoes in women's size and they keep sending me in men's size. When you call customer care they tell you that you got the right size, lol I have eyes. Do not buy there. They laugh on your face.
My last three experiences shopping at Nordstroms has not been pleasant. I am a regular customer, and I'm surprised by the quality of service.
For my first shopping experience, I ordered a pick up order and asked for it to be gift wrapped. Just in case before giving the gift, I checked to see that I received the correct item. The eyeshadow palette I bought had eyeshadow smeared all over it. It was not presentable as a gift. I had to go back the next day and ask for a refund.
My second shopping experience is an item I ordered that was delivered to the wrong address. It was delayed twice, and then when I received a delivery notice, it was said to be delivered in a different city. I had to call customer service and ask for a refund.
My third experience is from a Nordstrom gift I received. The gift came with no barcode sticker, and no order number/gift receipt. I do not like the item and I want to return it, but I can't because I don't know what the order number is. I called customer service and they told me I have to contact the sender to get the order number.
I'm very disappointed at the quality of service Nordstrom is offering. This was always my go to department store for orders, but now it looks like I need to start shopping somewhere else.

I have attempted to order 4 different times from Nordstroms in the past 5 months. 4/5 of my orders were never fulfilled or delivered. I received confirmation emails, your order has shipped emails and then nothing. The date for delivery came and went and when I called to track the package, suddenly the items are no longer availalbe (though the website still shows the item is in stock). Customer service reps are dismissive and their apologies are robotic and insincere.
The most recent purchase was a Mother's Day gift and not only was the store completely apathetic about my item not arriving by Mother's Day despite me ordering the item more than a week before AND the item being available at the Nordstrom's in the next town over, they claimed there was no way to fulfill the order in an expedited manner for my inconvenience. Not to mention I was transferred about 7 or 8 times and received conflicting information from each representative I spoke to. I have STILL not gotten my refund and the item has not been sent to me. Further, this item is still CURRENTLY AVAILABLE on the website! I am outraged and completely dissatisfied and will shop at Neiman Marcus or Saks going forward.
Nordstrom's could learn a thing or two from Publix, Chick-fil-A and Amazon--each of these companies strives to provide extraordinary customer service and they LISTEN and take steps to resolve any issues to the customer's satisfaction. Nordstrom's doesn't give a damn about it's customers and it shows!

Two sales women in lingerie told me to go shop at Target and insulted my intelligence by saying her coworker was a size I bra size and she finds bras at Target. Rude. It was not said to me in a nice way. I called to complain. I would rather they hire people who have respect for other people. MAYBE they should hire pople over 40 years old who have manners. Apparently those two do not.
They are absolutely horrible to deal with. I ordered 2 items. One of the items was missing from the box and the other was incorrect. I was told they wouldn't refund me for the missing item because it was there when they shipped it. The box wasn't sealed. They are rude and definitely treat their customers very disrespectfully. I didn't realize once an item is shipped it's out of their hands who cares if you lose money. Obviously not them because they will just continue to take it. Dirty company. I could definitely add copies of emails from them and chats which would make them look even worse.
Nordstrom has a wide variety of brands, but the prices and the shopping experience on the site make me prefer purchasing at other businesses. However, the biggest reason I shop at Nordstrom is if I need something nice for an event coming up - when I'm short on time and willing to spend a bit more on an outfit.

I ordered Versace Medusa Frame pointed toe pumps online from Nordstorm. They came with Versace box missing (just the shoes, and no Versace box). The cost ~620$. There was no authentication card or the original box. Just a note saying that the box was damaged, and we apologize.
I contacted customer service. They told me that they have contacted the store nearest to me, which was about a 30 minute drive, and they will give me the box. I drove all the way, with a lot of hassle, only to find out that I was lied to, and no one has called them.
I contacted the customer service again, and asked them to make sure that this time they have contacted them. Again, I was told that they have called, gave me a name too, but this time, another store about 1 hour drive from my house. I drove all the way, only to find out that I have lied to again.
I called customer service again. The manager told me that there's nothing that can be done, and you can return the shoes. The manager sounded condescending too.
I've been having email conversations with them, and all they have to offer is "we apologize for the inconvenience. Do yourself a favor. Do NOT order anything from them.

I brought my 94 year old Mother to buy comfortable shoes. Our sales man would have rather shot himself than help us. He kept looking away from us and then when he did look at us, he seemed so annoyed.She ended up buying 2 different kinds of shoes, quite expensive.This was not the result of his sales techniques. He was arrogant, sloppy and very unprofessional.
This place will not refund your money if a package is lost or stolen. The just take your money and dont care if you get your orders or not. Id never recommend anyone to shop here
Nordstrom's breaks the law. And they will not leave you alone. I have been harassed for 3 months because I returned every single item that I ordered online. Twice they sent the wrong item. And by law you do not have to pay for their mistakes. I have noticed that Nordstrom's plays a game with customers about returns. I find that they must be desperate. In Chicago I used to buy a lot of Eileen Fischer dresses; I was a bit heavy. When you have three $400.dresses in your arms they are decent people. Otherwise you get very little respect. This year I have been called a liar and a thief. I have asked the government to get them out of my life. They threatened your credit bureaus. Personally I am hooked on Macys and Bloomingdale's.
My purchase was first delayed then ended up damaged before delivery. They wouldn't replace the item. Only refund me and wanted me to reorder. No thanks. I never received anything and knowing it was damaged refused to simple replace a broken product!
I used to be a Nordstrom loyal customer but definitely Not Anymore. 4 months ago I returned 3 gowns and even though the tracking number proves they have received it they refuse to pay for my refund and saying "they can't validate the contents of the package that was delivered" which is such an absurd excuse. If you want to continue shopping from them you should know there is no guarantee they give your money back after your returns. They don't deserve a single star
I ordered a swimsuit for my daughter and was sent an ugly adult sweatshirt instead. I called and an exchange was done. The replacement was once again the same ugly sweatshirt. My daughter has no swimsuit but I have 2 extra trips to a busy USPS store to return the item I never ordered in hopes of recovering some of my money.
Very poor service given to me by Van - the shoe department and Mo - manager in charge on 01/22 in Old Orchard, Skokie, Illinois. Both were rude and implying that I had damaged my boots mechanically.
I've purchased a pair of Tory Burch boots- total of almost 500 $ on September 27th 2022, 3 months ago; I've noticed about a month ago that lining of the heels started peeling off and a plastic base started to show. I would expect better quality from boots like that and was hoping for an exchange! Both associates- as stated above- implied, that I had damaged the boots mechanically! With normal, not every day use! Poor quality product and poor quality service! I definitely do not recommend either!

Answer: I have bought a fair number of designer handbags and sunglasses from Nordstrom. In all cases (depending on designer) the handbags were marked inside by the designer, where the item was made, usually a serial number and often a certificate of authenticity. This is especially true of the couture items i. E. Prada, Yves St. Laurent, etc. I have never questioned an items authenticity that I purchased from Nordstroms. They are way too big to risk their rep on fakes.
