If they use a shipping company called Lasership, you will not receive your package. Go ahead and request a refund. Lasership is ran by morons and thiefs. Nordstrom must care more about saving a dollar than protecting their reputation using a trash company like Lasership to deliver to customers.
First, the bag comes without dust bag and just rolling in the box with a plastic bag. Like how I wrap my cat poop. Second, the printed gift message was not in or on the box, which I did requested. Third, the bag has a stained spot on the card pocket just right between Marc and jacobs. The protection sheet was obviously pulled off and laid in the bag. Forth, the back of the bag has a light blue dot and a scratch. Apparently they sent me a sample and charged me full price. It is so frustrating and humiliating.
OMG I placed an order, it will be a week tomorrow & it still hasn't shipped. I talked to Customer Service asking why this order hasn't shipped. She could not give me a definitive response. She told me it's shipping from Riverside, CA 20 miles from my delivery address. This order should have shipped 3 days after the order was placed. Very disappointed in how Nordstrom ships orders. This is the 2nd time I've had delayed shipping. My best advice just to one of their stores so you won't experience the headache I'm having about this order. Nordstrom's need to hire a more suitable Logistics Department & Manager.

Used Nordstrom alterations for jeans bought there. Nordstrom lost the jeans--they were put on a return rack. After trips to the store, numerous phone calls and texts with 6 different people, most with pathetic resolution attempts that I would not accept (they actually offered to refund my platinum member "free" alterations). Finally the jeans were found--so yet another trip to the store for alterations... Service-recovery for my time (about 10 hours), hassle, and frustration absolutely lacking. Service experience is a huge fail Nordstrom.
Ordered a pair of sneakers paid 300$ was a gift for my sister. Then received an email that the package was received, and it wasn't so waited a little bit then called customer service they told me it was delivered but i havent received so the lady told me that she will process a refund request and guess what it was denied of course so called again they told me that they did an investigation and the package was delivered to my door step but gess what i did not receive it. So i asked to be connected with the shipping company and they sent me a list of companies and i asked if the package was shipped with all of them then they sent me another shipping company and gave me there website and phone number to contact as they don't have a direct contact person do you believe this $#*!! What.
Long story short thank God it was delivered to my neighbor or i would have to pay the 300$ without even receiving the package.

Ordered a gown from Nordstrum. I received the gown two week prior to the occasion. The dress had already been used. The zipper was broken and the front top of the dress was frayed. Not enough time to order another dress so got that one altered and fitted. The dress was ready 5 days before the occasion. I tried the gown on when I got home to find that the zipper was never fixed and the left strap was never altered. Four days before this special occasion I'm going back to Nordstrum to get the dress fixed again, mind you I work a fulltime job and now I'm going back and fourth to Nostrum. They did have the dress ready by Wednesday and the occasion was happening on friday. This was nothing but an upsetting and also very disappointing experience at Norstrum... Never again will i ever purchase from this store again...
I purchased an expensive bag for my wife. Unfortunately, it never made it to me. UPS states that it was delivered. He delivered a JC Penny bag and used my tracking number to say it was delivered. This is all on camera. I called Nordstrom and complained in hopes they contact UPS and find my bag. Nope, instead they send me an email that they are not refunding me. Can you imagine, $1500 dollar bag... Nordstrom did not put insurance on it? Hard to believe. No one wants to track or do their due diligence. Now, this is my headache. I guess, I have to hire an attorney. Just horrible service.

Stopped doing business with Nordstrom a few years ago as their customer service dropped to levels lower than Walmart. Bought about $3,000 in clothes over the last month and have experienced even worse service than the last time I was a regular customer. Trying to simply have alterations done on three suits, a blazer and dress shirt bought there, they make customers jump through hoops JUST to receive a Nordstrom Note, NOT refund for advanced paid alterations on their items. Other higher-end retailers do not make customers go through egregious processes to have items tailored. I've spoken with THREE different levels of "customer service", and the only consistent theme are the words " I am so sorry, there's nothing I can do, you'll have to call...". I am officially permanently done with Nordstrom. Their policies have gotten in the way of accomplishing any form of common sense service. They may be to busy focusing on social justice and other non-sense instead of just selling clothes. Far better options, consider Neiman Marcus, Von Maur and the like. Bye Nordy.
I returned an item to nordstrom and the warehouse screwed up and sent me someone else's item saying i returned the wrong item. When i called the customer service, first they couldn't hear me so I hung up and called back. The second customer service person told me they would have to investigate what happened but they would not refund my money until the investigation was complete. They refused to immediately refund my money even though it showed that they had my item for 2 weeks already. I asked what should I do with the item they sent me, he told me I can take it back to a nordstrom store. I told him why should I take my time to return to the store something that is their mistake? I am also not going to pay to return it, since it is not something I asked for. When I complained to the customer service rep about the stores poor customer service policy he was nasty and condescending. This is not the first time I was treated poorly by customer service at nordstrom. With the choice of stores I would shop where they respect the customer.

Answer: I have bought a fair number of designer handbags and sunglasses from Nordstrom. In all cases (depending on designer) the handbags were marked inside by the designer, where the item was made, usually a serial number and often a certificate of authenticity. This is especially true of the couture items i. E. Prada, Yves St. Laurent, etc. I have never questioned an items authenticity that I purchased from Nordstroms. They are way too big to risk their rep on fakes.
