Order clothes and shoes online. Never received the order but our card was promptly charged. In the beginning they said let's look into it. Repeated the same excuse for a while so I waited. Life got busy and I called again after few weeks and they said, oops it's over 30 days now so no refund. It's not the old Nordstrom any more. Be careful ordering from them!

To start, I bought a 99$ cardigan online. Although expensive, most reviews on their website were positive. Once I got the item, I realized this was an overpriced, poor quality item, shedding lint like crazy, with no care instructions! Like, who sells garments with no tag for care instructions!? Maybe because it's terrible.or maybe some never wash their cardigans? Anyway, I tried to post a review of it on THEIR website, and was denied. I tried at least 50 times, and got different 'error' messages. I think they do not accept reviews under 3*. I read that the brand of this cardigan (Zella) is actually a Nordstrom brand. That makes sense. Will never buy from them again.
Twice I caught a pair of boots on sale. Twice the day after I placed the order I got an email the next day saying it was canceled. This has never happened to me at any store before. Twice in a row at the same one is abysmal. Will not shop here in the future.

Bought a pair of pants and on the screen by the register it said free hemming when you buy pants. I go and get them measured and I am charged $24. I have had an absolute NIGHTMARE experience ALL between 12/16 and 12/23 Starting with looking like a credit criminal trying to pass a fake card because there was a "restriction" on the card I had JUST opened to, being treated like a criminal, criminal because the associate did NOT take off the magnetic strip on the perfume and the alarm going off NOT once but TWICE... Than being told off when on a text chat, hung up on by the credit department, now a $1600.00 Christian Louboutin purse is just LOST in the mail and NO big deal we'll process a refund in 5 to 7 days and if I wanna buy another one I can "END CHAT" is what I got... Really? In a time that the economy is awful I spent over $2,000 dollars in less than a week and get treated like absolute GARBAGE the one person who helped a supervisor by the name of JACKSON that I spoke too was helpful but I can tell you from personal experience NORDSTROMS is GOD AWFUL and just to make sure I will repost a negative review about this until I get some sort of call...
I purchased a Christmas gift for my wife through their website. When I purchased it the item came off being listed on the website as if I had bought it. Received an email today saying that they made a mistake and never had the item in stock in the first place. Life goes on, the wife will understand she's getting something else a little later instead, not the end of the world I know.
Just out of interests sake though I checked the website after getting the email and they have again listed the item they "never had" as available. I'd think a lot of their online stock doesn't actually exist in physical inventory based off my sole experience with them. At least I got my money back which is better than a lot of reviews here.
Also as you read the positive reviews notice how strangely generic and similar they all are and ask yourself if those are real as well.
I purchased myself some boots for Christmas and so that I could wear them for New Year's Eve in Las Vegas. When I received the package I immediately wrapped it without looking in the Box thinking it was the Guess boots I had ordered. When I opened up my Christmas gifts yesterday called the too much surprise were the most horrible disgusting looking boots that I had not ordered. I immediately called Nordstrom customer service and was told not only would they not be able to get my boots to me on time because they don't do expedited shipping, but they also don't compensate the customer for any troubles that they have had because they "don't put money on a customer experience."

Ordered boots for pick up next day/ Tuesday.When nothing was updated I called the store on Wednesday and was told they've been delivered at 7 PM the night before they just hadn't gotten around to updating my email. The store later called to say while they were in the store they weren't at pick up yet because they had over 2000 orders they had to process so I should wait a few hours before I came in. I waited more than few hours. The clerk went back to look for it for about 30 minutes, then came out and said he was going to check the dock. As far as I know, one week later, he still there, because he never came back. Someone else took my phone number saying they look into it and get back to me, needless to say, they didn't. I tried to reach out to customer service online to cancel, and they told me because they were "in the store" which clearly they are not. I had to call the store. Still trying to resolve it because store says they want' to continue to look. It's sad because I remember when Nordstrom's used to be a store that set itself apart by caring for its customers but clearly that's not the case now
I bought the expensive item on online for store pick up. I picked up the item and returned it without opening right away. One of store associate helped me to return it and opened the box. They sent wrong item which was a lot cheaper than my order and returned at store. The store associate said that it could not be returned because it's been canceled. Then she called the customer service and helped me for refund. They siad they were going to refund it. Since it was wrong item, I didn't bring anything. They said they would refund within 24hrs. Now I got email that they couldn't refund because I didn't return it even though I never received. I talked to one of representatives, they couldn't help me cuz the store made a mistake. That why I got denied for refund.
They said they couldn't help me unless the store figured out. What a great store is this?! They kept saying sorry that they couldn't help to refund!
I'm not gonna go back Nordstrom. I don't want to be their customer anymore!

Instead of contacting the driver they tell me they will request refund- i say no i want the merchandise- they say no you will have to reorder( this is the annual nordstromsale where items sell out). So im resigned to refund; i assume it was credited to my account

On closer inspection it says you will get email if approved.
I contact them and they say it was denied- no reason why.
I order from amazon and i have never had a package compromised,plus i was home- it is clearly a dri ver /delivery issue

I literally ordered something for the first time and I thought i would continue to shop at nordstroom. But this will be my last time because i never received my order even though i was told it had been shipped and delivered. This really sucks because I really needed what i ordered urgently and i was leaving the country so i couldn't re order it and get it anytime soon
I got hired as a seasonal worker and management treats you terribly. I've been verbally and mentally abused since starting by my superior and their superior has decided that I'm the one to blame because I'm "not helping the customers out properly" (despite making lots of sales). No consequences for my superior's actions. Nordstrom claims it is an ethical and customer forward company, but that is not the case (both from the perspective of an employee and customer). Very disappointed in Nordstrom and I hope to not work at this company in the future.
Affordable, convenient, friendly customer service! We got our second uniform order and we were really glad we chose this store. If you are a small, medium or large corporation, this is your one stop for all your clothes and gifts for your employee and client.
My first time ever buying anything from them and after I got 6 emails with fedex saying my shoes was on their way, they kept changing the date now it say pending…. Called FedEx 6 time Nordstrom 6 time oh I guarantee they won't help you…. They will say this… u have to wait basically 7 days after then they will file to see where your item when… as if you want a refund. This system gotta be the weakest I ever came across in my whole life. I will never shop with them again I'm good. And if I do I will pick up my item in store. You better off asking someone on the street to bring your change back than to trust FedEx and Nordstrom together is a scary nightmare. I hope they don't be scamming people I'm not happy at all with them…

Answer: I have bought a fair number of designer handbags and sunglasses from Nordstrom. In all cases (depending on designer) the handbags were marked inside by the designer, where the item was made, usually a serial number and often a certificate of authenticity. This is especially true of the couture items i. E. Prada, Yves St. Laurent, etc. I have never questioned an items authenticity that I purchased from Nordstroms. They are way too big to risk their rep on fakes.
