I visited the Nordstrom shoe dept at Woodfield in Schaumburg, IL. I went with my 78 year old mom who can barely walk and has a bad back. When the sales man brought out the gym shoes for my mom, he just handed them to her. It took her time to loosen the shoelaces and get one shoe on because of her mobility. He just walked 5 feet away stood there and watched, and didn't help. He was not assisting anyone else. It was a slow time in the store and there were lots of sales reps that were idle. After she finally got on one shoe he came over and asked how it fit. She said she didn't know because she was working on trying to get the other shoe loosened and on her foot. Again he walked away. What happened to the days when the sales people would help you loosen up the laces and get on the shoes? I'm young and do not need that help, but my 78 year old mom certainly does. Each time he walked away and stood from a distance watching her struggle. I finally assisted. If I wasn't there to help her, he certainly wasn't going to offer to help if she were alone. Very poor service:(
I then looked at a pair of $259 waterproof boots. He was very excited about how great a boot it was and that it was WATERPROOF. When I then asked to see the $150 Sorrel boot, excitement then left his voice when he realized I wasn't buying the top dollar shoe. He didn't have much to say about the Sorrel boot, which is also a very good boot. They didn't have my size and that was the end of it. He looked unhappy that he didn't get a sale and muttered something under his breath as he walked away. We only had him get us 3 pairs of shoes between 2 people. That's not a lot to ask on a slow day. No reason to be grumpy because you didn't make a sale. That's how it goes. I hear the sales reps are paid only on sales commission. And if that's true it certainly plays out in the poor service and trying to make a buck by doing very little and trying to oversell the top dollar item.

Absolutely love these guys! Detailed product guides (This is one of their best features), terrific customer service, genuine prices, endless list of products... I can go on and on! Checkout process is a breeze and personally, I love having the option of including the custom fees during checkout. It ensures that there are no delays. Have never ever faced the need to return a product to them for reasons such as sizes, manufacturing defects, incorrect items, etc. I keep shopping with them regularly and will continue to do so.

Love everything about Nordstroms. Love good customer service and we should EXPECT it! Nordstroms always get's it right and if they don't they MAKE it right. Girl's go ahead and spend the money (they have GREAT reductions look at the sale icon) and get it right the first time.

Today I had an appointment at Nordstrom's wedding department located in Merrick park. The seller was well rude to us. She made me feel uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place at all. The experience was horrible. The worst Customer Service ever. Then, I ended up buying my dress at David's bridal located at Miracle mile, where the experience was really amazing

I am extremely disappointed with Nordstrom. I ordered my mother a coat for her 74th birthday and paid for 2 day delivery. Although I received a confirmation that the order was confirmed it still has not been delivered after 5 days. My siblings and I planned and saved for a special present. All the service person could do was say "I'm truly sorry but it ships from a 3rd party so we are unsure why it was not delivered on time." I would like to ask anyone reading this to please defer from ordering on line from Nordstrom. My Mom is a very nice older lady and this was extremely disappointing.

I just returned from shopping at Nordstrom in Cherry Creek and wanted you to know what a wonderful experience I had. First, the fact that a live person answered my call and directed me to another live person in Lingerie was very impressive. I received excellent service from Karly Thomas, Certified Fit Specialist, who was extremely attentive and patient until she found just the right bra for me. I asked if they ever go on sale and she mentioned that the purple ones were available for $26.00 less than the nude ones. I purchased the only Chantelle Minimizer left in my size and ordered 2 more to be shipped to my home since fit was much more important than color. Nordstrom was recommended by my Physical Therapist for a more supportive bra. I've already received my order. Kudos for the outstanding personal service I received from your employees.

However, I trust shop.nordstrom.com. Their clothes have good quality. I also love that they are trendy without trying too hard.

Customer care is very helpful.

Don't order online internationally. They shipped it out and it said I received the parcel, but I never did get it. Then they gave me the run around when I asked for a refund. Now I'm out 100 plus dollars and have no product. Not to mention it took forever to ship out. Ridiculous customer service. All around negative experience.

Warning: if you order from Nordstrom. Com you better have three weeks to wait to receive your item because shipping takes forever.
AND the reviews on the website for products are all positive or neutral. You will never see a bad review and you will never be able to post one. If you are unhappy with the quality of the item you order and you write a review on their site they will never post it. So don't trust their reviews.

I had very bad experience with Nordstrom rack in Lynnwood, WA last year. The store manager asked for my ID to track my previous receipt, however when I asked it back that idiot said that he never asked me for it... Then he said that he will check the video recording to double check that, came back five minutes later and said that the quality of the video is very poor, but he still sure he never asked me for my ID. I was very short on time to call the police, but I filed a police report next day. That was my last time shopping at that store. This kind of people should not work in customer service...

I have always loved Nordstrom store, especially Nordstrom Rack. I placed my first order with Nordstrom.com just recently and their site seems consistent with the same commitment to quality and service. I would have given it 5 stars except the navigation of the checkout experience was a little confusing.

"Very disappointed with Nordstrom.com. I never received a pair of shoes for my Flower Girl in my wedding. I called a customer service and they send for a second and third time and we still waiting for the shoes for the past 20 days. We have accurately spoken with 3 different customer service reps in the past two weeks and they just returned my money without the taxes, so I am still paying the taxes for the shoes I never received and on top hat I spend my wedding day, looking for shoes for my daughter (my flower girl). This has been a worst experience and nightmare lesson for me. Nordstrom DOES NOT HAVE A GOOD LOGISTIC SERVICE AT ALL...
