I registered with MyUS to use their personal shopper service to purchase some hard to find items from BestBuys. They have advised (after I placed the order) that this is not a service they provide. This limitation is certainly not clear on their website.
I have since asked them to close my account and requested a refund of the registration fee. The account has been closed as requested, but they are refusing to refund my registration fee, even though the service was not fit for purpose.
Final update - I did get my membership refunded, and have increased the star count to 2 in recognition.
Ive had several problems, which sometimes takes days for it to be solved but once it Kristen and Macy they have always solved my problems in a blink of an eye. More especially Kristen she is a 5 Star customer service personnel.
In general, myus has always exceeded my expectations in terms of delivery my items and other services.
It take less than 30 min to solve my problem and answer all my questions on chat live

Have used it for many years and been satisfied, used it quite after few years ago as everything in US was much cheaper, recommended to few friends as well. Recently started to hear back from my friends feedback that the shipping prices have raised drastically - dimensional weight generates massive shipping bills - even twice more as it used to be. So I don't think you save a lot these days especially after you pay customs etc.
The biggest issue I have with myus.com that they are not really there to help their customers, in my case that's me. Having multiple issues with purchased values really made me angry. If the item doesn't come to your inbox with retailers receipt it is easier to forget about your item rather than get it ready for shipping. No invoice - high market price gor your customs declaration, doesn't matter if you got the item for free or $1. Ridiculous...
After many years, from bottom of my heart I would recommend you think twice before you step there. It's slow, expensive, not very reliable service with very poor communication, don't expect response to your questions same day or if you use chat the person on the chat is not authorized to do anything.

Since i have become a member in 2010 I've noticed how greatly MyUS live support has greatly improved over the years. In my recent experience on live chat Jessica has been extremely helpful, friendly, and on point.
I would love it if all of my interactions with companies were like the one i just had.
I have once had a really bad interaction with an account manager Brieann which was very reckless and foolish, so foolish infact she had a whole shipment of mine removed from my account without consulting me or telling me she's going to do it and was arrogant enough to ignore my emails + not giving me a way to contact with her supervisor, which made me stop using MyUS for 1 Year...
It was horrible... I got a package shipped from Florida ti Canada. The package weighed. 7lbs and the contents cost $27 and we asked to ship via the least expensive option. It cost vid MYUS $45.25... what a ripoff... never again.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time. I hope someone from MyUS will respond to your question and give you a more satisfying answer. All the best.

I'm sorry you had this experience, Ed. Unfortunately, Best Buy will not ship to MyUS.com or to any other consolidation company. In most cases, though, you can purchase the same products (and often at lower prices) through other retailers that will ship to your MyUS.com suite.
