MyUS is simply the best.
It's no small task you're asking from them: they have to take care of your packages the way you would.
Still, they nail it every time! My last contact with customer support was with Teresa. I made a typo in declaring values, she straightened it out immediately so I could send my packages over like 10 mins later.
If you're not shopping yet in the states through myUS, you're missing out. Especially when Teresa's on call!

I have been doing a lot of shopping over the past 5-6 months and have nothing but the highest praise for the 3-4 front end team members who have handled my account and shipping requests, as well as the back office team involved in the shopping consolidation and packing in preparation for shipping. Even during this holiday season, I have not experienced any delays whatsoever. All enquiries, requests and assistance needed have been handled in a very professional, expeditious and totally headache free manner for me. A good example is my latest shipping request; This time Angel handled the matter. An additional package arrived for me hours after I had initiated a shipping request. I sent a request in hope it would be included, but thought I would likely be too late; especially as MyUS would likely be very busy with the seasonal increase, but I was pleasantly wrong. Your team have set a very high bar in terms of professionalism, service quality and all interaction has been within hours to less than 24hours... Bravo Bravo! You customer IT interface is also sooooooo user friendly and easy to use too.

Every time she helped me - she did it fast (submitted different requests during our chat, for example) I really liked our conversation and my overall impression about MyUs services is significantly based on Teresa's assistance; and i found it excellent.

MyUs' policy on delivery costs is ridiculous as the customer does not get told what they amount is that they are paying for before being charged. No disclosure. In my case my delivery cost was over 2 times the amount i paid for the products - which mind you i only bought from the US was to save money. Dont think ill recommend them or use them again!
MyUs is the best forwarder company I've ever known. I just use it for long time, many years passing by but with better services then ever.

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time. I hope someone from MyUS will respond to your question and give you a more satisfying answer. All the best.
