I wanted to make them some changes in my reservation. They charged me 78€ and then they were not able to do it but kept the money.
Choose any other platform of those but hands off mytrip.
Also I have to say that the CS agent was arrogant and incompetent.
I can tell you what will happen after "succesful" booking. You will receive the email later that your booking is cancelled due to blah-blah reason and the refund will be issued in 3-5 business days.

Bad bad bad! Awful customers service, waited 2 hours over the phone to be hanged up by the operator when she was supposed to look for my booking. Outrageous. Reference number différend than on the order… just a big mess to even contact thenand have my refund since march 2020. Do yourself a favour and look for another travel agency, one that actually care about they customers. I will put a review every single day till the money hit my bank account! Cheers!
Redirected to them by main travel broker ending up buying tickets of them. Non existing support service. Never got anthing back from them even with flights being cancelled or opting with their flight insurance. Total scummers. Inconsistent support. Be carful!
They changed my flight From Buenos Aires to Lima multiple times and never answered the phone. Customer service is the worst, never replied emails and took ages to answer any phone. I can't say this strong enough, ¡NEVER BUY WITH MY TRIP!
Flights provided were not the ones I booked - instead of the midday/early afternoon flights I booked, I was given a flight at 8:45pm and a return flight at 6:00am. Called their customer service and of course was told I would have to pay hundreds of dollars extra to change the flights. Asked for the matter to be escalated to a supervisor, was told they would call back. Instead I received an email from a no-reply address saying they had tried to call me on (*insert mobile number here*)... but it was not my phone number. I ended up just having to deal with the terrible flight times and the impact this had on my sleep and health and the shortened holiday (I lost half a day on each end of the trip.)
Bought my ticket 3 months ago, unfortunately for my nightmare one letter of my last name was wrong on my boarding pass, next day I called the airline, they told me they can correct for FREE but the travel agent in this case (my trip) has to contact them directly to do the correction. So I called my trip and they said they can do the correction but I will have to pay a fee of €114 euros (yes for one letter). I was upset about this extra cost for something is free if I had purchased the ticket straight with the airline, but decided to pay the correction fee on 16/04 to my trip!
Guess what, today 30/06 and 5 days to my departure, they still Haven't correct my name and not even answering any of my emails.
I'm really disappointed and angry with myself to use such bad company and the worst customer service ever!

They have the worst services and follow up. Their customer services and support is very poor and delayed.
My flight cancelled by airline in the flight day one hour before. They reduce 30 USD after lots of follow up. If I bought from the airline website they gave me 100%+20%.
While we booked a flight ticket with mytrip, and even after a month we are trying to run behind them for getting our refund back. Haven't seen a terrible service than this company ever in my life. Never booking again. Would not recommend to anyone ever.
Scammers. If you ring them it goes around and around... please provide booking number, then I'm putting you on hold, then I need to transfer you... repeated over and over 8 times or it drops out and then finally in despair 1 1/2 hours later, I give up.
When you ring them you can tell they want to hand you on and NEVER resolve a rebooking etc.
I booked several flights with them because they were the cheapest on sky scanner (by a small amount). Then you get pestered for hundreds of pointless extras. I agreed to pay for an allocated seat for what seemed like a bargain UKP1. It asked if I wanted aisle or window. I requested aisle. That was it. In the event, I got a middle seat. It was only UKP1 so I left it. I suppose this is part of their financial model. Then BA cancelled my flight (with 6 weeks notice). Then they offered for UKP30 to try to get my money back! What?! My contract is with them. So they need to sort it. All attempts thus far have failed. I'm sufficiently annoyed I will pursue this but who hasn't got better things to do in their lives?

I booked a flight to Portugal with Wizzair through my trip, which was cancelled by the airline, I have been trying to contact MyTrip for 9 weeks about my refund - they take approx 2 weeks to reply to an email and when you call their contact center no one has a clue what they are doing and never send a follow up email even when requested... I have given up on trying to get my £140 refund now as I found the process that stressful i'd rather lose the money. NEVER again.
I have bought a tickect with you, the airlaine cancelled the flight. I ask for refund and now you send an email to me saying the Airline reject my refund and I have to contact the airline for a solution. The airline said I have to find a solution with you because I bought the tickect through agency, Nobody give me a solution. You pretend keep my money? You are a thiefs
I have had the same experience as so many of you, if you're reading this, I feel your pain and your frustration.
To contribute to the negative reviews, my story is;
Booked a flight from New Zealand to the UK, they claimed that the flights had been cancelled, this was untrue, they had simply oversold tickets and could not honor all the tickets they had sold.
I paid $2500 and 12 weeks later, received a refund of $1800.
I could write my frustration in a long rant here, but it really gets us all nowhere. How do we actually go about reporting this company to a third party financial ombudsman and have them charged, and forced to refund all of the people they have robbed.
There's no point in all of our complaining if we don't actually do something.
I will be looking for the appropriate channels through which I can begin the process of holding them accountable for what they have done to me.
I advise that if you have read this far, that you do the same, something has to be done.
I would NEVER use this company. Our flight got cancelled due to Covid and after 2 years of emails and phone calls they are still refusing to help us. They told us on a call 6 months ago that they couldn't refund us but we would have a flight credit that didn't expire for a few years. Now that travel restrictions are gone and we are trying to book they are telling us our credit was only good for a year and its now gone. Every time we call and wait on hold for over an hour they give us a different story. The have horrible customer service. Worst company ever!
I have booked a ticket through the Mytrip website. I first asked for a refund and my emails were ignored then I called and after being on hold for a long time I was told that in total I should pay approximately $400, so I said I'll get back to you. I called later to refund and I was told that the ticket was not refundable and the person who told me that it costs me $400 to refund made a mistake. However I was told that I can change the destination and it would cost approx $800. Then again after calling back I was told that the person who spoke to me made a mistake and I cannot change the destination I can only change the date. Each of these calls takes 50mins at least. I then called again only to change the dates and have been told after being on hold for a long time that they cannot get the fare for a change and I have to call later, after a long discussion I was told that the airline fee is over $1000 for changing the date of my outbound flight without providing a breakdown of the fees, in total the calls took me more than four hours and I was never able to have an answer.
They just ruined my holiday.
This is a fraud company. I recently booked my flight via mytrip, after payment I did not receive any confirmation or booking id. I just received an email with one line " Hello! We were unable to confirm your payment so your booking has not been processed. We have not taken any money from your account. Best regards, Mytrip ". No booking ID, No other id of any sort, and my money has been deducted. If you call thier customer service bastards say that check it on there website aand their website requires booking id which I never recevied. So to save yourself time, NEVER BOOK FROM THIS $#*!HOLE MYTRIP!
This company is absolutely rubbish. We purchased a ticket via this agency and the airline cancelled our flights. We received an email from this agency that we won't be able to fly as we planned. As per the email, I called the customer service and I wasn't given any rebook option. I was told that they can only request airline to refund. It's been 2 months, no refund was processed. Tried to call again and need to wait for hours to get them. The point is we purchased tickets from you and you didn't deliver the service for whatever the reason so you need to refund customers money. They have breached the consumer law. I've requested the bank to deal with them now.
We will never use this company again for flights. Avoid guys if you can.
Wow, I have never in my life ever encountered such ridiculously terrible customer service. I'm in awe with the level of horror. How does this company even exist?
So my flight that i booked through them was cancelled. I called to see what solution they have. I waited in phone line for 15 minutes before I was connected to an indescribably rude German man. He was yelling at me the whole time, repeatedly telling me "stop asking questions", that he is not gonna help me solve anything, then he kept repeatedly yelling a phone number at me, saying i should call that number. I asked what that number is for, where it leads. "Stop asking questions!". He said the number has no name, he can't tell me where it goes. Ok. That he is not responsible to solve the issue, so I should just call the other number. Does it go to another branch of customer service in your company, or where are you sending me? "NO! STOP ASKING QUESTIONS! ZERO ZERO FOUR NINE..." "Hey wait, lemme get a pen to write it down..." "NO! ZERO! ZERO! FOUR! NINE!..." "Wait, pen..." "NO! I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS! ZERO ZERO..."
So I'm calling that other number now, phone line 18 mins thus far. Goes to EuroWings, apparently.
What the actual fuhh. I thought this was the stuff of exaggerated horror stories. But nope. I very highly advise everyone to avoid this unreal BS. Just wow. Don't believe the fake positive one-line reviews on here. If i could give a -5, I would. Not worth it. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
If you wanna lost money, buy with Trip.com My son couldn't fly because Gol Airlines doesn't allow unaccompanied minors on connecting flights. However, I didn't have that information during my booking. Trip.com must warn parents about that policy. My son couldn't fly, I couldn't change his flight, and I didn't get a refund. I call for assistance, but the attendant hang up before solve my issue. I lost lots of money buying new ticket for him, besides all stressing, disappointing and frustration. Never again!
