I ordered a sweater dress from Lulugal and didn't know until after the transaction was under way that the company is in China. They offer free shipping, but say nothing in advance about the product being shipped from China. My dress came in a reasonable amount of time, but it was NOT the dress that was represented on the website. I thought I would be getting a cotton blend soft, swingy, navy blue sweater dress with orange trim. What I got was some kind of cheap Halloween costume version of the garment. The dress is made of cheap polyester, and in no way resembles sweater material. The orange trim is literally made from the cheap fabric that pre-bagged costumes are made from. There is no finishing on the trim. It is just a raw, 1-inch strip around the hem and cuffs. The sewing is remarkably bad, with bunching of the trim fabric and loose strings. There is nothing swingy about this garment. Also, the sizes are NOT represented accurately on their sizing chart. I felt like a numbskull when I looked up reviews for this site AFTER I ordered from them. Lesson learned. Don't order from this site unless you have a really great sense of humor, because I could only laugh when I saw this dress.

I wish I'd read these review before ordering. I usually do read the print and the return policy but I didn't as it was an impulse. It's so shoddily made, doesn't fit and I got the same poorly written reply from customer service. I'll see what I can do with PayPal.

I ordered 2 dresses from Lulugal and 3 weeks later they had still not shipped. They charge you as soon as you order not when they ship like many reputable businesses. I sent countless emails (tickets) and they were always asking me to "wait little longer" as my dresses were "hot items". They make no effort to advise you of a backorder status when you are ordering either. After I realized that the dresses were not going to get to me in time for the events that I had ordered them for I asked that they cancel the order and refund me immediately. Then they started asking me if I would accept "store credit" instead of a refund. I stated that I would absolutely not accept store credit and they finally refunded me (with a $3/piece restocking fee).

Stay away from this place of business!

Just wish I'd seen these reviews before I ordered a dress. It looked fab on the website and I loved the fabric pattern and design but after 1 wear the seams under one of the arms had come undone. On inspecting it as to whether I could repair it I could see that the fabric was so shoddy that it was beyond repair. I contacted lulugal and they offered me 20% off another order! I declined and they upped it to 30%! I have opened a dispute with PayPal and am the point of escalating this. Shoddy garment and terrible customer service. Beware you have been warned.

I had reservations ordering from a site I hadn't really heard of especially when the price seemed too good to be true so when the item came and it was lovely material I though WOW. PHEW! Only it was too big in some areas and too small in others (I. E. I'm meant to be flat chested for this to fit). I read someone ordered a size too small so sent it back and got the next size up. There was no returns slip with the item so I contacted them via email from their website and was told "You need to pay for the shipping fee if you want to make an exchange or return. It is not worth returning the goods due to the postage costs, right? As for the one you received, if you really cannot wear them, I suggest giving others as a gift or selling them online.
How about you keep the item and we give you a big discount to buy the one you like?

So yeah probably isn't worth the fees. Now I'm worried about their ethics too because the clothing is so cheap how do they manage the posting? Low wages? FYI if you want to return it its Room 1341, #1 building, 333 Lane, Jingang road, Pudong, Shanghai, *******, China. Though I don't know if they have a policy in place so you may return it and still not get your money back. Now I understand her suggestion to sell it on or give it away. A shame because I love the style but don't want to order the next size up and find myself in the same predicament.

Ordered a dress for £24 but looked a different colour when it arrived. I asked to return it and was told yes, but I would have to pay the higher price postage and be charged a 40% handling fee. That would leave me with a pound. When I asked what on earth a handling fee is, they informed me that's what they pay the shipping fee. NOT FREE SHIPPING. It's just added on to the very cheaply Chinese made dress. Only any good if you don't mind cheap looking items and definitely don't intend on returning. What a waste of money.

I ordered two dresses from these arses. I saw them on Pinterest. Nothing at all like the pictures, cheap and awful quality, not to mention the sizes were awful and I already knew they run small so I went a size up. I tried one on and the literal zipper was crooked as well as the dress. They obviously are a sweatshop where poor workers are most likely worked to the bone and in a hurry, had I known, I would never have went this route. It says on the tag nothing can be returned, they have a "policy" of thirty days in which we have to pay to send it to china so it's not worth it. I didn't even know it was a company in China! They're not clear! You're paying for literally nothing. You're handing them money, you're over spending for trash bags. I went on the site to submit a ticket and it sent an auto message saying their customers "expect too much"! How horrible! Horrible! How has the BBB not shut them down?! Wish I'd seen these before I ordered. Never again.

I ordered a dress & it took ages to arrive & it wasn't worth the wait. To say it doesn't look anything like the photo in their advert is an understatement. Apart from the awful quality it barely reached the top of my thighs & I am only 5'5". The company said I could only have a refund if I paid to return the dress 'to China' otherwise they would give me a credit on account but still have to pay to return the item. Obviously returning the dress at my cost wasn't viable due to the cost & as I'm never going to order from them again, I am left with nothing more than a rag. Lesson learnt & I hope nobody else orders from this company.
