Lows employees are always a big help and i like the fact that lows gives a current or prior military discount. If lows doez not have the item you are looking for they will order it for you and let you know when it comes in. Great store in my opinion
Same as the Home Depot. Need to find an employee? Need to find a product and not sure where it is at? In a rush and need to use the self checkout? Once you find an employee that has been trained specifically to love their job and ask about a product; they will be more than happy to walk around the entire store with you until they find another employee to pass you on to that will then walk around with you. Avoid all of this and just go find the oldest man or woman that is an employee and tell them what you are looking for. They will then direct you to the manager or call someone on the phone that can assist you.
Sometimes purchases are out of stock, but I don't find out until I pick up in store. Check out is easy but shipping options aren't the best.
I just shop in store now, since our local staff are so great! (Near Elkridge MD)
I basically use their online site as a catalog. But it's easier to then drive the ten miles to the store. Besides a lot of what I tend to buy there is way too expensive to ship AND to have to wait for. Plus with things like lumber one always wants to pick through the supply rather than have some guy in a warehouse just grab what's on the top of the stack.
Lowe's is better than home depot, especially in the pricing department. They always have a large variety of awesome products and usually on hand...

It is so easy to order and pick up in store, or have delivery. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Stores follow similar layout, so if you are familiar with one, its easy to find what you want in a another store. Also military and military retiree's with ID's are given a 10% discount/
When you finally get sick of the other do-it-yourself businesses, you will always find Lowe's to be superior in all facets!
I have come to rely on Lowe's free ship-to-store option for many of my home and landscape needs. I can place the order at my convenience, then Lowe's sends me an email when the merchandise is ready for me to pick up. The pickup area is at the front of the store, and it is always staffed by courteous, competent, professional sales staff. I highly recommend Lowes.com as a safe, reliable site to use.

Lows is a great place to buy just about anything that you are looking for.
Lowes hired to remodel my kitchen. A disaster. The cabinets were expensive. After they were installed you could see many, many flaws. Doors don't meet. No stain on many parts of the doors and drawers.(They left me colored brown crayons for touch ups) they deliver by a big truck and leave them in the garage. YOU are supposed to check for problems. Hah! All those heavy boxes, no way. The installer was ok. But we had problems with the work. The granite guys cracked the granite and tried to patch it so we wouldn't notice. And left. But the tile people pointed it out tous. Big problem because granite wanted to rip out the granite AFTER the tile on the wall was put on. Impossible. Destroy all the tile work. No way. After arguing with them they gave me a credit but have a brand new kitchen with a big crack next to the sink. Besides that no one stays working in this department. Every week a new person was there and it was very difficult to deal with. Lots of money and not worth it. Stuart, FL store

Hired to replace my doors with a fatalistic design, promised me to completed within a couple of days and then a local contractor to visit who was cheap in rates and manipulated us to change the design or it will take a lot more time.
