First Friday told us to deliver the toilet between 9am to 11am in my new home. I went there and wait until 10:40 am and got phone call from lowes client mentioning that "accidentally delay and told us they can not deliver it. We ask when it will deliver and she said she do not know and the driver will call when driver got time. Ask when driver will call, she said she do not know."
At around 11:40am, getting a call driver said he will deliver it at around 12:00. But at that time i am out for lunch and can not be back at 12:00. We ask to reschedule to afternoon. He said he can not reschedule to afternoon but tomorrow. So we reschedule to Saturday and let us waiting between 6pm-8pm. So wait but nobody deliver at all after two hours waiting. We call lowers they said they can not deliver today and stock manager should notify us at the morning. We said he did not notify us. Clients just said sorry to us and ask me to reschedule. I just want to cancel order and client said he can not cancel but he gives us a number to call. The cancelling number i called the first person said he can not handle online order and transfer me to another line and wait around 20 minutes on the phone call and another person picks the phone and transfer me to another line and waits around another 10 mintutes. My phone is finally out of power. Until now, around 6 hours of our times wastes on around 5 hours waiting and 1 hour endless phone call. Totally a waste of times. Tomorrow still need to call them to cancel with multiple internal phone transfer.
I learned my lesson that never use lowe's delivery. Totally waste of time.

Today I called to cancel my account again. After 40 mins waiting, I have talked to a real person finally. She told me she cannot cancel my account. Then I asked why. She said she doesn't know. She needed to check with her manager, and asked me to wait again. I was waiting for another 25 mins. The call was hung up by her.

I do not want to waste one second to wait for the order or the cancellation call. I just want my money back.

When Lowe's first came to our community, Scotland County, Customer Service was awesome. Now that they have successfully closed any competition, the local small businesses, Lowe's customer service stinks. Bought carpet and padding two days ago, went to pick it up and spent two hours waiting for someone to cut and load it into my vehicle. How ridiculous! The company thinks my time isn't important. My advise, shop somewhere else.

Lowes is terrible
June 27, 2017

Hard to find a worker that wants to help u or even knows anything about the department ur asking about... That's lowes! Then when I go to leave a negative review on a horrible product online it does not let me. I swear they don't let your review go through if you rate something 1 star. They are a crooked business

June 26, 2017

Ten weeks after E-mailing my invoice per Lowe's request from repairs I payed someone else on installed door from Lowe's that there guy never came back to fix. I got a cash refund from the Muncie store on amount I payed the other person. After many phone calls and two trips to Lowe's. Lowe's you are the lowest. Glad we also have a Menards in Muncie, thats where I will be shopping from now on.

Lowes is sending their IT jobs to India. Why should American citizens buy from them? Incredibly stupid managerial decision.

Cancelled Order
June 23, 2017

I ordered a Samsung refrigerator from Lowes on June 4,2017. The web site indicated that it would be delivered June 16 but I did not hear from them. I called and they told me it would be delivered on June 22. The evening of June 21 Lowes called me to let me know my order would be delivered. On the morning of the 22nd someone called and told me that my fridge did not come in and that it would be July 8th before I could get it. I spoke to numerous people at Lowes, the assistant manager tried to be helpful but he wasn't able to get any real answers, the first customer service rep was polite. He told me the fridge had shipped from the manufacturer that day and would take 3 - 5 days to reach their distribution center and then another week to get to the store so the store could deliver it. This fridge could have been shipped across country in a shorter period of time. The customer service rep could not even cancel the order he had to switch me to someone else. The person that I was transferred to could not cancel the order and was not helpful at all. He indicated that the store would have to do that and that they would call me but they never did call. Lowes needs to inform customers when an item is out of stock and what the lead time is for getting it in. Instead they continue to give you false hope and false dates for delivery. Needless to say I will not be purchasing anything from Lowes again. Today there are to many choices for shopping to deal with a company that can not meet customer expectations.

Lowes, get your act together.

Your system of delivery is not efficient. You should be giving these manufacturers enough business that they would drop ship items like this for you.

Your customer service reps should have the authority to cancel orders and make decisions to save an order it possible.

Keep customers informed of out of stock, special orders and delays to orders.

Don't charge credit cards until the item has actually shipped to the customer. I was charged the day I ordered the item and have had to pay interest on something I am not going to get.

We ordered items that we need to replace our back porch, we originally ordered materials from Home Depot, but some of the items they did not have in stock so we contacted Lowes on Monday. Order went ok, told us they will call us to tell us the delivery date, the same with Home Depot, Lowes did not call us back. When called Lowes to confirm the delivery date. Was told to call next day which was Wednesday. Called Wednesday, was told to call the next morning (Thursday). Called Thursday morning, was told the material is being loaded on the truck now should be there in a couple of hours. Several hours past, called again, was told the material was never loaded on the truck, the manager got on, said she is looking into it and will call us back. Nothing, called the same night, same freaking thing, will call us back. Home Depot was a lot smoother, at least they told me the truth that the items will be delivered in about 3 days. Horrible experience, only I will be from Lowes is maybe batteries in case of emergency, left a bad taste in my mouth.

Last week, l went into Lowes with my mother in law to by a toilet seat, to fix her toilet. After picking from those we saw, we bought it on her credit card, and left. While attaching the seat the never loosen bolt snapped on the bottom, not the top where the wrench was supposed to be, so l took it back. The manager asks if something is wrong. I say, yes it's broken. He says It's back on YOUR card, like I'm trying to scam someone. Now l admit l was in jeans and a white tee from working on the toilet, wtf? I'm sure they saw guys in work clothes before. So I walked back to the toilet seats, and I stood there for several minutes a few associates walking past the aisle but not one coming down I finally see the manager and I say excuse me may I get some service back here please? Someone will be with you in one second, he says. 13 minutes later I still hadn't seen anyone and when I went down to look there wasn't a single associate around. Now it's not like five separate people came in the store all the sudden the store was empty as you know I was when I walked in. So I decide to walk out and on my way out I told the girl at the service desk to forget sending an associate back to plumbing, because I was going to Home Depot, where they care about disabled customers! I went up to the service desk at Home Depot told them what I needed they said wait right here will go get the parts for you and bring them here. I got the parts in no time flat. Never go to Lowes they get 0 stars out of 5!

I was at the Wheeling, WV store where I ordered kitchen cabinets, appliances, etc. for a home I was redoing. My plans changed, and I cut back the order substantially leaving a balance that Lowe's needed to credit to my account of approximately $4,000. It has been over a month, and I still have not received the credit. Instead I get excuses of why the money has not been credited. Both the project specialist and the store manager avoid even talking to me. I am to the point where I will be talking to their regional manager to see what I can do. DO NOT order home improvements from them because it will be a bad experience. I will only do business with Home Depot in the future.

Purchased a new Samsung Convection Gas Range at Coeur d Alene, ID Lowes. Sales people were friendly and helpful in advising on range operation, cleaning tips and setting up delivery and haul away service. Delivery guys were amazing, careful and courteous when time came to deliver our range. I've had great experience dealing with this location of Lowes. Cheers

I have been a regular customer of Lowes for years. Not anymore. My wife and I went in the Flowood MS store to purchase a $200 kitchen faucet only to set off a green theft alarm and to be treated as a thief for doing it. Lowes can kiss my business good bye. Maybe Home Depot won't treat me like $#*! for TOUCHING a box. Unbelivable!

I go to a Lowe's store in Fort Myers, Florida. They give me a 10% military discount when I show my Florida DL w/ Veteran's indicator. The nearby Home Depot requires a VA card (which is against VA policy) which I don't have. Ace Hardware recognizes my DL as well. A Lowe's in Cape Coral does not give the discount based on my DL. Different stores apparently have different policies. Today I got notice that Lowe's will manage my veteran's status on my account on their website. Hoorah. I shall make even more effort to show at Lowe's as much as possible. I purchased a complete kitchen appliance set in December and a kayak during the summer from them due to their veterans policy. Thank my fellow veterans for their service.

I ordered a Frigidaire AC that was supposed to arrive on a certain date. The shipment arrived later than the "expected delivery date", but I let that slide. I look at the box and it says GE and has a picture of a mini fridge on it! I am in utter disbelief. The packing slip states the order was for an AC and yet whoever shipped this order, obviously did not pay much attention! I figured Lowe's would be more than helpful in fixing up the situation considering it was 100% their fault. This package arrived a week ago and I have been trying to contact them since! I was finally contacted back by customer service and was told that the manager (of the Lowes that it was shipped at would call me within 24 hours-that never happened). I told them I don't want anything, just to get this mini fridge out of my house and refund me my money for the AC I never received! They told me I could return it at the local Lowes (I don't know how that would be possible considering the receipt I have is for an AC and the item I would be returning would be a mini fridge!)-Also, I am recovering from ankle surgery and definitely cannot load and carry a mini fridge- hence why I purchased online and opted for DELIVERY. I am extremely upset, annoyed and in disbelief at how horribly Lowe's has handled this problem. I Will NEVER shop with Lowes again!

On March 13 we ordered new front door through the Lowe's projects office. We were told it would 2 or 3 weeks for the door to arrive. We were given an arrival date and told would recalled upon arrival. We passed this on to our installation contractor. The date came and went- no call from Lowe's. I went to the store. They told the delivery was delayed by the vendor. They gave me a new delivery date. That date came and no call. Again I went to the store. They were not helpful but told me they would check on the door and call us. We got no cal for 2 days so we called the store. They said they would check. Later that day (19 April) Lowe's called and told us through some mistake the door was never ordered. We waited for over a month for them to tell us this!

Draw your own conclusion. I will not use Lowe's again.

My husband and I went to Lowes to buy carpet. It was a quick job for a small room. We waited 45 minutes along with several other customers in the carpet department for someone to help us. Finally someone comes over to wait on us. Long story short, we decided on some carpet they had in stock. We paid 35$ for a guy to come and measure. He comes and measures a day later. Now we were guaranteed an install within 72 hours. No one called us to let us now how much it was going to cost so we could pay for it. I called several times over the course of two days and NO ONE answered the phone! I went over to find out what was going on. I waited another 45 minutes for someone to help me. Finally a guy comes that doesn't even work in that department and tells me that the guy who measured didn't fax in the price yet. Then a manager of the carpet department named PJ shows up and calls the guys and he said he would put the price in by 4 pm that day. I come back over at 6pm because no one would answer the phone and once again no one was there that worked in that department! So the manager brings in someone to look it up. We find out that the guy who took the measurements once again never faxed over the estimate! So they leave a note on the desk and tell me to call again tomorrow! So the next day I go over and wait again for 45 minutes. NO ONE was there! Now I am torched! So the manager brings in yet another guy who shows me all of the paperwork faxed over in the last 3 days for customers and went though every one of them looking for mine which was once again, not there! I leave and call again. I spoke with a manager and someone at customer service who told me that someone went in and CANCELLED my order! I never cancelled it nor did my husband! Someone in the flooring department did! The manager said she would get to the bottom of it and call me back in 10 minutes. She never called me back! So today I go there again only to wait in line for a half hour to find out that my order was cancelled and they knew nothing about what was going on! I had them credit my card for the 35$ they charged me to have the jerk who measured my carpet come, and walked out. This store is located in Pocono Mountain PA. NEVER again will I spend money at Lowes. And we have spent thousands! They lost our business! Everyone gave us the run around and no one could tell me why the contractor wouldn't just fax over the estimate! They never answer the phone and all that happened was a bunch of wasted gas and my time! WORST Customer Service EVER! All they did was waste my time and tell me, "I don't know." But no one even bothered to find out! Apparently the only people they hire are idiots who don't feel like doing their job! Screw that! We are done with them!

I got a quote for special order exterior door & sidelighs + a patio door. It seemed like a good deal with15% off at the time. I had to get my HOA to approve before I could order. The sales person assured me he would honor all the sale discounts. Once I got HOA approval on 4/5, I've called and left messages 4 times and gone to the store 3 Times to complete the transaction and still have not gotten anyone to help me. The original sales person has not been available and no one else can find the quote I spent 2 hrs on. It's about 25 miles round trip from my house, so I have wasted time and gas. I am going to pay a little more and go with a private distributor for my Therma Tru and Pella doors. I'm not going to beg Lowes to take my $3000. The customer service and follow-up has been horrible at the Mansell Rd, Alpharetta, Ga location.

Carries very different products then its competitor. Some better some not. Staff at the Lowes we shop at not the most helpful or knowledgeable for when you want to get in an get out quickly. Offers alot more in home decor rather than building materials. Has a good selection of large kitchen appliances. Not great for online purchasing with delivery for our business buying needs.

Not the best website
March 31, 2017

I bought a new oven at Lowes.com, after reading reviews and doing cost comparisons. The oven was on sale at a great price, with the promise of free home delivery and installation. On the delivery day, I received a phone call from an employee saying that they were on the way to my house. He then told me that he can't disconnect or reconnect a gas stove (which is the type we use). How is that free delivery and installation?! It worked out more-or-less OK. I cancelled the order and told him not to deliver it. Full refund. But still.
