Do NOT trust their delivery date! Online management of account does not function properly. Phone menus a nightmare to navigate to an actual person. Ordered a shower door in store. Delivery was delayed 2 times. Dumb me went back and ordered a refrigerator 4/15/19 online this time. Delivery supposed to be 4/30/19 (btw: Home Depot promises 10 days). Received call said refrig was not on truck so won't make original delivery (When you talk to them it's like they never know what's on the truck until it arrives, they open it, and unload it). Delivery delayed 2 more days. I was supposed to get phone call the day before to let me know delivery time. NO Phone call. Now here we are on the day of second scheduled delivery and i have no idea if they are coming. Door hinge on old refrig has degraded to the point that the doors are literally falling off. The magnetic seal is helping to hold them on! If I don't hold it carefully when I open the door it will fall to the floor. I Don't know how much longer I can last! It is taking every ounce of self control to refrain from typing profanities. Lowes' Online system won't let me change my password on my lowes account - yes i am following the password instructions/requirements.
Never again Lowes! What a huge waste of time this has been. Learn from my mistakes.
They lost my appliance. Lost it. Delayed delivery a week. Told me about the delay on the day it was supposed to be delivered. Not helpful in fixing the issue and were not nice either. Do not use them. They suck.
We ordered a fridge, washer and dryer for our new home where we currently do not have these appliances. The items were to be sent to our local Lowe's store and then delivered to our home. It has been an extreme inconvenience to our family to have to wait for these appliances to come in which has taken much longer than expected. We received very little notice on the day and time for delivery, plus they didn't even verify the day and time with us before setting it. What if we had not been home? It does not make sense to arrive with these appliances when you didn't check with the homeowner first to make sure they were available. Luckily I had no plans and would be home the day of delivery. I do have to say that the 2 men that installed my washer and fridge were great. They were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and respectful of my home. My second complaint is my dryer, which I still do not have yet! We received a phone call that our dryer is lost and cannot be found by Lowe's. No apologies from anyone about this inconvenience! Just a phone call saying they had to reorder it and it'll be in later. No one took responsibility for this mistake and now I have to wait again for another last minute notice on a delivery day and time, and hope that I'll be home. This is a horribly inefficient way to run a business. I will be sure to take my business elsewhere in the future as well as recommend anyone but Lowe's to friends and family when they need to make an appliance purchase.
Do not use Lowe's for hurricane replacement windows. Eastern windows has an inferior product. I have been dealing with them thru Lowe's to replace windows that they installed that are so apparently defective for 6 months. The windows/glass passed QA twice by Eastern and they were still installed. $10,5000 worth of defective product. I sincerely caution you to not use Lowe's or Eastern windows for this type of product. Curious to see if this is posted.
We purchased a refrigerator from Lowe's in Woodstock, GA. When it was delivered the delivery guys told us there was slight damage to one of the doors. I was at work so my son called me. I told him I didn't want a damaged refrigerator. My son called them and told them the issue and asked them to hold one for us. He asked if they still had the floor model. He was told they don't sell the floor model. What do they do with them? Throw them away?! We returned to the store that night to get another one on order. There were none to be found (if they really even checked). My son asked them where the floor model was and was told they sold it! My son told me that the damage was barely noticeable and that the handle should cover it when installed. We agreed to have it redelivered the next day. Our refrigerator sits between two cabinets on a 4 inch ledge. They said they couldn't install it. They left it in my garage. Back to Lowes we go to ask if they could send a contractor out to get it installed. They told us to call porch.com. I did. They said they couldn't bring it upstairs OR set it up on the 4" high ledge. How can a building supply company that has contractors that do complete kitchen renovations not be able to install one stupid refrigerator. I will never make the mistake of shopping at Lowe's again. Oh... we are planning on doing a kitchen remodel. Guess who won't even be considered for the job!
Hello, I would like to share my annoyance and disappointment with my dealings with the local Lowes. I bought a samsung dishwasher and installed it myself. It worked great for 3 months but then dishes were left dirty in the top rack, it seemed to be throwing the dirty water around and leaving food in tall glasses especially. I called samsung to try and use the warranty but apparently because I installed it, this makes it so you could not use the warranty, which Lowes did not mention at all during the purchase! Called samsung again and apparently, I need to get a lowes worker to come and sign off on the instillation which they want around 180$ for this... ridiculous as this should be a very fast process. But whatever gave in and set up appointment and paid the fee. My father disconnected the dishwasher to take a look while we were waiting as well. Well today was the day of the appointment and they dont even show up. I had to get someone to actually sit at my home 12-5 today as I work, and no one shows up, not even a call. I called lowes around 5 and did not even get a real apology, just we dont know what happend you will be called a different day to reschedule goodbye. I felt the worker was very short brief and a little rude. So now I still have a unhooked dishwasher, and have to wait for an entirely new appointment to be made and get someone to be at the house again for this. This whole experience has been a waste of time and I will not be recommending this location in the future.

T NOW THYE SAID THEY WILL COME SATURDAY WSH ME LUCK! I PICKED OUT A STOVE MICROWAVE OVEN AN DISHWASHER JUST CXLED THAT... I GOT MEAURED FOR A KITCHEN FLOOR THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK THE FLOOR WILL OST 441 TO BY ITLL COST 1400 DOOLARS W INSTALLTION 79.99 IS WHT THEY WANT TO MOVE MY WASHER AND DRYER 112.00 FOR TAPE THE CRAZY LIST GOES ON... NEXT PEOPLE TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS! HAT A WAIST OF TIME
We bought a cultivator from Lowe's. After just shy of two months, and on only the second time we used it, the machine was difficult to start and smoked when it did. Lowe's would not return our money, provide a replacement or give us the credit towards another product.
We now know why Lowe's calls themselves Lowe's: Low Quality, Low Customer Service, Low Standards. Go somewhere else, worst case, no matter who it iseven on their worst days they are head and shoulders above the LOW stature of LOWe's.
We picked out vinyl plank flooring at Lowe's today and were all set to have them install it. After we got home I decided to look up reviews on Keller Interiors, the contractor who does all Lowe's flooring, apparently. After reading horrible stories from all over the country, we chickened out and went back to the store to cancel the order. We may have to pay more, but using a local flooring store who does their own installing is a better deal for us.
I have been renovating my house. After stopping in several times for small common items only to be told, "we're out of that" I don't bother anymore. I should have stopped going long ago. When I went in to price kitchen cabinets, only to find no one around, I could hear the staff having a great time in the back, returning from lunch. When they came, out not one said a word to me. When I enquired, they couldn't find the cabinet person and no one knew where she was. Convenient? Yes. Worth my time? Only for drywall mud. (its close to the door).
Worst ever! I've been emailed about my delivery on March 17. I've been told twice by employees my delivery is March 17. I was told I'd get a call the day before. No call was made by Lowe's. I wait all day for my deiivery on March 17th and called to check why my delivery has not come and was told "WE DONT EVEN HAVE DELIVERY TRUCKS GOING OUT TODAY! THEY HAVE DEFINITELY LOST A CUSTOMER. If I need to buy about washer dryer or refrigerator, it will not be bought from Lowe's. I had too much to do today and my day is wasted. Not even a call to tell me they need to reschedule. Just treat the customer any kind of way. Not good.
I was a long time Lowe's customer and had many services completed by them. I gave them a fairly simple fence project to complete for the front of my home. They botched the entire process well before the installation. They wasted 6 months of my time because of incompetence with securing a city permit and not following through at every step in the process. Even the people at headquarters lack professionalism in solving problems. I will not be buying anything else from Lowe's.
If I could write a "0" I would... horrible communication... time ageeenents not kept after numerous calls... finally spoke with management... driver contacted me to inform me of time of delivery which was outside of what I had been promised... this will impact my future business with Lowes. I will likely use Menards or Home Depot
I have to comment on Lowes delivery service... POOR, POOR, POOR. Customer service horrible! Lowes showed up at my door wanting to deliver the washing machine the day after I ordered it online - No phone call, text or email letting me know a delivery time or day, just a knock on my door. Having to leave for an appointment, I tried calling Lowes to set up a new delivery date (that I was aware of) and when that date came, no Lowes. Called Lowes again and they set up delivery for next day - they showed up but with a defective washer they had to return to store. I will never shop with this company again and I warn anyone needing an appliance to beware of their delivery team. In my 20 years of purchasing appliances from other companies, I have never experienced such a bad service. Purchased same washer from another company with no problems. Lowes, you really stink!
I ordered a new bathroom floor install from this Lowes (NW Hwy, Dallas) and it was a struggle from start to finish -- if they had actually finished that is... Eventually, I was forced to fire this Lowes after they refused to listen, coordinate, and ultimately work the job. You'd think it was the first bathroom floor they'd ever seen as they struggled mightily to overcome such obstacles as: the bid, the materials, toilets, bathtubs, patchwork, molding, and subfloors. I ended up taking over the job myself and knocked it out in 1 day after wasting 4 weeks trying to work with Loews. Do yourself a favor, do the work yourself, even if you know nothing about flooring, you'll still know more than this Lowes.
Walked entire store to find an employee for assistance. Finally after spending 15min I found a Lowe's employee but he wasn't working in the area I needed help with so he proceeded to show me the help button. Waited another 15 min until an employee arrived yelling at me and asking what I wanted and why I used the help button. I was aghast at the fact he was yelling at me that I just asked his name and proceeded to find a manager to report what just happened and that took another 20 min. He listened and wanted me to write him an email. Called cooperate office. No return call. Have been a customer of Lowe's for many years but no more! Absolutely by far the worst experience in customer service I have ever experienced!
DO NOT GET MAJOR APPLIANCES FROM LOWES!
What a TERRIBLE experience. I ordered a dishwasher from Lowe's.com.
First inconvenience: it took a month to get in!
Second inconvenience: 3 days prior to delivery I get an email saying my delivery window is 8am - 8pm. I guess I don't have a life? It wasn't until the morning of the delivery that they called to say they would be arriving within the hour.
Third inconvenience: They didn't offer to take the old dishwasher. The delivery men just said, "sorry, you didn't pay for it." Come to find out, after calling customer service, that's it's only a $20 charge, and they could have done it. Instead, we had to wait another 3 days for them to come back.
Fourth inconvenience: no install. This could very well have been an oversight on my part, but I don't think the online ordering process warned me about what no install really means. The dishwasher came without a power supply. Obviously, not quite plug and play.
Overall: I got the feeling that I paid about $700 for a pile of crap to just be dumped on my doorstep. Now, if I wanted to clean it up I have to wait longer and pay more.
I will NEVER order anything online from Lowe's again, or even think about getting another major appliance from them.
JUST TERRIBLE! I wish I could give a negative rating, but unfortunately 1 is the lowest I can go.
In late July 2018 I contacted Lowes to purchase and install two vanity tops in my bathrooms. Due to manufacturing defects, installation delays, and lack on in store communication, the installation was finally completed on Jan 10,2019. Partway through the process (Oct-Nov) I spoke with my salesman expressing concern that I had not had any contact from a store manager, and that the $100 gift card the salesman offered me (probably the extend of his authority) was pretty much an insult. Later that day, I was contacted by a person identifying himself as a store manager. In our conversation he offered me compensation that I would be credited the cost of one of the vanity tops. After another two months the installation was finally completed, the overall store manager is now reneging on that compensation. Today I've learned the store manager claims he and the district manager have tried to contact me multiple times this week, while both caller id and voicemail indicated I have not been contacted by anyone from Lowes, except for ONE call in response to my contact. It is now quite apparent that this Lowes store is now trying to sweep the whole issue under the rug... after a simple purchase and installation took over FIVE months to complete. Use caution when dealing with this store, especially where management is involved. This is the store on Wilmington Pike in Dayton OH.
Don't give them a credit app because they will no doubt lie about it and defraud you if they find out you are a veteran. I have a credit score of over 750 with the 3 top companies in America but Lowe's come back and tells me it is less than 450. How is it everyone but Lowe's finds my credit as excellent but them. How can they be anything other than liars. I have an open account with Rural King for over 10 thousand dollars and 2 car payments now as well as I have a credit card with Penny's and Home Depot and Tractor Supply.

Answer: If you contract with Lowe's, Lowe's is the general contractor. You signed the contract with Lowe's, not with his subcontracted retailer or installer. Lowe's will try to push the responsibility downstream and require you to take it up with him, but in the end, Lowe's is responsible.
