Don't ever use Lowes promotional no interest for a year. They will try to scam you. They put their no interest items on the same credit card account as when you purchase other items that are not part of the promotion, then if it's the entire balance is not paid off in full they say you have to pay the interest. This happened to me twice in the first 3 months of a no interest promotion for year. They were trying to charge me interest on the appliances I bought that were not supposed to have interest on them for 12 months. This place is a joke. I used to work at Lowes and I will never go back to work here, nor will I buy ANYTHING from here again.

UPDATE ON MY REFRIGERATOR... I BOUGHT MY REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL ON 3/19/2019 AS SOON I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS FIRST WITH THE ICE MAKER MAKING MORE ICE THAN IT SHOULD AND WAS FLOWING OVER THE MANUFACTURE CAME OUT AND FIX IT NOW I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE DOOR LIGHT BEEPING SOUND AND FLASHING LIGHTS THEN THE LIGHTS GOES OUT WHEN THIS HAPPENS. I CHECK ALL DOORS AND IS CLOSED TIGHTLY BUT MY CONCERN IS THEY KEEP COMING OUT AND CHECK IT AND FINDS NOTHING, SO I FEEL THIS REFRIGERATOR THAT I PAID OVER $4,000 DOLLARS AND SOME CHANGE FOR IS EITHER REFURBISH OR DEFECTIVE AND NO ONE WANTS TO DO NOTHING ABOUT THIS BY REPLACING IT, I FEEL I NEED MY MONEY BACK OR A REPLACEMENT IF THIS IS ALL I KEEP DOING IS CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR REPAIRS ON THE SAME ISSUE IN LESS THAN 1 YEAR IF THIS IS ALL I AM DOING CONTINUES TO CALLING THEM ON A WEEKLY BASIS FOR THIS

Waste of time
February 24, 2020

Lowe's adversities that they have a military discount. When you get there with your I.d. and you haven't went to Lowe's and registered they completely waste your time. I had Enrique at the register argue with me about my discount and we waited on a manager for 10 minutes with people in line for a 5.80 military discount I was promised.

October 2019 I purchased Allen & Roth kitchen laminate flooring from Lowes. It was installed November 2019. In December the floor began swelling, buckling and coming up. There were no spills on the floor that were not cleaned up immediately. If this flooring is not suitable for a kitchen they should not have sold it to us. The installer measured our kitchen before the purchase, they knew it was being installed in a kitchen. We now have to purchase a new floor after only a couple of months. Lowes will not help us in any way.

First of all the stores are filthy. I wanted to grab a snack from the shelves by the register and the shelves were COVERED in mouse droppings and chewed open snack packages. Secondly, you can't find an employee anywhere when you need one.
The managers at the service desk are unbelievably lazy. When I was there they had one cashier. She has a line of at least 10 people. No one jumped on a register to help. In fact one manager was sitting in a chair and never even moved to help.

We bought a stove from Lowes in December, 2019. Lowes told us it was in stock and it would be delivered within 3 weeks. After 4 weeks, we called and asked where our stove was and it was on back order which means we weren't going to get it until February. Lowes then calls us back the next day saying we would not get it until mid-March. We decided to buy a different stove and were refunded for our original purchase. Our stove was delivered a few weeks later and the delivery department said the installation department would call us in 2 to 3 days. TEN days go by before I had to call and ask what was going on. Installation said they were never told that we returned our original purchase and ordered a new stove. The delivery department stated that they could leave the stove in our garage and the installation people would bring it into the house. The installation people stated the delivery people would have to come back to bring the stove into the house since they could not do it themselves. So now we have an installation date scheduled but no word from the delivery team to see if they will actually have our stove in the right place before the install team comes out. This has been the WORST experience we have ever had. We wanted to do our entire kitchen remodel through Lowes and now I will never step foot in their store again. They have the worst communication and costumer service I have ever experienced. Save yourself a headache and choose a different store.

Nightmare kitchen

Do not buy your kitchen here. I would have given 0 stars if it were an option. The design was good professionally done and that's where it ended. Once they get your money you are forgotten. The install team did nothing. I became the project manager making all the calls coordinating the cabinet install company with the counter top company. They measured wrong so I get a call from Lowes that there was a up charge, mind you the only call I received in a month and for them wanting more money. I went in that night and paid the difference for the counter tops Lowes sat on it for nine days putting my countertops off for three more weeks. On top of that they forgot to order the scribe moulding which delayed the cabinets to be finished 3 weeks. What I have is a kitchen I've made 3 payments on and just cabinets screwed into the wall. Then I get a phone call from Lowes about a survey on how I like the kitchen not even knowing it's only half done. I go in to speak to install to have a manager call me still no call. It's like a 3 ring circus please do not use Lowes unless you like to do all the work yourself.

Stopped by the above Lowes to set up appt. For window treatments. They were quick to set up appt to measure. After Gabriel came and measured he said to wait till Lowes called for the next step. This si when the wheels came off. Waited 2 weeks with no call. Finally called them and no one was in the windows treatment dept so I talked to a manager who said he would check into the problem. It has now been another 2 weeks with no call. Don't think they want my business. I CALLED HOME DEPOT and someone is coming tomorrow.

Bought a washer -dryer from a MANGER. Was told it would be delivered in nine days (TODAY) and someone would call on delivery day with a 20-30 minute window. Rearranged our day like a couple of pretzels back and forth all day even roping in outside help to cover gapswaiting for THE CALL. Never happened. Called Lowe's at the end of the day to find out why no one called. Spoke with store manger, Pia, who looked it up in the computer. Apparently they never had the machine they sold us. Computer revealed the Lowe's staff identified the problem A WEEK AGO and asked management how to deal with it. CRICKETS! So they never reached out; they just waited for us to call in with a problem. NICE... So now we MAY get our machines in ANOTHER 5-7 business days (now14-16 days later). Got them to give us $50 off the replacement but would prefer to have received our stuff today. Lowe's implied we should feel lucky. Really?!?!

Order pre-hung french doors and received a delivery date 2 days before the delivery was to take place. On the date of delivery I called in the early morning to the Lowes that was fulfilling the order. After a few minutes on hold while they confirmed the order they told me they had not received the doors yet. Here we were waiting for the delivery which was never going to happen. They still have not given us a confirmed delivery update. Lowes is not a company ready to fulfill customer online orders. Look elsewhere.

Delivery became personal

Ordered new washer/dryer. Suppose to come in several days later. Received a phone call saying we needed to postpone delivery date by a day or more. Changed date for a few days after original one that was told wouldn't work. They showed up anyways, I was at work not expecting them to show up on the account they said it wasn't an option and had already rescheduled for the next week. Got a call from the store a few days later confirming the pick up day and an estimated time. I was delivery #3 out of 9 on the daily schedule. Took work off, they never showed. Called CS around 11am to confirm I was still on schedule. They confirmed I was. Called again at 4:30. Apparently the delivery guy had gone home and never picked up his phone. Not knowing when they'll call me back they promised they would. Delivery coordinator who called me originally would be off until Wednesday(currently await order for Monday). Will never do business with Lowes again. This feels personal although it was 100% lack of communication on behalf of Lowes and their employees. Do not bother ordering from this major corporation!

Deceiving web site

Picked a vanity out on web site that said was in stock at local Lowe's for pick up, when going through check out changed to delivery only and charged me a $65.00 delivery charge. Called to ask and was told item would not be stocked in local store. Checked web site before delivery and site showed 2 in stock at my local store so now I felt I was forced to pay a delivery charge when could have picked up locally. There customer service was no help other than saying sorry that I felt deceived. Be a cold day in hell before doing business with them people again!

Faulty door installation
January 25, 2020

I purchased two replacement sliding glass doors and had Lowe's install them. The installer named John came to our house and said he has never done doors that big (8') so he installed them 3 inches inside the house placing them on top of the existing tile floor which raise the doors and created a weird step. I fell going out the doors hurting my back and my head. I call our local Gloucester, VA store and they directed me to contact corporate office to get the matter resolved. That was 6 months ago. I have been in contact with Eddie Woods manager of installation for the district. The man called the original installer and asked him if the installation was correct so John said it was. That is pretty much what Eddie Woods has to go on. He refuses to have someone come and correct the issue. I have sent pictures, and video. Nothing has been done. The doors
Can not be safely used. If there is a fire in the house we can not go out those doors without risking harm. The doors cost $3600
The manager Eddie Woods has been nothing but rude to me. He has said to me that the installer says that the did a good job so he concludes it is fine.
Lowe's would not stand behind their installation.
If anyone has any suggestions please reply.

Bait and switch

Bought a vanity through Lowes and I drove 1 hour and 41 minutes one way to pick it up. Another 1 hour and 41 minutes to go back home. I opened the box to find a broken vanity. I am disabled with surgery on back and neck from car wreck. Someone t-boned me and my truck flipped and rolled several times. Back is in constant pain. So this trip to pick it up about killed me. Called Lowes and they wanted me to drive over 3 hours round trip to exchange it. This is not the first time that I had this same problem with Lowes. Last summer I bought an expensive door with blinds in it and they delivered me a door with scratches and dents all over it. Had other same issues with other items as well as I am remodeling my house and spent ALOT of money at Lowes. Now I have a bathroom ripped up, that I can't use until they exchange the vanity. So my remodeling the bathroom is at a standstill as I am at the mercy of waiting God knows how many days, weeks for Lowes to exchange it. Buyer beware if you shop at Lowes.

Terrible Customer Service - Wass suppose to get my appliances on Saturday01/09/20 never showed up with the items. They called and confirmed that the items were in stock but after I talked to them they said not all items were in stock.

Hot water installation

I purchased a hot water tank 3 weeks ago in the springfield mass store and had to have them install it because mine was leaking bad. They told me it was 800.00 to install it told them that was a ridiculous amount to charge. Being i had no choice i said ok. Lowes should up with only one guy to install it and i landing up having to help him remove the old one because he couldnt do it by himself. At 62 years old and after paying this ridiculous amount i shouldnt have to get involved with the installation. When i called corporate to complain i was told by the woman i spoke to the situaction and she agreed telling me i would hear from someone to fix this situation. I got an email from a Chad thomas a installation customer care rep and he told me i was $#*! out of luck. I told him i will never purchase another thing at lowes. WARNING to all! NEVER HAVE LOWES INSTALL ANYTHING! THEY WILL OVER CHARGE YOU!.

I purchased a double wall oven from Lowes and it was improperly installed on December 15,2019. Immediately following the installation, I contacted Lowes and explained how the Michael & Sons installers failed to install the double wall over properly. It has been an uphill battle trying to get Lowes to resolve this issue. I have endured infinite rounds of customer service calls. The bottom line is if you are looking for Lowes to ensure you are a satisfied customer, please spend your money elsewhere.

We bought a dryer after our old one started making a horrenous noise. It was scheduled for today, January 7th to come in for delivery. So we have two dogs, and one actually managed to escape. Of course, dog catcher is not in their job description, and both of the delivery people helped me get my dog back and outside in the backyard. Of course, they then proceeded to take our old dryer out then put the new one in and set it up. Both of them are truly angels.
