Lowe's, as others have decided to give all PPE away, and screwing the general public with NOTHING. It is the GOVERNMENTS JOB to provide PPE, not Lowe's. I'm sure the corporate scumbags have plenty for them, and their families, as the rest of us have NOTHING.

I had always thought Lowe's was a great home improvement store, and while they may have plenty of satisfied customers I'm not one of them. I ordered a basketball hoop for my kids on March 30th hoping to replicate some of the activity they got while attending school that's been cancelled for COVID-19. I received a confirmation on my order and then the shipping date came and went. I did receive an email from them letting me know the shipment was delayed but it would arrive after the anticipated date. That delivery date came and went so I called customer service and they let me know that the Silverback hoop I purchased was out of stock and they would not receive anymore for over a month and a half. No offer to help with the resolution, or find another hoop, just said we can refund your money. My kids who had been looking forward to the hoop for an entire month, that which I had promised for all the home studying work as a reward, was not coming. I got to be the dad that broke his promise and the customer service rep for Lowe's really couldn't care less. Amazon or Home Depot for me from now on. I won't ever set foot in one of their stores again.

We were in the middle of a garage to accessory apartment conversion when Covid19 hit. To give benefit of the doubt to Lowe's located in Midlothian, VA our experience may have been different under regular circumstances. However, the last time we were in that location and asked a staff member for recommendations between two brands their reply was, " I don't know, just call a plumber". We ordered a truck delivery of drywall supplies to finish the ceilings for kitchen areas that have exposed insulation with a scheduled delivery date of Tuesday. Saturday morning and still no one has returned our multiple calls to reschedule, cancel or provide refund. After an hour + call a pleasant customer service agent from the corporate office this morning still couldn't provide refund or confirm a new delivery date. She was only able to "leave a message" for the Midlothian location to please call us. she couldn't get anyone to answer the phones there even from corporate customer care. Screenshot of wait time and numbers called below.

I put in an online order so that I could avoid being in contact with too many people. I was emailed that it was ready, but when I arrived at Lowe's to pick it up.---What a FUSTERCLUCK! It is as if the company does not realize that we need to social distance at all. There is no curbside service, and the desk that used be available for pick ups right inside the door was gone. I was told that I needed to wait in the 30+ person line of people that were all standing FAR closer that 6 feet to one another. I turned around and walked out and will probably have to relinquish my order. As a devote customer and stock holder, I was shocked at the lack of foresight on the part of the Citrus Heights locations. There is a large area behind the store that could specifically be used as a curbside drive up pick up for customers that would allow for a much more sane and safe approach to a very possible deadly situation.

Manager Melissa needs to be fired. She is completely unprofessional and lacks courtesy to customers. I have since cancelled my Lowes charge because of the Newton store and their unprofessionalism. I will shop at Home depot now. REGIONAL MANAGER NEEDS TO REVIEW THE MANAGEMENT TEAM AT THIS STORE.

Corona and lowes
April 7, 2020

Lowe's refused to acknowledge that their packed stores were spreading virus but when they refused to postpone their spring black sale, that validated where their priorities are! My heart goes out to their employees serving rude, selfish, inconsiderate customers buying flowers, ice chest etc. Hope those that have been following rules will remember to shop at Home Depot only after this is over!

I hate to trample upon the voices of the irate, because those justifiably irate voices need to be heard and valued, and their experiences need to be validated. However, Lowes is my favorite stores! I have purchased all sorts of things from Lowes during the past ten years - laminate flooring, window blinds, cabinet handles, washing machine, wall paint, patio decor, fittings for plumbing, light fixtures, garden plants, tools and saws, front door, countertops, hardware, decorative items, cedar wood planks... I LOVE LOWES! I can always find helpful customer service; I can always be directed to the right item or correct location; I can always make a return if needed, no questions asked; Lowe's is pretty much the bomb. I hope I never have a bad experience - anything is possible - but fortunately it hasn't happened yet!

I am appalled Lowes is having this sale, not practicing social distance, you won't even supply associates working with masks or sanitizers. Nothing short of corporate greed!

Lowe's delivered a damaged fridge not once but TWICE to me. Didn't want to exchange it and bring in employees in our house for safety in the midst of this coronavirus outbreak. Tried to call them many times, the first employee would take down my name and phone number, then have to redirect me to someone else. The first time I called them I was given an email to send a picture of the damage, and the employee said he will redirect me to the manager. He hung up on me. Did not receive a reply to the email nor a callback from the manager. The second time I called them they took my address and phone number down and redirected me to an employee. Then I got hung up on. Super unprofessional, doesn't even answer the phone with the company's name. Also phone call keeps sending me back to the menu option even after I press a number on the key. Employees don't know how to do their job and always have to redirect you to the manager. Often times they don't even redirect you properly and send you to the wrong department. I've had to ping pong back and forth between departments because they just don't want to take my call. Third time I tried to call them they kept redirecting me to the wrong people, and then just hung up on me. I just want part of my money back because I know in stores they sell damaged appliances for discounted prices. Keep in mind I've spent THOUSANDS of dollars here already for appliances because I've recently moved. Don't even waste your time calling. They are not here to help you.

I never leave negative reviews, however, I am tired of Lowes bait & switch practices (which is illegal). They advertise an item on their website on sale and when the item is added to your cart it becomes full price. This is the second time it's happened. Called Lowes Customer Service & the customer service agent tried to rectify the situation by offering a discount after I emailed a screenshot of the sale item online. When she called her supervisor, Richard Miller in Indiana, for approval he denied it stating a screen shot isn't sufficient. I spoke to another supervisor, Dom (ID # *******) who claimed the situation did not qualify for any discount and the price in the cart was correct, not the advertised sale price. He was also going to speak with the customer service rep for offering a discount of which she did not have the authority to do so. I told Dom the rep was trying to find a solution and not to chastise her. After I got off the phone, the item was still advertised on sale. Am going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Will NEVER purchase anything at Lowes and will keep supporting Home Depot!

We were 1 day late returning $200 items during CV29 lockdown. Lowe's has a 90 day policy, no exceptions. We even offered to do an exchange. We both are in the vulnerable age group and told to stay at home. We will return all recent purchases and never set foot in their stores again.

Stay away
March 25, 2020

Placed an online order with Lowes on March 2 with due date of March 24, no home delivery, only store pickup option was available. I called on March 17 to check on my order. They told me the product shipped from the supplier on 16th to their store. It will be there on the 18th. I called on 18th. They couldn't find my order and put me on indefinite hold loop to talk to a manager. I walked into the store in the 19th. They told me it will arrive on the 24th but it was clear that they had no tracking information. Called on the 24th. They told me it will be delivered on the 16th. I asked for a manager. He was as lost as the customer service. The only nice thing I have to say about them, they are conveniently located.

Customer services
March 23, 2020

I purchase a Samsung washer from Lowes and a five year protection plan.
I contacted Lowes on Feb 2,2020 to let them know that my washer stopped working. Lowe's sent out a tech to fix the machine. The tech has been out at least four times and has replaced 5 parts and the washers still doesn't work. Supposedly, they need to order an additional part to fix the machine. Lowe's has been telling me since March 10th that the part is in, However, every timeI call Lowe's they said the part is in or is coming in tomorrow. The last time I spoke to customer service representative on March 23,2020 and I was told that I needed wait for the part.
When I asked why is it taking so long for part; I was told most likely it's due to the coronavirus.
The sad part is that My husband and myself have been going to a laundromat since Feb 2 and that was okay; until this very serious pandemic of the coronavirus. I wish Lowe's would set up and do the right thing and replace the washer instead of playing games.

Customer service is horrible and very very slow. I have waited in line for 30 minutes multiple times. Employees at checkouts have attitudes and are super slow and try to multitask and serve multiple people at once instead of checking out one person.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced at the 2121 Capital Circle NE location in Tallahassee. I went there to pick up our order that we paid for in advance online that was shipped to the store, and they claimed it wasn't in the system. Then my wife called back after they told me it wasn't there. They said it was in the system but they couldn't find it. Then we asked if Fedx or UPS was the carrier for their shipments and then at that point the customer service rep looked it up and said "Oh someone did sign for it this morning when Fedx delivered it, so it must be somewhere in the back but we don't know where it is". So they said we'd have to wait two more days and call and speak to the receiving clerk to find out. We asked why can't we come back today and have a manager help us now since we need the item right away? She said no, we'd have to wait. Then two days later we called to speak to the receiving clerk and she was not in for the entire day. So we asked for a manager who listened to our complaint and left us on hold and never came back. We called other departments trying to get someone to help us to no avail. Finally, after five calls someone answered the customer service desk line and said they would try to get a manager to override the system and allow us to come get our purchases. They admitted that someone should have done that two days ago when I came in. We still haven't gotten our items yet, hoping it will be taken care of at some point today. Needless to say, we will never purchase anything else online from that store.

They changed my delivery date 3 times cause I had to sign for my item. So that was 3 wasted days sitting at home waiting for them. Finally the day they said my item was on the truck they gave me a time frame they would show up so I left and got back home 1.5 hours early. They showed up 2.5 hours earlier then I was told. When I called they were basically like well we will c if they will come back. Every time I called they were rude did not apologize for any of there mis information on when they would get here. There costumer service needs to rehire and teach there online staff to b more polite and knowledgeable..

Went into Lowe's for garden supplies and needed help In OSLG ( store 282 Victoria, Tx.) and Jeff helped us with garden soils and plants and planters, then we checked out at main registers in store, and we needed an override on a discounted plant and Kelly from the front end was very nice and fast. I asked for help to load my car and she got me Josh to load and I can not say enough about these 3 people. If every store had people like this I would be a happy shopper.
They all deserve a 10 for a job well done.

Until I gave Lowe's a try for an appliance, I had had nothing but good experiences there. To make a nearly 3-month long story short, the delivery guys showed up with my gas range but could not install it because they had no wrench for the gas fitting. They simply shrugged. The ball was now in my court to reschedule the installation. I kept records of the dozens of calls I made, and the FOUR no-shows by delivery persons that Lowe's each time assured me had been rescheduled (and I stayed home from work waiting around for). I wrote a complaint to the headquarters in NC. Finally, they escalated the complaint to the District Office here in Atlanta, and they sent someone out to install it. I spent more hours on this nightmare than I ever want to have to do again. I'll buy hardware, etc., from Lowe's, but never again appliances.

Dishonesty
March 1, 2020

I purchased a refrigerator at Lowe's that was supposed to be delivered through a third party on 3/01/2020. I received a call the next day about 20 minutes before the 4 hour range they gave me to say that they couldn't deliver because the truck was too full. I told them that I rearranged my schedule and they needed to honor what they said. Then, I received another call saying that it would be delivered today and that they would notify me of the ETA. After the conversation, I received a text confirming when it would arrive. Well, after the scheduled time passed still no delivery. I called the delivery people to see what was going on and they said my order was never put on the truck. So, I called Lowe's back and they said the driver refused to deliver the product. I cancelled the order because at this point trust is broken. The delivery company they use is DSI. Either way it is a bad reflection on both companies especially Lowe's. This shows just how little they value your business. Very disappointed. It doesn't matter if you complain, trust me they don't care.
