Summerville, SC. Lowes has the worst customer service and the store has gone down hill it is the worst. I would recommend not buying anything from this store. They will steal your money and cut and run. The return policy should have better limitations and better employee judgment. I bought a few small items Friday lost my receipt, returned them the next day and they refused to refund my money or at least get me a store credit. First the items were not damaged still in the package and second the cashier was the same cashier when I purchased the items on Friday and remember me which she stated. The items were from that location Summerville, SC and from what I was told I still had so many days allowed to return them but since the computer stated that the items were not allowed to be returned without a receipt the store employee stated she could not give me my money back or a store credit? I told them to keep the items and that she could throw them away because they were no longer needed. She gave me an additute. If anyone should of been upset even when she knew I purchased the items at the store then refused to help me, refund my money or even give me a store credit. To me that is theif and not the first time this has happened. I will no longer use Lowes due to very poor cusyomer service repeatedly at this location, common sense is so hard to find. It has gone downhill and it is just a terrible store with bad employees. I will be using Home Depot from now on across the street. The store was cleaner and with better customer service. Keep stealing money from the customers.

Pitiful liars

I paid $16k in March mind you for a deck. The order sat dormant until I called in May to see when it would be installed. Lie after lie after lie. Please do not use this company for anything. This has caused a great deal of stress i am a sick woman and wanted to enjoy the summer with my family. They lied and said they applied for the permit still no permit has been filed. I just don't know what more to do. I spoke with several people from corporate in Indiana with no resolve. The last lie was the permit was filed 5/26. Spoke with my city council the meeting was 6/7 no permit or plan filed. They meet once a month of which I have told several representatives of Lowes. So we missed May and June. Actually March and April too. The council said it can be rectified with a special meeting requested by Lowes. The ball is still in their court. I just don't understand why they just don't deliver. The salesman has not done his job and neither has Lowes as a company. Pitiful.

I purchased a door the door was a total piece of junk. The worst i have ever seen. I have been a contractor for 27 years. I can't even imagine the idiots you have building them. I will spread the word to whom ever will listen. I had to restructure the whole thing.

Waited 6 weeks for an estimate on a kitchen. Still waiting at this point I'm done. From management to cashiers attitude and customer service is awful. Cashier just reminded me yesterday that Lowe's has plenty of customers without my business. That's the mentality from the top down. Such ashame. Use to love Lowe's now I won't spend a penny in there stores

Lowes Worcester - Buyer Beware! First I tried purchasing appliances online with the delivery option. The transaction would not go through. I called the Worcester location and conducted the transaction. They tried charging me more than the online price. I refused to pay more. They honored the online price and the purchase went ahead. After purchasing a dishwasher, gas stove and refrigerator at Lowes, including old appliance take away. They never called me to let me know my appliances were in. I had to call to get a delivery date with a window of 8am to 8pm. I scheduled my contractor and plummer to come the day after delivery to complete the setup. I took the day off work. They confirmed the delivery the night before shortening the window from 9am to 1pm. I then confirmed with my contractor and plummer. No truck showed up on delivery day, so, I finally called at 1:20 pm to ask about my delivery. That is when I was informed that it would not be delivered. No one bothered to contact me. I was completely floored. If someone had bothered to let me know I could have gone to work and changed my day off. I will also need to reschedule with the contractor and plumber. I have no appliances working because they have been uninstalled for removal. The person on the phone said they would see what could be done to fix the situation and call me back. I am still waiting. I guess I am expected to take another day off. I have no idea when I can get the contractor and plummer back to my house for install. This is incredibly frustrating and very poor practice. I will not be purchasing anything, ever again from Lowes.

My name is Robin Fountain, I ordered a stove from Lowe's in march 2022. It was scheduled for delivery on April 18,2022. I got a call stating the stove was not in, when originally purchased I was told it was in the warehouse. Weeks later I got a call stating the stove was in it would be delivered on May 27,2022, between the hours of (8am to 12 noon) it was after 12, I called to check status of delivery, very nasty customer service, finally the stove arrived, when the guys open the box the stove was dented. It went back to store and they did not order another. I heard from no one, I called the store was put on hold time after time, from one person to another. Been out of a stove for 2 months and Lowe's could not solve the problem or showed no remorse or concern for replacing this $1600 stove. So buyers beware before you purchase from Lowe's. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES! D'IBERVILLE LOWE'S, MS. This purchase was made on my Lowe's Credit Card

On line purchasers beware

Purchased a refrigerator thru Lowes online. The water line on the back of the unit was broke in half when delivered. I was told because it was an online purchase they would have to pick this unit up and I have to purchase another refrigerator to replace this refrigerator. They won't just bring a refrigerator with them and swap out the damaged unit. They also didn't even begin to suggest an under warranty repair. I would be with out a refrigerator for apx 2 weeks and out 4k while waiting for a refund on the previous unit. There should not be different support for online purchases versus in store purchases. They receive the same amount of money either way. Lowes has lost my business.

We bought washer dryer, and mini fridge, the lake city fl store we live an hour and a half away, couldn't pick up at that time as we had driven car, the following day, returned with my 7.3 diesel F 250, to pickup purchases, Well, Surprise... that appliances had been sold to another customer Typical Lowes. I've got 12 hours time 75 dollars in fuel. And a trip to best buy to buy appliances, should have gone there First, The Manager did do what's he's paid to do, repeatedly saying I'm sorry. I'm sorry, lost count how many times. But I do agree, he's Sorry working for an even Sorrier Company, needless to say we will never d o business with them again, not they're concerned. Another victim is in line behind us.

RIPPING PEOPLE OFF

So as a contractor and have spent thousands of dollars over the years, lowes now has changed its return policy, (WHICH IS IN SMALL PRINT) now if you buy any extra paint, you have to make sure you return it within 30 days or you don't get a refund even with your receipt, instead you get a store credit. Well this morning I found this out, left my gallon of UNUSED paint on the counter and walked out. And also we purchased 50+ bags of their premium black mulch, which forest resources llc is refusing to call me back cause the mulch contains a morning glory ivy that comes from Louisiana... we didn't have this weed in the beds before, and we sprayed round up all over the beds before putting the mulch down and now we have this ivy weed growing from the mulch... so with this being said, I'M NOW NEVER SHOPPONG AT LOWES EVER AGAIN... and to top it off being talked to this morning like I was stupid with the black lady saying our policy is right there on the wall, ok how many actually read NEW store policies? Maybe this paint policy should be on a hanging banner so people can see it, instead they want to put it on a little sticker and expect you to see it... so technically it's a sneaky way of taking advantage of customers. So lowes you got me this morning... but it's the last time I'll shop at your expensive cheap product stores... HOME DEPOT gets all my business now... and social media is also going to hear from me.

A joke of a store

Bought a washing machine online from the Enid Oklahoma Lowe's today. A few hours later get a call saying they don't have the washer I just bought. Well why was it listed as available then? Typical of the Enid Lowe's. They never know what's in stock there or where it's at. Store's a dumpster fire. Don't know if all Lowe's are this $#*!ed but they need a new management team at this store.

I Special ordered products over a month ago. Still dont have the products. Call customer care and stay on hold for 55 mins to over an hour. Manager was supposed to call over a week ago and still nothing. Never shopping here again. Lowes customer service is horrible.

Customer service Lowes McMinnville OR-appliance department. Not good! Came in around 1100am waited for help for 45 min before giving up. Only had one person to deal with about 4 customers. Employee called for help several times with no response. I left and came back at 415 again one customer service person to help with tree customers and this one wouldn't even bother calling for help. I just wanted to spend a couple thousand on appliances-sheesh!

Terrible service

Worse company EVER! They charged my credit card two weeks ago for a product that I still haven't received. I have spent hours on the phone with the Corbin, KY store trying to get this resolved--most of that time on hold. One day I was transferred 8 times. They told me I shouldn't have ordered it online. I will never shop at Lowe's again.

From websites that are not functional-you get wait-wait-wait until you are forced to give up. Products are at the best average and the costs are high. The final straw was today-bought a blister pack of three outdoor patio hinges-got to the last one and it was defective-the spring for closure was broken. That should not be a problem right-wrong-the people wanted me to take off the two decent hinges so they could make an exchange. It would be 2 good hinges and one defective one just like opening a pack and taking a good one out and adding the defective one. Real brains there. Every store needs a jingle and I feel-You can`t go any lower than Lowes we don`t try. Is so very fitting. Ordered molding with 7 ft lengths and they said the order would be filled-sure was with 10 ft lengths and a very unwanted cost increase. Order stated 7 ft, burnt gas needlessly. Today called corporate and they said they were overwhelmed with complaints(gee surprise) they said we can call you back press 1-pressed one and was told I am 15 in the queue. Inept and should go bankrupt.

Just horrible service. Lowe's senior management should get some training from Home Depot so that they can implement proper procedure and provide appropriate customer service. Picked up parts from Home Depot in 5 minutes and then it took an hour to get my parts from Lowe's. It seems that no one knows what they are doing or supposed to do. And they will not improve till many stop buying from Lowe's.

I was on hold today for 58 minutes trying to follow up on my dishwasher repair which has been ongoing for over a month before someone answered. (Yesterday I was on hold for an hour before I gave up.) The person who answered was from the Philippines. She could not answer any questions. All she could tell me was that someone would be in touch with me by phone or email with two business days, and I would receive a confirmation email within 15 minutes. No email came. These phone experiences are typical with Lowes. Lowes' customer service in general is atrocious. Another experience involved buying flooring for a house's laundry room from Lowe's and hiring them to install it. I drove 75 miles to meet the contractor who did not show up on time. Several hours later I gave up and called Lowe's. Someone told me he would check and call me back. Had to call several more times over the next few hours until finally someone told me that they would need to reschedule for another day. I wanted a substantial discount to offset my day off of work and travel expenses. Lowe's offered me $60 or so off the $1200 job. I tried to speak with a "manager" but one would never call me back after leaving several messages. Lowe's understaffs their stores and it is hard to get any help consequently. In general, Lowe's takes every opportunity to show utter disregard for its customers.
