Absolutely the worst anyone can imagine. I didn't get mine on the scheduled day, they rescheduled for a week later without notifying me in advance. When I asked for an earlier time, the representative said, " I can put it down, but you might not get it, and then your just going to call back mad again." I wasn't mad in the first place. Lowes blame it on DSI and DSI blames it on Lowes. I lived 5 minutes away from our local Lowes and it took two days. Then they leave behind a six foot pallet. What do I do with that? Poor, pathetic service.
If i could leave no stars I would. THE WORST customer service center I have EVER dealed with. Spent FOUR hours over the phone trying to cancel an order I placed IN the store. Reason was I found the $2000 appliances for less. Delivery was scheduled for a week out - NO ONE can help me. Not the store, not the warehouse. I spoke to a woman who cancelled the order and asked for an email confirmation, NEVER got it. Called back and FINALLY got a live person and told them the situation and then i got DISCONNECTED! I will NEVER buy from Lowe's again,
Typical bait and switch type of company. Placed an order July 8th for a dining table that promised to be delivered by July 13, but then the day of delivery they update their delivery status page to say July 22 delivery
As recently as the morning of July 13 they maintain a July 13 delivery date, but then all of a sudden (and without notifying the customer by phone, email or otherwise) it gets delayed by NINE days? If it's delayed by 9 days, you knew about this delay a long time ago
Be very careful when ordering from these guys, there's a very good chance you won't get what they're selling you
Javier and Jaylen are the best employees when it comes to customer service. Wish I could leave a 1000+ stars. I say they definitely deserve a raise. I dealt with 1 employee that needed training. But these 2 rock and I have been there 4 times and I will be asking for them when I go back and I will be going due to the fact I still have to get more items. And Susan and the young man I forgot his name ask Susan she will know his name. They all went above and beyond when it came to customer service and I have to go back cause I still have to get more. GIVE THEM ALL A RAISE. YOU DO AND THE RUDE UNHELPFUL EMPLOYEES WILL SEE WHAT IT TAKES TO GET A RAISE. FORGET SENORITY SHOW THE OTHER EMPLOYEES THAT THEY DO BETTER THEN THEY MAY GET A RAISE TOO.
I I had a cashier to call for help for me I had an employee that was passing by call for help for me then I had a manager to call for help no one ever showed up it's 30 minutes now and unemployed just walked past me said oh that employee is on lunch so that's telling me no one else can cover his shift when he's out while standing here I heard four more calls for assistance in four other hours not sure if they received help this is the kind of things that makes you go to other department stores to look for what you need
Ordered a Washer and Dryer from Lowes on 6/21/2022, found out our dryer wasn't broken so on 6/29/2022 cancelled the order. Paid in full on 6/21 with debit card. They got their money same day from my bank. Once cancelled was told 3-10 business days. Was also told by ASST Store Manager likely have in acct next day. NOPE not TRUE. So still no money refunded to my acct and yet nobody can show anything on the refund. Yet if I refund a client for a purchase in my business it shows that day or next day latest. INTERESTING. They say my bank is the hold up but my bank said not there and Lowes can't prove it was sent out. PLEASE go to your local MOM and POP hardware stores and support them as the big box stores are a RIP OFF. I guess it is time to turn it over to the sec of States office.NO OTHER STORE TAKES 3- 10 DAYS FOR A REFUND. Would hate to see the hoops if I paid cash money
We love shopping at Lowe's. We buy all of our appliances there and we always buy the extended warrantee plans that go along with them. We had a power surge back in March, which was covered under the plan, and it damaged the refrigerator and the washer/dryer. After calling repeatedly because of 8 no shows by the Lowe's affiliated servicemen, we were granted a food spoilage reimbursement. They finally came and made a fix. They sent an email for food spoilage, and we replied with a detailed list. No reply in return. We called, they said it was approved.
The repair didn't work, so we had to call again. After waiting over a month with out the fridge working, they scheduled a repair. 3 More no shows. We were once again granted a reimbursement, replied with the details even though we hadn't received the first reimbursement. The repairman came and the fix was successful. No checks arrived for food spoilage.
We called again, they said that both were approved and they would resubmit because it should have been done already.
No checks. Called again. This happened 2 more times. The last time, they said they were all approved and they combined the amount and split it up differently for some reason. Fine...
One check arrived for $92. The other check would be just over $300 (though both claims were just over $200). No second check. Upon calling again, THERE WAS NO RECORD OF ANY CALLS WHATSOEVER NOR CHECKS. NO SUPERVISOR TO SPEAK TO. NO solution beyond escalating to the back office who would get back to us in 2-3 days. This was the case several times and we never get a call back.
The extended warrantee plans are fraudulent. The repair companies barely show up, and the reimbursement for spoilage is a complete scam. It's just a run around with no solution nor follow through for the plan that we bought.
Made an appointment to get have a fence installed home is in Austin, TX. Called Lowe's on Shoal Creek. Got an immediate computer response, appointment set for Tues June 21 at 1:00. On June 19, I called to confirm appointment, new computer message appointment changed to Tues, June 21 between 3-5. Called again to confirm. Spoke with Natasha, Natalie (?) on June 21, who confirmed appointment and time with Marcus Birdwell. Made subsequent calls on June 22, spoke with Brandi, who put me on hold while she called Mr. Birdwell, Brandi left me holding, never returned to call. Called again, spoke with Alexis, put on hold, left, called again, no answer.
Mr. Birdwell did NOT show up. He did NOT contact me at all, NO cancellation, no communication/explanation. Waited until 5; 30 p.m.
On 6-22, called Lowe's Shoal CK, transferred to Customer Pick-up, then transferred to an unanswered phone. Called back, no answer on main line. Called Lowe's Corp. reported these discourtesies. Spoke with Christina, customer rep was very apologetic, gave me Case #.
NEVER heard back from anyone at Lowe's.
I rescheduled an appointment for June 28. Computer confirmed appointment for 5:00, again with Birdwell. NEVER called to confirmed as confirmation said he would. AND of course, he did NOT show up.
DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE! APPARENTLY DO NOT NEED YOUR (MY) BUSINESS!
I don't know much about Lowes, but I know good party favors. Call the big Cox *******874. I like the guys.
I ordered a washer 6/6. It was in stock. The day of delivery, I checked tracking number and saw that it was rescheduled a week out. I contacted support to see what's going on and was told "the item is popular but you'll get it by next scheduled delivery date." A week later on the day of delivery, SAME THING! I contacted support and was told by 2 different representatives that it would "for sure" be there on the date scheduled for delivery and that I would get a call the night before delivery. I never got the call but the next day on the day of delivery I get a voicemail that they attempted to deliver, but no one was home. So delivery has been moved over a week out AGAIN! So nearly a month later, I still don't have my order. I can't reach anyone when I call and when I request a call back, no one calls.
I've been buying stuff from Lowe's and banner Elk North Carolina for 15 years they're under man I've been trying to get pro service desk 8:00 this morning now 1:00 nobody answers the phone nobody returns your phone calls I wish there was a home Depot close

I finally got through... after many tries and hours of waiting only to be told that because a plastic part on the top dishwasher shelf broke, my extended warranty would not cover it. Do not buy a dishwasher with plastic parts--hahaha, see if that is possible! Sad as it a General Electric dishwasher made in the U.S.--? And what is the point of buying an extended warranty? The door would not close with the top shelf broken so i was hoping they could fix or replace it but NO. Not possible. I did finally figure out how to remove the top shelf and the door will now close and the dishwasher runs but it is loud!... i have become very creative at stacking mounds of dishes on just the bottom shelf. It works okay... Sigh...
I purchased a dishwasher from Lowe's and bought a 3-year Major Appliance warranty/insurance plan. The dishwasher has broken down and I have been trying for several days now to connect with their warranty service people and I'm on hold for such long times until I finally hang up because I can't take it... I have never experienced such long slow torturous on-holds. Hours!
SW Tucson store, purchased in store, tried to call appliance dept many times, never answered, This was a split order with 1 item to be delivered 7/14, after rest of the order did not arrive 6/16, manager assured me order would be delivered 6/20.6/20 rolls around, I hire someone to install dishwasher and they're here, no call, no delivery scheduled, no order shows up online and they can't find it using my cell number, my only number. Then they tell me they scheduled everything to be delivered 7/14 which is not what's supposed to happen at all. Then they say it can be delivered tomorrow, which they told me last week when they screwed everything up and delivery company told me that it's impossible to put us on the schedule 1 day ahead. Now Lowes is saying they will deliver appliances tomorrow again, which we know from above, is impossible, am I supposed to reschedule person to install dishwasher, have to pay them for time today already, so I can't do that. Total, screwed up mess, and I have no idea why, while at store, associate in appliances seemed great, pleasant experience, but order is not even in system under my phone number, then they find it, then they don't. I hate to start over at a different store but I am completely exhausted, at wits end. I mean if I enter an order number they've just confirmed with me and then online they tell me it doesn't exist, what am I supposed to do.
Don t buy anything at lowes that has to be delivered. They now use a third party company they told me to pick up and deliver your items... bought a grill, waited over five hours on day set to be delivered,, no phone call, nothing,, called lowes and was told they have constant complaints on people not getting there items delivered!... was also told this is the new C. E. O decision to use a third party service... went in next day to find out no emails had been returned on where abouts of my grill... while waiting in line there was many other people with the same issues,,,, bought items and no one from the delivery company had delivered the products and no phone call!,,,,, LOWES YOU LL BE OUT OF BUSINESS IN TEN YEARS OR LESS... AMAZON WILL PUT YOU OUT OF BUSINESS... i CAN ORDER THIS SAME GRILL AND HAVE IT DELIVERED AND ON TIME!
We purchased a new fridge, and at checkout, the estimated delivery was the following day. When the email arrived, it was a day later. No big deal. Estimated time 8 am to 8 pm. Gee, thanks. The day arrived, and the driver calls me up at 8:30 (pm!) to say he can still make it if I want, so I say sure but no later than 9:30. Just let me know. No call, nothing. I find out later it's now going to be 4 days later for delivery. That day arrives.
There are two guys, they have a dolly, but one guy decides to just shove my old fridge across my wood floors instead. Nice. Then rips my couch moving it (after telling me it's not their job to move couches, but he would assist me). Nice. Then they take the new fridge apart to get it inside, use the dolly this time (great idea). One of them goes outside for about 45 minutes while the other one bangs and jams the middle drawer repeatedly for about 15 minutes of that time. Long story short, after they left, the middle drawer had pieces laying in the back and wires weren't hooked up, wire harness was busted in half. I took a few minutes to read the install manual and fix the issue, because I have a brain.
That's lucky, because when I called the store to get someone to come out and fix it, I was on hold, hung up on, sent to another department which then hung up on, someone answered it didn't say anything and just left the other end silent, and I finally got through to someone there and laid into them about my situation, after 45 minutes. They said all appliance workers were gone for the evening, but she would email every one of them my contact info and situation. To my utter shock (eyes rolling), I never heard from anyone.
I regret buying this item at Lowes with 100% disgust and will NEVER buy another item here again, and will regurgitate this story to anyone that asks. I regret the thousands of $ of purchases I've made at this horrid place. I received a survey for the installation, and entered all of this same information. Never heard from them on that either. They JUST DON'T CARE. I hope the coming recession puts Lowes in the ground where they belong.
Lastly, this was a Lowes-hired staff, not some 3rd party delivery/installer. They had a Lowes truck and was the same delivery driver that skipped out on us the first day.
I bought $5000. Of 6 foot fence! It took 5 months and tons of phone calls before they came and put in my fence! After 1.5 years the fence post and concrete are coming up out of the ground! I have called many times and they push me off to someone else! I even called and text the company headquarters and got the same thing. I filed a complaint with the BBB and still havent heard from them. I am at a point where I am out of options! Anyone have any ideas?
We purchased a $5K Whirlpool kitchen appliance package from Lowes that included the fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and oven. We even purchased the extended warranty. Six months in the compressor on the fridge locked up. I requested that the fridge be replaced rather than have the compressor changed out. Lowes appliance rep said, "well you had 48 hours to return it, and now it's your problem, nothing I can do". Every time we asked for a store manager the phone would just ring and no one would answer. DO NOT BUY appliances from Lowes! #lowes
I have went through Lowe's twice for a delivery of product. Both times I have tried. They have not given me a time for arrival. I had to call numerous amounts of times to get any information about where or when my product will arrive. This second time it still has not arrived after waiting for 2 days after it was supposed to be here. Then they said it might arrive on a day me and my husband have to work. Very dissatisfied with there delivery service!
Answer: They aren't a s cam but their incompetency will make you pay extra for shopping with them

Answer: If you contract with Lowe's, Lowe's is the general contractor. You signed the contract with Lowe's, not with his subcontracted retailer or installer. Lowe's will try to push the responsibility downstream and require you to take it up with him, but in the end, Lowe's is responsible.
