One Botched Up Job by LOWES

If you value your home, money, and time do not use LOWES for installation of countertop services.
I contacted Lowe's located 8670 Concord Mills Blvd. Concord, NC and sent them the pictures below of the installation and I didn't hear anything for a week. Then Lowes sent me an email stating the ticket is closed and no further action taken. LOWES do not stand behind their customers. Lowe's fabricator/ installer/subcontractor was Cutting Edge Stoneworks located 235 Rolling Hill Road Mooresville, NC *******. Cutting Edge Stoneworks came out to measure my kitchen and the measurements were incorrect and the countertops are not flush to the wall. Cutting edge Stoneworks blame me for their mistakes and they did the measurements.
Take a look at the end result, yes it looks good afar, but come closer and you will see the mistakes and errors. The seam can be seen and felt, one cabinet was damaged, sloppy glue everywhere and the countertop width are too short and as a result, they are not flush to the wall. The Bar Countertop cutout is 3 inches and is too big to place the wood trim around.
If you value your home, money, and time do not use LOWES for installation of countertop services.

Terrible

Lowe's customer service does not even remotely compare to its major competitor (we all know who that is). Unfortunately, the competitor's politics do not align with my beliefs, so I thought I would give these guys a chance. They blew it, first interaction. I will have to bite the bullet and patronize the other now. If you can't even get something simple right the first time I deal with you, then that is not a great sign for future interactions. I ordered a gas fire pit and some rocks that go in the pit. I chose the option to have the order sent to my home. After the order was placed, I received an email telling me to pick it up at a store in San Jose, California, I live 600 miles away!

Poor service

I waited over 45 minutes to buy a new clothes washer and dryer. One guy was at lunch, the other was brand new in the department and couldn't find his butt with both hands, the other guy was helping other custormers and refused to help the new guy. The new guy finally got everything entered but it was all wrong. The entire sale had to be re-entered. Lowe's needs to attend to customer service and its needs. Would not buy here again.

To refund money

Hello all, sometimes we all need to buy something from the company, then we pay the bill. But how good is the company to refund our money? This one is the WORST.
I overpaid my bill for $251 in March. I called 5 times already asking for my refund check.
1st call- they told me the check was sent and I need to wait. It's funny, because LOWE's credit company wants us, customers, to pay the bill on time. But when they need to pay us back, we need to WAIT.
2nd call - called to tell me that I never received the check. The representative "canceled the LOST check", and I'll receive another one.
3rd call - May 25th, my check was CASHED? I never saw a check. I requested that you send me the copy of the CASHED check with my signature on it. Under investigation.
4th call - June 10th, reported that I never received a copy of CASHED check with my signature on. They promised to send me the copy again.
5th call - July 21st, reported that I NEVER received a copy of CASHED check with my signature on. The representative promised me that I will receive my copy no later than August 4th.
Today is August 18th, NEVER received my refund or copy of the CASHED check.
SHAME on you.

Pathetic behavior & thieves

I placed an online order to be delivered to my home. The delivery fee was $95.00. After five weeks past my scheduled delivery date, and 14 documented/recorded conversations with them, I still haven't received my order and they refuse to refund my payment.

Lowe's is by far the worst home improvement store, hard to find help, disrespectful and their returns policies are totally unfair to customers, even if you have an account with these people. They are all about MONEY no customers fairness. Just terrible.

I tried to order something and have them delivered by truck. It did not warn me that truck is not available at the beginning. Instead, it shows truck not available only at the final check out step. I wasted me quite some time trying a few times. Then I choose store pickup. I choose the store that closest to me and items seem available. The order went ok and I got email for me to pickup. Luckily I was careful and I found the pickup store is about 10 more miles away. Also only two of the 3 items are available. I will have to pickup twice. I called the 800 custom service, she cannot do store to store transfer. Either I have to go far to pick up or cancel. She said she can see items in the sore nearest to me. I called the store. It says, it means they don't have it, that is why my pickup store has been changed. Very frustrating and very disappointing.

Bought a frig that was set to be delivered between 3-7pm at 6pm they called to tell me their truck broke down on the freeway and my order wasn't going to be delivered. Now the next no phone call to tell me when my order will be delivered so i had to call and find out that it's being delivered between 6-10pm, thats way to late for me and there's no way to change it

What ever you do do not buy anything of value from Lowes and specially this store.

I order a section of cabinets. They delivered 4 days after they said they would (not the end of the world in this world) but one of the cabinets was clearly dropped off the end of the truck and they hid it in the middle.

As this is not my first rodeo and I flip houses. I quickly inspected and discovered the damage. I called immediately and they said they had one but it would take 3 days to deliver. The day the crew was set to install. Not happy but could deal with it.

The day came and the delivery time came. The crew called said their truck broke down they would be late. 4 hours later they showed up and tried to take the broken cabinet and not deliver a new one. The guy started yelling at me and I finally had to video tape him.

He left and I called Lowes they said they had no idea I needed a replacement? But then I asked why they sent a truck? Suddenly the line dropped. I called back waited 40 min and asked for a manger. On hold for another 15 min to be connected to another irate customer. So we both had to drop. I'm now on the phone again for 40 plus minutes.

Whatever you do go to Home Depot! Pay more it is worth your time.

I purchased a remmington grass trimmer from lowes I tried using it several times but it got harder and harder to start finally I took it back only to be told I had to deal with remm8ngton I ended up leaving it there as it was no good to me and needed one this year, meaning by the time I went through there process my grass would be 4 feet tall. After trying to deal with someone who had no business being anybodies representative I purchased one from home depot. I have had several dealings with them including returns and should have done that in the first place

I had to deal with a racist clerk at their store who was a Karen. Blatantly lied about a situation and had to depend on a witness. Wish I recorded. Then I saw the video about lowes catering to recast and kidnappers. I am done. Home depot started doing veteran discounts too, I go there now. #LeaveLowes

This is a follow-up to a complaint made regarding an installation that was scheduled for 3-Aug-2022.

I purchased a new Samsung washing machine ONLINE along with the hose pipe connectors, and a 5 year extended warranty. Lowes at 1920 NW Maynard RD, Morrisville, NC *******. They had 3 days to deliver and install. The installers landed up without the connectors, Installed the new washer with old pipes with total disregard for safety, water leaks, or pipe burst. They said that they would come the next day to install it.

Nobody showed up the next day. It's been 5 days now. What is the store Manager doing?. Does he know anything?. Who is in charge of inventory control at this location?. Does the guy in charge of installations know anything to send people out on a job without the required items ordered?. Do they know anything about safety at this location?. I made 3 calls to Customer care Complaint via Phone number: *******937.

I called them and spoke to a guy by the name Hunter on this number *******925 who claimed to be a Manager at the distribution centre. When I asked to clarify, he refused to tell me from which location, but I tracked it to Lowes distribution Centre, Garner, NC. One of the worst arrogant people you can speak to and he claimed that he was a Manager. Ha! He talked to me that the complaint I made was how they work, meaning that, that is how they work and you either accept it or take a refund. He made it clear that that is correct. Can you imagine that?. HUNTER is the name. Nobody should deal with this guy or the company and specifically this distribution centre in Garner, NC. I strongly advise people not to go to this place or this company. You will get stiffed.

LOWES USES A HORRIBLE DELIVERY COMPANY TO DELIVER THE APPLIANCES. WHEN I DENIED DELIVERY THE DRIVER CURSED AND LEFT WITH WASHER. HOWEVER, THE DRIVER NEVER BROUGHT THE WASHER BACK TO LOWES AND DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING ELSE WITH IT. LOWES WAS NO HELP AND DIRECTED ME TO DELIVERY COMPANY. DELIVERY COMPANY ACTED LIKE MONKYS AND CURSED THE SITUATION AND SAID ITS LOWES ISSUE. TWO DAYS LATER WHAT AM I TO THINK? I WILL BE REPORTING THE WASHER STOLEN AT THIS POINT AND CONTACTING CARD COMPANY. BUYER BEWARE. NEVER SHOP WITH LOWES AND EXPECT DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF ONLY I GOT DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE THIS COULD OF ALL BEEN HANDLED. INSTEAD I WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD THE WORD ACROSS EVERY AVENUE POSSIBLE.

I bought a John Deere riding mower 2021 at Lowe's. I was told it had a 3 year warranty. The manual just says "standard" warranty which you cannot read until you purchase machine. Clerk sold me the protection plan by saying it would EXTEND the warranty another 3 years. Obviously it broke down. John Deere won't fix it because the warranty covered hours of usage NOT years. I only cut one summer--every two weeks. Lowe's protection plan does not START for another 2 years, so they won't fix it. The protection plan is absolutely worthless! They sold me the protection plan (over $300) by telling me a lie.
DON'T BUY FROM LOWE'S--DEFINATELY NOT THEIR PROTETION PLANS and DON'T BUY JOHN DEERE--they're not as good as they use to be!

Lowes appliances

First Lowes only has a one year warranty where Costco has two years with a small charge for an additional 3. Lowes charged me 500 for 5 years but they don't stand behind the the warranty I've been waiting 3 months for repair. Second their sales staff sold me a noisy piece of junk that doesn't get the clothes clean. I added a piece of clothing at the beginning of the wash cycle when then the washer stopped only part of the clothing was wet. This is a Maytagwasher and dryer. The dryer doesn't dry the clothes towels and jeans after running it three times. Do not buy from Lowes

I purchased a Harbor Breeze Waveport 52" indoor/outdoor fan from Lowe's. I always inspect the box to be sure it was not returned. In this case it looked like it was factory sealed. When I opened it for installation I removed all the parts and started the assembly. When I got close to the end I was instructed to attach the fan blades. The screws/washers for the fan blade mount to the motor were preinstalled. Unfortunately, there were two of the screws missing from the motor. So, I called the 800 number to get the two screws. The person on the phone had no clue. She actually said she would send me the parts bag for the unit. I explained to her that the screws/washers I was looking for were preinstalled on the motor and not in the parts bag. After a bit she said she was looking at the wrong manual. Duh!. Then she said that she could not ship me the two screws since they were preinstalled. Then she told me that I would have to return the fan to Lowe's and exchange it. Well, I went nuts and explained that I would have uninstall the fan to take it back. She gave me the usual apology that you get when someone can't help you. Also, since these screws were missing and a couple of other things were amiss in the packaging, I do believe this unit was returned. Either the person returning it did a great job of resealing the box or the people at Lowe's did it. In either case nobody actually inspected the contents to be sure there was nothing missing. So, I went back to Lowe's told them what happened and they said go get another one. This time I opened the box there and made sure all the parts were there. They were. What a nightmare. Installing a ceiling fan twice. The fan is really nice, Lowe's not so much. I do have proof of purchase and bought the fan back around 7/12/22.

Went to Brooklyn Kings Plaza Lowes yesterday - they made me feel worthless and annoying. The worst were the women in "Customer Service". They openly displayed how annoyed they were.
There is one wonderful exception - this very young black kid who works there: he genuinely tried to help, brought me to the right isle and called the correct person for the isle. They should promote him and put in charge of customer service, that's my opinion.

Love shopping at Lowe's but don't buy because you get a rebate. I bought Cabot paint in April because lowe's offered a rebate. I filed on April 13th and this is July 29th and I still have not received the $120 they owe me. They say it may take 6-8 weeks but it has been over 12

I bought carpet almost 3 months ago and lowes ordered the wrong carpet 3 times now send the 12 × 14 ft carpet was delivered to my house. What was supposed to take 2 weeks has turned into almost 3 months. I took up all the carpet padding and tac board to help the installers. June 26th I bought carpet. My 10 yr old disabled autistic son level 2 stepped on the tac board the installers put down with the new padding and left because it was the wrong carpet so my son steps on the tac board not once but twice because lowes left the tac board instead of pulling it up. Installers came out twice to pull up tac boards. Now I'm asking for a refund my son won't get compasation for stepping on the tac boards. Calling a lawyer
This was the best lowes can do because the failed to order the right carpet. Now lowes is mad at me. It's been 3 months

Lowe's estimator came out and provided an estimate for a vinyl fence installation.
After signing it took 4 months for the contractors to schedule the install.
Lowe's neglected to tell me that 6 ft of dirt from each post hole would be left in a pile at each post. I called the estimator- he advised that I 'Rake it through my yard! I have dogs... what a terrible mud pit that would be! His only other suggestion was to pay the contractor to haul the dirt away. Again, this was never discussed when he did the estimate.
Then, as the installers were digging the holes... anytime that they needed to use a jackhammer, it cost me $30...$420 so far and job not completed yet!
Estimator said ' well you never asked me about additional charges'. Worst experience ever, terrible attitude from salesperson once he got the Contract.
Contractor was amazing, Lowe's is the worst! Never. Ever. Contract with Lowe's
