Ordered a 20 foot Werner ladder on Dec. 4th with delivery to store by Jan. 2nd, still not shipped to store. Lowes tells me sorry there is a delay, that's all! Will be looking for a reputable store that can actually do what they say. This was needed by this weekend! Now I'm in a bind and need to look for one somewhere else!
Visited the Lowe's store in plantation Florida looking for one item. I asked for service at our aisle. No one showed up. Lowes associates are like UFOs, I know they exist. I've just never ever seen one!
Lowes has discontinued discounts for all veterans on electrical lumber and appliances. All veterans have earned the right for this discount in one form or another. Lows has joined the greedy corporate America and is no longer a family oriented business!
I purchased a dishwasher that was never delivered. Manager at Lowes was horrible and gave me a number to call to get my money returned. It took me a week to get my refund after calling a warehouse every day. No offer to fix their mistake and corporate response was a joke. They had a dishwasher in the back storage area but the manager said I could not have it most likely because the sale was over and they could get an extra $100 for it. Goodbye Lowes and Thanks for nothing!"
NEVER, I repeat NEVER order new windows from Lowe's! This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. They use a 3rd party installer who never fully sealed my windows (there's a gap on one side of each of my windows) and now after NINE WEEKS (over two months!) and counting my windows still have freezing cold air coming thru because this 3rd party installer didn't seal them all the way on one side of each window. I paid thousands of dollars for these windows and no one at Lowe's seems to be able to get this situation rectified (they all keep telling me it's "being escalated" but after TWO MONTHS with no resolution, maybe your "escalation" process needs to change?!). It's like if you ordered a refrigerator and they delivered it but it doesn't work. Is that "installed"?! Don't make the same mistake I did. Go with a company that specializes in windows. This has been a nightmare and honestly, they may never fix these windows. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get this awful company to seal my windows (something that should have been done when they "installed them"), please let me know. I can't even sleep in the bedroom that the windows were "installed" because it's been freezing due to the cold air coming in.
I have shopped with Lowes for years and spent a fair amount of money there, However I will now drive across town to a Home Depot to spend my money. I ordered a refrigerator on the Lowes website on 12/25/22 and was given a delivery date of 12/30/22 On Dec 29,2022 I received an email stating that my delivery window was 1-5. I left my office in order to be here for the delivery window. I received an email at 7:15 am on 12/30/22 stating that it was "out for delivery" I received a text at 12:15 saying "This is Lowe's delivery team with your delivery" I was with a client and unable to respond until 1:52 telling them that my husband was home to receive the delivery at 12:45. No response. I received 2 emails saying that they were running late but it was on the way. I texted the In the second email they had changed the delivery time to 2-6. And we waited. My refrigerator was not delivered. I called Customer don't Care and they were closed for the evening, So I called the Little Elm store and was on hold for 30 minutes before hanging up. I looked at the delivery status the next morning and the delivery date had been moved out another week. I called "Customer don't Care" the next morning and was told that I had called around 3 the prior day and asked to move the delivery because no one was at the business to receive the item. 1) My home is not a business and 2) I made no such call. Customer don't Care continued to repeat that I had called and moved the appointment which I did not. I spoke to a manager to see if the refrigerator could be delivered earlier than the next Friday "no". I asked if there was any discount they could give me to offset the $800 I lost by not being in my office "no". I called the person who had texted me. The delivery driver immediately picked up and said they had a really slow day 12/31 and to call the store, talk to Jason in receiving, and see if they could get it on the truck for a Sunday delivery. I talked with Jason in receiving what confirmed that it was a slow day for deliveries the next day but that the system they used would not let him select 12/31, only the following Friday the 6th. I cannot speak highly enough about the receiving and delivery team that I spoke with, but Lowes, in general, is an uncoordinated mess of an operation, who cares nothing about customers.
I went to store and bought a refrigerator. It was scheduled to be delivered Friday. I took off from work, and they cancelled the delivery. Rescheduled for Monday. Again I took off. Yep, they rescheduled again after calling to confirm. Less than 15 minutes later, called to reschedule stating truck broke down. Rescheduled for Friday. Had not heard a word, so I called store to check on time. Was informed the refrigerator showed delivered. After a while I finally got them to reschedule. Of course now I'm not off until next Tuesday. I already took off 2 days, which would have almost paid for the refrigerator. Regret that I got a Lowe's credit card, because my next purchase of a washer and dryer WILL NOT BE DONE AT LOWE'S! I already received a statement for the refrigerator and have to make a payment before I get it. Will be canceling this credit card as soon as I pay it off! No photo can be attached, as all I have is a hole where the refrigerator goes.
Ordered a refrigerator 2 weeks ago. They sent an email saying it would be delivered the next day. I waited the next day, never arrived. Got an email it would actually be the following day. Waited, never arrived. And then in two days from that day, another broken promise. And then the day after. All the while you are waiting at home rearranging your schedule to receive said item day of, the day wears on, and then after waiting 4 out of the 5 hours of the delivery window you get a notification it will be delivered the next day instead. They are playing a game with their customers. A very poorly run business.
I bought an artificial Christmas tree from Lowes. Great price…and no shipping fee! Great! Not so fast. Discovered later that the free shipping did not apply to the discounted price. Paid $80 in shipping! The old scam…discount the price and quadruple the shipping.
Wish I had read some of these reviews before I started my own nightmare with Lowe's. I ordered 14 boxes of ceiling tiles from Lowe's costing $1180.34. They did not show at the first scheduled delivery date and no call to let us know they had to reschedule. Finally on the fourth reschedule they delivered 14 individual broken tiles, not 14 boxes of 16 tiles each! When I called to inquire about this major error, I was transferred multiple times, spending exorbitant time on the phone. I finally got to talk to the store manager at the Banner Elk, NC LOWE'S, named Andrew, who, instead of showing a glimmer of empathy for this fiasco, was very militant and told me I could go buy it elsewhere, after waiting three weeks from the time I submitted my order! Finally rescheduled delivery for today and again a no show. Called again, multiple transfers to different associates to finally get rescheduled. Called the online customer service to find out that the product was never available and wouldn't be available for the delivery date they rescheduled me for! I told them to cancel my order and am now fighting to get that accomplished. Any amount of savings you might think you're getting does not make up for the aggravation of trying to deal with Lowe's. Just don't do it! Lowes deserves ZERO stars.
Nobody knows what aisle is where! Due to the fact I was there asking for almost an hour asking finally I decided to go to HOME DEPOT, and they knew where the item I was looking for! I'm going to drive past your store just to go to HOME DEPOT at least I will get home faster!
We had ordered a dishwasher from Lowes and was given a delivery date. Waited all day and it never came. When we called they said they did not have it in stock( yes they gave us a delivery date for an item that showed it was in stock but really wasn't) Was given another delivery date. Was told delivery between 9 and 1 this time. Waited til 3:00. Still no dishwasher. When we called, we where informed that the dishwasher we ordered has been discontinued. Was offered a discount by the manager for a new dishwasher. We went to Home Depot
The Greenville Lowe's has terrible customer service the assistant manager is so nasty it starts from the top management is horrible their are a few associates that ok but overall bad customer service appliances are received dented just bad service.
Ordered material to build a shed. While ordering, I made everything for delivery, since I only have a jeep Cherokee. I also paid a delivery charge of $80. The store is 3 miles away. I received emails saying it would get delivered Friday. Then I got a text saying it was ready for pickup. I called, only to find out the metal roofing was being delivered, but I was suppose to pick everything else up, unless I wanted to pay an additional $180 to have the other material delivered. I said no and hung up. Later that night I get an email saying everything was being delivered on Saturday, for an extra $95.i did not agree to this.
Very disappointed that they would treat anyone this way.
Terrible. I recently purchased a fence from Lowes at n. Main st. In High Point N.C. From a salesman named JIMMY. He guaranteed a price which includes everything taxes, labor, materials. Etc. I get my first bill in the mail. It was 385.00 more than the agreement. He will not return my call.even after management emailed him several times. 385.00 is a lot of money. What can i do.
We ordered 3doors and paid over $8000 about 4months ago. They delivered finally after 3 month. But two of the doors were wrong size. So they left all the doors in our basement for anout a month. They never called us for update what is going on. We called them but they told us to wait. No reply for three days. So we cancelled everything. No appology nothing. Waiting for them to pick up wrong doors before getting refund now. Very very disappointed.
The absolute worst. Will never order from them again. Ordered a refrigerator from them and had the order canceled three different times (waiting all day for the delivery for it to end up being canceled each and every time). Please save yourself and do not order from this company. We still do not have a refrigerator.
Lowes store managers are male chauvinistic pigs taking advantage of women consumers. Lowes charged me $4,300+ for custom tile job to include custom wall base tile. The flooring company installers didn't speak any English clearly incompetent of following installation instructions As they only completed half the job & then claimed I paid for everything except for the wall base tile sitting uncut & uninstalled on the floor of my garage. Lowes i$ literally giving me the runaround by only giving me a partial $230 refund while trying to extort more money out of me now to complete a custom tile job I've already paid for while refusing to refund the full amount paid for product & install of custom wall base tile install!
I wanted to alert everyone who buys products from Lowes online store to beware of the 20% restocking fee that they mention buried further in their return policy for "special orders". This is any product that isnt sold in Lowes stores. They lost me as an online customer.
I ordered a dishwasher on Oct 30th. It was to arrive in 10 days. The automated system sent me five new delivery dates as it kept postponing. Sometimes it even waited until the day of delivery to let me know another 5 days. The on line chat window is useless. It would be less frustrating if I didn't get the emails with bogus delivery dates. On Dec. 1st I went out and purchased a dishwasher...thank goodness because the latest update is this time is now out of stock. I with they had told me that a month ago!

Answer: If you contract with Lowe's, Lowe's is the general contractor. You signed the contract with Lowe's, not with his subcontracted retailer or installer. Lowe's will try to push the responsibility downstream and require you to take it up with him, but in the end, Lowe's is responsible.
