I ordered 3 range hoods online to be picked up from lowes. I got intimation that I can pick up the items. When I went there, only one range hood was available with no explanation what happened. I was promised that I will be called. No call came. I called 2 days later and was advised that they will cancel the order for the balance and issue a new order. I agreed. I requested this time to deliver the 2 left over units to my home. Only one unit came again. I called customer service and was advised to wait since the promised delivery date was 23rd Jan and it was only 19th. So I waited, nothing happened. I again call the store. And again was promised call back. No call back. Keep in mind, every time I call the store, I may have to wait sometimes over 40 minutes. Today is 26th and I still dont know if I will ever get the third unit. I learned my lesson. No more buying from Lowes. My project is delayed by 3 weeks because of Lowes. I suggest you only buy from lowes if you have hours and hours of spare time to chase your orders.
Perhaps the worse company that I ever purchased major appliances from. I thought that Sears was bad and we all know what eventually happened to Sears, Lowe's is headed in the same direction….bankruptcy
I bought two bathrooms cabinets from lowes in saint clair pa they were allen and Roth cabinets for 1700.00 one of the cabinets was built out of square I had a 90 day return policy and a one year warranty on the cabinets by the time my bathroom remodel was done the 90 days has passed I went to lowes talked to 3 different managers they told me to call the manufacture so I did they told me to go call the lowes service department I did that then they told me to call the manufacturer again it was a runaround so I called back the lowes service department and they told me to take my cabinet down to lowes and drop if off and we will send another one there I refused because the lowes in saint Clair pa never heard of such thing I told the service department I'm not going to drop and leave my cabinet there when they didn't know what they were doing I will not buy again from lowes
Amazing customer service at Festus Lowes! The manager is extremely professional and knowledgeable and was able to help me! Yes it took time for her to research the product and the warranty but she was awesome! Thank you!
I paid almost $******* for a generac generator install, all in. The installers charged me an additional $340 and the gas company $500 for necessary f/u and modifications respectfully to get the unit to operate along with my existing heat system. They lead me to believe they would compenstate me but did not. What a rippoff.
After a year of working with Lowe's to correct their mistakes it's no surprise they are not taking any responsibility even at the corporate level. We ordered a door with installation in February of 2022 From Lowe's on Royal Pine Drive in Colorado Springs, CO. The door did not arrive as ordered. Nobody would talk to me. They simply emailed and said they would reorder it and expedite it. It took even longer and was still wrong (same issue as the first time). Again Nobody would talk to me to correct the issue. Because of the length of time we did not have time left to get a new door or go with someone else before winter. I was told by the installation department that I could dispute the order and get the cost of the door back but I had to install it first. I was skeptical but didn't have a choice since I needed a door before winter. I got it installed and after that nobody would talk to me. I submitted the dispute. I was told the store manager would make a decision. He would not make a decision. It was escalated to regional. Nothing happened. I was told it could go to the installation supervisor and they would make a decision. What they didn't tell me is he was limited to a 20% discount. Omitting the truth is also lying. I did not accept the offer since I was told we could get the amount of the door refunded. I opened a case with the BBB. They passed it to Lowe's corporate and closed the case. Lowe's corporate only offered a 30% discount and said take it or leave it and you can't say anything about about them or their service. I will never step foot in that store again and I will never order professional services from any Lowe's ever again. My goal is to get this out to the rest of the consumers because this is their policy. Install the product first then dispute it. After that you do not have any leverage.
I ordered a washer on 1/1/23 and my delivery date has been changed twice. I understand a couple of days for the weather, however it has been two weeks for my delivery. I called and they transfer you to the delivery department and they hang up on you. I have called them 5 times and keep getting hung up on or the phone just rings. I called customer service and he transfer me to the assistant manager and they never picked up the phone. Kept putting me on hold. I will NEVER AGAIN purchase from Lowes on Robert Street in St Paul, MN they suck. Very unprofessional.
I tried calling a Lowes store directly and was never able to to be connected. It rang repeatedly and I was eventually disconnected. I tried several Lowes stores and it was the same story. I was told I would be called the night before my scheduled delivery with a delivery window which I was not and there was no one available at customer service to help me either, I will be going to a store myself tomorrow to cancel my entire order. I am amazed that Lowes is still in business given the non-extent customer service.
Bought an oven on line and it was delivered today. They actually left it here with a missing leg! It is so wobbly I can't believe they would leave it here like this! Then I try to call, NO ONE ANSWERS ANY OF THE PHONES! IVE BEEN TRYING ALL AFTERNOON CALLING SEVERAL LOCATIONS. RIDICULOUS!
At store the employee was good but did a schedule appointment for flooring cost at one time did my schedule base on it got message day before changing time his is not right and answer was well we can do it another day instead of trying to accommodate me his is lack of interest of my business I try to give them another shot at service and everything else and this is what I get just forget about this place lack of interest on customer that's why saw store empty and employees talking between them and store didn't looks good. Lowe's customer service is the absolute WORST on the planet. They have outsourced their install scheduling to a company in the Philippines (Handy). AWFUL!
Two Kohler toilets were installed. One is defective, and verified as defective. Handy keeps canceling the replacement appointments. I have spoken with them Several times. I have spoken with Lowe's and the installer Several times. The Installer can't do anything until Handy gets their head out of their $#*! and produces an appointment.
This has gone on for over two weeks.
I am at the point of having the toilet ripped out and returning it to Lowe's myself and contracting with the installer privately to install a new one.
The WORST customer service experience I have Ever experienced. There HAS to be some recourse!
Washer and dryer set was to get delivered with a huge window of time and never came. Didn't get told until 8:40 pm that it was not coming after said in route.I am now being told it was canceled for delivery and a new delivery was made for 2 more days later. Horrible customer service! No help No resolution
Called over and over with no help from customer service or stores on hold now trying to get a earlier delivery date and still getting the run around. Would not be so frustrated if they didn't say at 8pm they were in route to my home with confirmation email then another email saying my items were delivered!?Will go else where from now on!
The Lowes delivery man called my cell phone. I answered and heard him say something that was totally incomprehensible. I said what? Then he repeated the same incomprehensible thing. I told him that I could not understand what he was saying. At that point, he hung up on me. I did not know it was the Lowes delivery man calling until moments later when I received a text with the Lowes logo from the same number that called me earlier. The man showed up at my door 5 to 10 minutes later. When I opened the door, I asked him if he was the one who hung up on me. He nodded, then I told him you are supposed to say "sorry" after doing something like that. He turned his back to me and walked away.
That encounter was so bad that I am very unlikely to ever order anything to be delivered by Lowes to my home again. But to top it all off, the item I ordered (an electric space heater) was not delivered in brand new condition. The box was obviously previously opened and haphazardly taped shut, there was no packing material in the box to protect it during shipping, and there was no manual in the box.
I have no idea why Lowes would employ someone for deliveries who cannot speak comprehensible English or be so rude.
They advertise one price just to charge a deposit for cleaning. That's fine. But when you clean the thing spotless, they still refuse to give you the deposit back because it has dust from their own store on it. Now we're talking scam. The carpet cleaner didn't work very well to begin with and now I'm told they won't refund the cleaning deposit. Bravo Lowe's you got me.
I paid Lowe's over $15,000.00 in a May of 2022 to build me a deck. As of January 9,2023 and 3 failed inspections later I still don't have a deck that can pass code. I reached out to Marvin Ellison and Exec team and they still refuse to refund me so can hire a professional. The deck company they hired only has two reviews and claims cannot dig footers through tree root. They have 7 failed items on inspection report.
I already wrote this. Where did it go? I hate Lowes. They should tell everyone upfront that IF UDont have a receipt they will not take a return, even if it's still in the box and unused. They suk! Never have had this problem with Home Depot.
No concern for customer satisfaction. Made a $1500 purchase on 2 items and have now received our 5th promised delivery date. Called the store 4 times and spoken to management. No returned phone call as promised by front end supervisor, Richard. No acceptable reason why we haven't received our purchase, different excuses and answers. First it was a manufacturing issue, then blamed on the weather, then it was a lost work order, then I was asked to wait for a call back that I haven't received. Last I have heard is there was "a glitch in their system" and that they have already received my unit, but have not made my delivery a priority. Huge waste of time and giant inconvenience. We are without an oven for 3 weeks now because Lowes can't figure out how to operate their business, or keep track of their inventory. I have been made to feel like I am the problem for seeking answers. When calling the store to speak to someone, their automated system lacks ease of use and directs you to people and departments I don't need to speak to. All around one of the worst, if not the worst, customer service experiences I have ever received! This company clearly does not have any concern for customer satisfaction and they have provide me unacceptable service. Take your money somewhere else!
Absolutely enjoyed my lowes visit. Jessica was spot on in getting what we needed and with the best attitude! Very helpful, need a few more service people like her!
This is one of the worst places to shop. They never have enough help and the lines are always extremely long. As long as they have been in business you would think that they could do a much better job at customer service. I will never go back to Lowe's.
We had blinds installed today from lowes. Complete disaster. They installed the wrong blinds. Now we need to go back and have it all done over again. Even though the employee knew they were incorrect still proceeded to drill into the sills and install them anyway. Lowe's thanks for nothing. Now wife is on phone dealing with these idiots. I know service sucks in general lately but lowes c'mon. Teach these kids how to use a tape measure and how to change there diaper before they go into people's homes

Answer: If you contract with Lowe's, Lowe's is the general contractor. You signed the contract with Lowe's, not with his subcontracted retailer or installer. Lowe's will try to push the responsibility downstream and require you to take it up with him, but in the end, Lowe's is responsible.
