Made a large purchase that offered a FREE delivery service. At purchase of the washer & dryer it was determined that items were to be placed in laundry area. Apparently Lowes uses an outside delivery service, regardless, it is Lowes responsibility to honor agreement. Items were delivered on the time provided BUT the 2 boys that delivered put items in middle of dining room & bolted out the door. For a service already paid for the customer had to pay someone else $25 to place items in proper area. $25 may seem trivial to some but on a fixed income it is a lot. Lowes offered a 10% off discount on next purchase, UNACCEPTABLE! Would have to spend an additional $250 just to recover. Fixed incomes don't allow this & if put on credit card the $25 would be gone in a flash in interest. Poor business practices on Lowes part. In short, BEWARE OF THE "FREE" word. BOO FOR LOWES!

I have been am Ohio Lowes customer forever. Had a Lowes for Pros credit card. Ohio stores were great. Now I live in Port Charlotte Florida. The Lowes staff has no idea what their inventory is. I asked 4 people questions and they all had trouble pointing me in a direction. Then I went back to pick up 4 gallons of paint. They did not secure a lid and all 4 cans were covered in brown paint. After waiting for 20 minutes watching them clean their machine and wait on other customers but let my paint sit dripping on the table I told them to keep the paint. They seemed pissed. Went to Home Depo and got the paint. I was always a Lowes guy but I need to start looking at Home Depo and see how well they train their people...

I bought a PVC check valve for a plumbing project at home. It sprays water out of the seam made at the factory. Its a slip type so you have to glue it in. I cut it out and take it back to Lowes and the lady says "we can't take that back you glued it already. We can't sell it now." ITS DEFECTIVE, YOU SHOULDN'T SELL IT ANYWAY. I spent about $4000 there last year. I will spend the next $4000 somewhere else.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. I bought a complete service from Lowes on 09/12/2022, for an entrance door+storm door+instalation of both at a price of $9240.15. Lowes did not want to start the job unless I paid the entire project cost upfront. That was the biggest mistake that I ever made. My contract stipulated that the door would be delivered on ~11/15/2022 and the job completed on 12/15/2022. On Dec 2022 I called Lowes almost daily for updates and reach out to non-existent customer service. I was even told by an associate at Lowes Paramus that they did not sell the door to me. I finally reach out to Kevin and finally had a normal conversation. The door was partially installed on Jan 28,2023, after daily phone calls to non-existent customer service. Even sent an email to customer service which as of today Mar 15,2023, did not reply nor contacted me. Reach out to Lowes Paramus daily again even escalating to the store manager Richard and I am in touch with Ted the store Assistant Manager as of today after they hang up my phone 3 times (by mistake they said). I was so mad for being treated with so much disrespect and I put Ted (assistant manager) on blast who at that point provided his cell# to communicate. After 6 months I paid for the full project I still do not have a front door done. Based on my experience I do not strongly do not recommend buying a door from Lowes because for me is the worst store that I have had to deal with. Whoever owns this store should look at his customer service department and start to clean up. I wish to be able to get my money back to go to another store to buy my entrance door because Lowes definitely after 6 months was not able to deliver the service that I paid in full for. In my opinion, avoid Lowes.

Ordered a washer from the Lowes website. They said it was the last one and promised I'd receive it. Guaranteed I had it. Right before the delivery date, I got an email saying it was backordered and they had no idea when it would arrive. A WASHER. An essential items I needed right away. They also planned on delivering in person the wires to hook it up from one store and the washer itself from another. The wires/connections were still scheduled to be delivered. The washer was not. How is that supposed to work? We've always gone to Lowes before, but this experience was horrendous and I'll never go there again.

6 days have passed. Lowe's still has over $800 dollars of our money and we have a broken washing machine still sitting in our house.

I ordered a washing machine (4.5-cu ft High Efficiency Agitator Top-Load Washer (White)
On February 28th. It was delivered and installed two days later on March 2nd. After the installation it began to leak. The people came back to make sure everything was connected correctly. They determined that everything was hooked up fine and the washing machine was faulty and needed to be exchanged for a new one. We wiped up the water on the floor and unplugged the machine and I called to get a new machine. I was told I would receive a call within 24 hours about getting a new machine. March 3rd 25 hours later no phone call. I call back and found out that the washer we wanted was out of stock and the best solution was to have the faulty leaking machine picked up and get a refund, so I scheduled a pick up of the faulty machine delivered on March 2nd. I'm told to wait till after 6:30pm on Saturday March 3rd to get a phone call about when it will be picked up. I wait till 7pm and call back to find out that they're running behind schedule, but will pick up the broken washer on Sunday some time between 3:30 and 7:30pm. Sunday March 5th 1:30pm I get a call saying that the truck broke down and they will have to reschedule the pick up for another day. I'm still waiting on a call to tell me when the pick up will be rescheduled for. At this point 6 days have passed. Lowe's still has over $800 dollars of our money and we have a broken washing machine still sitting in our house. This is the worst serve I've experienced with any company ever.

Update: They picked up the washing machine. Now I only have to wait 9 more days to get my money back. So if you'd like a company to hold on to your money for three weeks without a washing machine I recommend Lowe's. They do a great job of not providing any service and holding your money. Also never once offered any compensation for the ridiculous ordeal.

Well, how shall I start? Lowe's did not want my business. It is simple as this. I wanted to buy a new fridge from them. I was willing to wait the unexplained waiting time of 20 days! The item is in stock - why cannot I get it sooner? No explanation! There is no way to contact anyone to find out! My patience was already running low when suddenly I received an email from Lowe's saying that the delivery for my ordered fridge would be delayed for four days after the promised day.What? Why? I was not able to find that out because nobody in customer service answered the phone. When I finally got someone on the phone from the store which was fulfilling my order, that person told me she was not working in the appliances department. Ok, I told myself, I have been waiting for 20 days, what other four days would change, right? My groceries were sitting on the porch, luckily the weather was freezing. But it was slowly getting on my nerves that I didn't have a working fridge. Right before the delivery day, again I got another email saying the delivery would be delayed for another week! Really? I could not believe my eyes! Why? And again- no explanation! What would you do in this case! The company obviously does not want my business. Ok! Fine with me! I can go to a different retailer to buy a new fridge. I had no other choice but to cancel my order with them. And after that I started to receive emails from Lowe's asking me how they could make my experience better and asking me why I canceled my order! It was not obvious for them! LOL! Advice: deliver the fridge on the promised day! Hopefully, someone from Lowe's will read this review and identify the issue with their logistics and correct it, because the company is going to lose a lot of money. But why should I care, right? They did not think it is urgent for me to have a new fridge. Why should I worry about them?

I ordered a washer that cost me more than another store but went with it only because it would be delivered 4 days later. That day is today and last night i got a call from the rudest 3rd party customer service agent i have ever had to deal with. He informed me that they are busy and it wouldn't get delivered for another 7 days. After getting hung up i called to and spoke to the assistant manager (collen I believe) at the west Saginaw lansing mi store which sent a email. He did inform me it was a stocking issue. Although helpful it doesn't change the fact that it's costing me money to rearrange my schedule. Time that was already arranged today and no discount was offered. The amount of money i spend at Lowe's is ridiculous and from now on it looks like the competition is gonna get that. Lowes please stop using 3rd party trashy unorganized companies when it is your name getting trashed. I fully intend on telling my story in more details to everyone i know

Terrible service

Bought washer and dryer. Was not at store when promised. Was not notified. Called and placed on hold and never returned. Wasted gas driving there. I paid my money. Didn't ask for special service just do what you said. Canceled and headed to Home Depot.

What a great experience!

We were shopping for a new washer and dryer at the lowes store in Carlisle, PA. We met your sales agent in appliances at the time, Mr. Mike Nescio. He has made this experience unforgetable. We purchased a new top load set and after it was delivered and set up my wife began to use them and was very disappointed in our purchase.
We returned to lowes a fea days later and explained to Mike our disappointment and that we would wish to purchase another set. "NO PROBLEM" was his reply. He wrote up the new set and gave us a full refund on the units we did not like. NO QUESTION ASKED!
WE ARE SUPER HAPPY WITH OUR NEW GE FRONT LOAD WASHER AND DRYER! THANKS SO MUCH TL MR. MIKE NESCIO!

Top Notch Service

We went to our local store (#3444) in search of a new refrigerator (GE Profile). The Lowes employee, Oleg, was super helpful. Even though appliances wasn't his department, he assisted us with getting the refrigerator ordered for delivery. I tried to go in and give him a review, but couldn't get past a sweepstakes, so wanted to give him a shout out here. Oleg you score a 10 in our book!

We enjoy going to Lowe's but not when it came to having our storm door installed. No thank you! We put a deposit down to have the door installed. Someone came out the next day to take measurements. Then 2 weeks later nothing. I called. Was rerouted to several people. Finally told to hang on. No one came back! We went back to the store. The guy in the door department told us we were definitely scheduled to have door installed. Someone would give us a call in 7 days. Two weeks later nothing! We finally decided to just get our money back after being told they could have it installed the end of July. Being we started the entire process June 11. Never ever again will try to get something installed by Lowe's!

We were supposed to receive our washer and dryer on 2/1/23. We had an ice storm that day and it was rescheduled for a week later, the next date in our area. Feb. 8 came. Appliances were to be delivered between 11-3pm. At 2:30 I called and was informed that the delivery truck was stuck in the mud. We would still get our appliances, just later than planned. At 3:30 I receive an email that our delivery was rescheduled for Feb.14, for our area. This is totally unacceptable. I called the store and spoke to the manager and was told that the store no longer controls the delivery of their products, and they cannot help us. We cancelled the order and bought the same product at Best Buy! If you need something delivered, I do not suggest purchasing at Lowe's anymore.

I've been purchasing from Lowes for the past 25+ years. After Hurricane Katrina, I probably renovated 75 houses, using Lowe's as my primary supplier. Easily I've spent well over $300,000 during this time period, using the bid process often because of so many large purchases. For the past 5 years I have not shopped at Lowe's much, due to their changes in their return policies and the very often poor customer service and rude employees. Just this week I returned and item and received a store credit. I return to use the credit, only to have numerous problems with the store not being able to redeem my gift credit (using my license) for the employee inputted the wrong ID number in the system. This occurred at the Marrero, LA store (dealing with Bobby and Shannon), both of whom displayed poor customer service, as they were more interested in telling me what they couldn't do, versus finding a solution to a problem created by Lowes (and its system). Evenmore, the poor attitudes of both managers given my ongoing problems just made thing worse. They appeared to really care-less. I never raised my voice, yell, and behave inappropriately with the store. Yet, their unprofessionalism suggest, customer sensitivity training and a professional approach are greatly required. Honestly, I am "DONE" with Lowes. We are in the process of starting to build houses from "new construction." I'm sure Lowes has probably missed another $100,000 in sales from my company over the past 5 years and will in all likelihood miss out on thousands more. I take no offense to their business changes being made to secure individuals from stealing from the store, returning items they did not purchase, or employees following rules. All of this is appropriate for a business to be successful. Nonetheless, after about 10-12 times attempting to return items with a multitude of problems, regardless if I had a receipt, used my telelphone number or the My Lowes care ---- I am exausted... A very very unhappy former customer.

Low quality at Lowes. Landfill after 8 months

I bought a belt for $30 that fell apart after a few months. Lowes menswear refused to refund it even after photo evidence and lengthy phone calls because of their rigid 6 months return limit. Under Australian Consumer Law the belt was clearly not durable if it fell apart in 8 months. It seems to me that they have no pride in their products or respect for their customers. They have lost this customer for life.

Warranty service

7 months ago, I bought a freezer, but realized the gasket was leaking hot air through a small area. Contacted the extended warranty company, appointment made, appointment cancelled, after my waiting all day. I chatted on line about their new appointment date. That appointment got cancelled & now no one from the warranty company will respond. I had a buy a new freezer & had to dispose of quite a bit of food.
A friend will be paid to replace the gasket & he will sell the freezer for me.
Absolutely disgusted with lowes & their extended warranty policy holders.
If you do buy appliances there, don't even bother with the extended warranty coverage.

Lowes Online the WORST

Had the WORST experience with Lowes online. We ordered a wood mantel on line on Dec. 30th to arrive within a week. No updates and didn't arrive until Jan. 21st. Then when it arrived it was dropped in front of us and damaged it and driver said nothing. Opened it and it was damaged in 2 more places within the packaging - so most likely damaged at the store. Called for refund and pick up - the guys were very nice (not Lowes employees) were told they would arrive 12-4pm and didn't show up until after 6pm. Then no follow up from Lowes whatsoever! I guess they don't care about customers or customer service.

Friend in Need

A family member fell at their assisted living and while in the hospital I needed to get an ADA height toilet installed in their suite. I could never have delivered this item myself. The lowe's team went above and beyond. They called me ahead of time to get all the faculty details. Called again when they were 20 mins. Out so I could flag the facility and called again when they were outside so the facilities director could meet them to off load. This item is critical to my family member returning to their assisted living. Lowe's made this so easy and was very empathetic to our situation. We are very grateful for their help and understanding.

I purchased a DW@ Ft. Myers, FL store. Was promised delivery 2 days later. Never showed up or told me they weren't coming. Rescheduled. Same thing happened. Have not only called store where I have been placed on hold and disconnected so many times I lost count but also distribution center where same thing happens. Finally got store manager; not a problem solver when not on the clock. Asked for regional manager; was told he can't disclose that. REALLY? I have dealt over the years with Lowe's in 3 states and NEVER been treated as poorly.
