Booked a holiday with Love Holidays, RYANAIR return flight was cancelled last minute. We had to sort our own return flight at a cost of £400!
Love Holidays want nothing to do with the reimbursement or even helping us claim off Ryanair! Ryanair won't refund as we used a '3rd Party'. Both companies a shambles & will never use either again!
Nobody to talk to, only an online chat which is useless. Cancellation fee of £1800! Horrendous service from start to finish. Impossible to change the dates, still taking money out of my account for the wrong holiday. Disgusted. Will never book with this company (not sure if they're legit at this point) ever again!
Enough. The downfall started upon arriving at the airport to check in. The flight booking references provided by Love Holidays weren't valid on Ryanair's website meaning we couldn't check in online. This resulted in a £100 fee for two people to check in at the air port.
We were then very disappointed by the room provided at the hotel. This wasn't the hotel's fault but the photos and info provided when booking with Love Holidays was very false. The room was nothing like advertised - clearly a budget room, not what we had booked. Thankfully the hotel have us a new room after a few days of arrival but Love Holidays definitely let us down.
Do not work with love holidays, they are the biggest scam know to man. Cancellation fee of £599 even though their has been a death in the family and we can no longer travel. I have spoken with Marcus, Zizi, Andrew, Anatasia and Aloni along with 6 different members. You are passed from pillar to post. I have been on live chat for 72 hours and got no where. The services is absolutely disgusting and vile. My case has already been accepted by solicitors - firm case as well. Watch this company sink to the ground - disgusting.
Arrived at our hotel in Crete at 2am - nobody on reception, key to room wouldn't work. No help from Loveholidays - promised to contact hotel themselves and ring me back - didn't. Absolutely no customer service - I was almost desperate as we'd been travelling for 13 hours and all I got was " I'll ring you back - enjoy your evening." Would NOT use again or recommend

First of all we used loveholidays as we thought in this day and age it would be better to book with a "travel agent" This company is definitely NOT one.
My partner had a medical emergency so we contacted them to change our holiday date. When we called them they told us to phone easyjet to change the flight then contact them back to change the hotel after the flight change has been completed...isn't this the job of the travel agent?! We ended up calling easyjet and then loveholiday back as we were told to do. Night of the checking in I see a ticket for my partner leaving and me returning (No other tickets) even though loveholiday was showing 2 tickets outbound 2 tickets inbound. We then turn up at the airport and were told the change wasn't done correctly. We contact loveholiday. The adviser literally laughs down the phone to us and tells us there is nothing they can do. They can't even refund the hotel.
My partner and I have lost in several thousand now and did not get a holiday and have no refund still to date.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
My parents and I have both used loveholidays multiple times and never had an issue with them. Even when something has changed with our booking, you have to understand that they're a middleman pulling your package together so you don't have to sit and book everything individually yourselves.
I've been to Tenerife Park Europe countless times and never had an issue, the service is great, the comms from loveholidays is great and even when it's gone wrong or a flight provider has cancelled my flights loveholidays have given alternatives to fix the issue.
Lots of people complaining don't look at TripAdvisor or research the hotel they're going to and expect 5* service when they're booking a budget package holiday. If you're paying £300pp for all-inclusive for a week?!?! Stop expecting the service to be the same as if you paid £1500pp
Just received an email from RyanAir saying they don't accept bookings via a 3rd party, after 50 minutes of messing around. I now have to pay for Luggage each way even though I've paid for this directly through LoveHolidays.
Will be requesting a refund ASAP. So glad I managed to sort this out before I go away in 10 days.

When experiencing the most horrible holiday after paying for a 5* hotel treatment all inclusive. I was left speechless after not having a room for the first night of the holiday and sleeping in the lobby. Finding mold in the food. And when allocated a room the next day finding blood and a cockroach pushed me over the edge. When contacting love holiday for help. They basically told me to resolve it with the hotel after witness other guest getting refunds from non refundable booking and upgrades I was met with racial complaints from staff saying I am having a black issue. And there nothing they can do as they are overbooked I was forced to leave the hotel without a refund.
Love holiday please do better! As we booked with you as a travel agent and therefore should be aware of issues that people are facing.
Booked a holiday for May 2024 had a problem with my booking dates so changed them with loveholidays, paid an amendment fee to find out that you have to contact flight company yourself to ammend dates flight leaves one year earlier than date amendment, lost my flights to be told I have to rebook them again and pay for new flights on top of holiday cost, got no help from liveholidays on this matter just kept saying it was up to me to contact flight company to make the changes not their responsibility, had to cancel the whole holiday as new flights would have been an extra £450 to book. On Cancellation the company took £504 Cancellation fee total joke. Would advise anyone not to use this company as they only communicate via a bot and when you do get a human advisor they are of no help at all, just keep repeating its up to you to sort amendments out not them.
Don't use them book with a good company these are very unprofessional they just want your money... God help you if you get an issue because they ignore you. We booked a 4 * hotel and it was overrun with cockroaches... they did nothing to help we had 2 small children with us. Disgusting treatment
Loveholidays is by far the worst travel company I have used. Our flight was cancelled 2 weeks before our holiday and they were expecting us to pay an extra £1100 on top of a big balance we had just finished paying for. £1250 was spent on flights and they expected us to pay the £1100 on top of this which is absolutely disgusting considering, this was not our fault.
The customer service was appalling and all they kept offering us was more flights that ended up costing more.
We decided to get a refund for the whole holiday and book elsewhere. After spending 3 days trying to get in contact with someone, the response and time given was ridiculous and we did not feel like we were given a fair chance to save our holiday we had planned for a long time.
I will never be using their services again!
Booked holidays for November a package holiday airline changed flights which meant out of 7 day holiday if we took what they wanted to give us we would have only got 5 half days we have to contact the airline to cancel even though it was a package holiday you can't talk to anyone only sandy the bot never never again no after care service

An error occurred with Loveholidays 'mybooking' system. My wife and I booked HB at The Navarria Hotel, Cyprus, which some how was altered to B&B when I checked the itinerary prior to going on holiday. The only alteration I amended was the hotel transfer as we had a rental car. I received an email with a £30 refund, which I thought was a generous offer for cancelling the hotel transfer. I contacted an online agent who pointed out the alteration and this is when the agent informed me of the reason for the refund, I explained that I had no idea how the change had occurred and could the hotel booking be changèd back to the original HB. This was going to cost me an extra £200 for the alteration. How does an alteration from HB to B&B produce a refund of £30, yet to revert back it incurs a penalty of £200. Nice little earner for the hotel, yet it cost my wife and I an extra £300 on top of the holiday cost, due to having to eat out every night. On top of that, my wife is disabled, which is the reason we opted for HB in the first place.
Most definitely will not be using Loveholidays again in the near future
We were a group and they relocate us on different hotel after they amend the hotel. Guys we have payed for a particular one, a specific date and gues what they asked for extra charges.
We booked a holiday and we reconfirmed our luggage on the phone. However later on Airline EasyJet said what ever Love holiday reconfirmed was not correct an misleading. It is so difficult to get through to customer services and my phone was cut off 10 times before I get through to someone. I was promised to sort out the issues if there is any. I was further told if I disagree I can listen to the recordings of conversation. Later on when I asked for the recordings they refused to give it to me. It was misleading. The way it was presented on website and the way the call handler mentioned was very misleading and I wont be booking holiday with Loveholiday again in the future.
I made a mistake on my initial booking and they were hell to deal with. The small error cost me a fortune to add on two 2 year olds onto my booking. I tried to negotiate and plead with them to help me out, however, it was no good. It took them days to get back to me and on the chat it's hard also. They sent me the wrong details at one point, which was obviously a mistake. I would never ever go through them again, they put me through hell the last 4 days.
I ask for refund thay said no because I am not covered even I am covered with AOTL certificate. I was denied borrowing the plane the airline said to me I can gat a refund but loveholiday post to request a refund but thay never did because thay said to be can not be refunded
My partner had a heart attack five days before flying. Loveholidays refused a refund and also refused a change of name so my friend could come. This was despite easyjet being fine to change the name and the hotel telling me they had informed loveholidays they were fine with the change. If I had listened to loveholidays I would have lost the holiday. Instead I went and had a wonderful time.
