Loveholidays Reviews Summary

The overall reputation of Love Holidays reflects a significant divide in customer experiences. Positive feedback highlights seamless bookings and enjoyable trips, suggesting that when services function as intended, customers appreciate the value and convenience offered. However, a substantial number of reviews express deep dissatisfaction with the company's customer service, citing issues such as unresponsive support, mismanagement of bookings, and inadequate resolutions to complaints. Common concerns include poor communication, unexpected charges, and misleading hotel representations. This duality indicates a critical need for Love Holidays to enhance its customer service approach to ensure consistency and reliability across all interactions.

I said no, thats why we booked a package through you, what are you going do to fix this, Loveholidays call operator basically said, Your problem... good luck, followed by, Well you could've cancelled! I'd give zero if possible.
Contacted love holiday as I've booked a holiday for me my wife and our 17 year old daughter. Upon booking we were allocated a standard room for £2750. Just contacted them to say I'm looking at the upgrades and want to know the difference between a double room and the standard. She said the double has 2 beds and the standard has 1 bed. Said sorry I'm confused, we are expected to share a bed with our 17 year old daughter. She said yes a lot of our customers don't mind and we are diverse and do not discriminate. Never heard so much rubbish for ripping you off. Said this is not normal and surely there should be a disclaimer when booking to say all 3 of you are in the same bed. Replied there are customers who don't mind so we cater for them. If I want an extra bed they want an extra £1142.57 or for me to cancel they want nearly £1300. If someone from love holidays is reading this you should be utterly ashamed ruining people holidays before they get there and if they cancel stealing from them. There's no way we can go and share a bed with our daughter who's a young woman. Loveholidays please reply to state you think this is normal and you dont need to advise when booking as you "provide to a large audience and do not discriminate". This is morally wrong. We are not in cult. People get arrested for this kind of thing and your classing it as diversity. Hang your head in shame. Can't believe I'm left having to take legal action over 3 in a bed in 2023. Imagine one of your kids came home and said my 17year old friend shares a bed with their mother and father. Would you think they were diverse or would you be contacting social services because there's something really wrong with them. I have the conversation screen shotted if anyone want to see how little they care and thinks this is fine.

If I could zero stars I would. Booked a holiday through Loveholidays agent. Looked at hotel offering twin or double bedrooms. The agent via telephone assured me that I could get the double bedroom for £100 extra, so I booked as didn't want a twin. Turned up at the hotel and they only do twin rooms - they have never had double beds. I contacted Loveholidays the day I checked in to advise of the situation and ask for a refund of the difference in room price, because if I had known that they were all twins I wouldn't have paid extra. Their advertising is completely incorrect. I was told that they don't do refunds. I stated that I have paid for a service that doesn't exist. I asked for the complaints procedure or to speak to a manager. The agent denied my request saying the manager would tell me the same thing. Again I asked for the complaints procedure which she wouldn't give me - she just told me to contact the 'post holiday' team on my return. Which I did. They then denied the fact that I had contacted them during the holiday making my complaint invalid! I sent them screenshots of the conversation as proof which they ignored and never replied to me. Love Holidays falsely advertise accommodation, take extra money and then refuse to refund a service you didn't even get! Shocking. I will NEVER use again and advise against anyone else using this bunch of fraudsters either.

Beware that there is no customer service, you have no way of contacting them. There is no assistance.
I purchased a holiday to Turkey with my family, including flights (Corendon, which is not ideal), transfer, and hotel stay. The flight time was changed, which caused us to lose one day of the holiday. Also, they didn't arrange any changes in transfer time. Although I informed the transfer company, we arrived with no one waiting for us. Instead, I could have arranged all these separately myself, possibly cheaper.
On return, Corendon charged me 30 euros for check-in.
They said Loveholidays should have informed me that I should do online check-in, which they didn't.

Shocking Service
July 13, 2023

Contacted love holiday's today regarding our booking. I got an agent who really didn't have a clue how to help me. Seemed Ryanair had blocked the booking due to them being 3rd party company all very confusing and concerning when they've already taken your money. We spent 1 hour and half going around in circles with the agent it did not get resolved we asked for a manager was told nobody was available in coaching apparently and nobody called back horrific service. In the end my partner managed to sort it himself after this phone call we still don't know how we did it asking for further information and verification but we could not access the flight online to be able to trying to explain this over and over was hard work. I tried to stay calm but my partner was absolutely furious. Especially when the agent said we would need to contact Ryanair ourselves we said this is a total joke you booked our holiday your the 3rd party travel agent it's all there going say and the cost to contact Ryanair is unbelievable plus there customer service is not the best either we just found ourselves going round and round in circles. She also must of put us on hold three or four times maybe even five. I am so disappointed with the service we received and will not be booking with them again.

Joke of company. Triple check your details after buying any holidays. Pray you dont need to change your dates or flight otherwise youre on your own.
This service should defenitly should be under investigation, the scamming there is real. Be very careful, and avoid ag all costs. Booking.com *******% better in every possible way.
Please dont get insurance as well, is pointless, at least in my case. Tried to cancel my holiday and wasnt refundable.

Absolutely disgusted with love holidays put in a complaint as when we arrived for a four star hotel I. Evita resort we were told there was no rooms and taken to evita elite which was like being in fawlty towers without the fun! Nothing like what we paid for and they have decided to shut down my complaint as no proof! They moved us to another hotel far inferior cold food miserable staff didn't clean the rooms no towels absolutely awful I will never use this company ever again the whole hotel was full of people that didn't book there from sister hotels that were overbooked the rooms air conditioning leaked down walls onto floor electric cables out in the bathroom so disappointed never again! The fire alarm was just a back piece! The rating of one star is only because there's no minus

Shambles
July 10, 2023

Booked with these 13 months let down at the last minute upgrade to another hotel cost us an extra 130 euros for sea views like our previous hotel. Contacted 1 on chat then put through to another 1 Nicola tried to explain everything that went wrong with love holidays and she ended the chat. So I think people's comments bout love holidays being a scam company are right

Reading these comments left me shocked. I'm booking holiday no. 3 with them and the previous 2 have been perfect, seamless. Maybe it's when something goes wrong as luckily Iv not experienced any problems. It won't put me off booking future trips that's for sure. 10/10.

I wouldn't recommend booking with this company. I made a booking for 2024 and I noticed the price changed within a short period.
I contacted the support team who were not helpful at all.
I understand that flights cannot be changed so easily however the price decrease was on the accommodation only! As the booking lead time was so long, it is something that can be done but the customer support Nos was unwilling to do anything for me!
I have used this site a few times and I will not use again following this experience.
Very poor experience with the support team.

Terrible experience. Left traumatized.
No hot water for 2 days.
Cockroaches in stair case.
Room was refurbished but the rest of the hotel was undergoing building work.
Love hoilday customer service did not resolve the issue whilst we were on holiday for 48 hours. We came back to the UK and had a wash. This need to be resolved asap yet again no one is getting back I need a higher authority to investigate this issue with love hoilday packages and customer service

They changed our hotel and didn't say anything. Then offered us compensation for the transfer to move hotels. Their customer service is beyond a joke. When we returned home, they said as we were no longer abroad, they could no longer help us.

Stay away

Do not use this company at any cost. The service and advice is so appalling and incorrect. Upon needing to cancel a holiday with them they advised that the full amount should be paid and then not to turn up thereafter claim from my travel insurer as a 'no show'. Travel insurance does not cover for such eventualities, most holiday companies provide a refund albeit with a cancellation charge. LH refuse to do so and having regard to the advice given it seems they still want the full amount, this appears to be somewhat fraudulent asking for money when the holiday is to be cancelled!

Do not trust this company.
We booked a package all inclusive holiday with a sea view room, when we arrived at the destination airport there was noone there to transfer us to our hotel. I tried calling Love holidays and couldn't get through to anyone. It was after midnight, and the hotel was over 100km away. We ended up having to get a taxi which was on a meter, it cost us €180 just to get to our hotel.
Upon arrival it was like they weren't expecting us, I had seen other reviews saying the restaurant provided a meal/sandwiches etc when you arrive but everything was closed.
The room we were given was not the see view we had booked but a carpark view instead. We spent 2 nights in that room (out of 5 total) until the hotel were able to move us to a sea view room. The hotel had no record of the additional payment I made to secure a sea view room.
On our first day I got into a live chat with Love Holidays regarding our issues. The lady was very blunt and unhelpful about our issues, she said the hotel needed to sort the room, and the transfer didn't show on our booking (she said I specifically opted out of a transfer, which i know i didnt do) and couldn't be added for the return to the airport. She told me we had to make our own way back to the airport. When I told her we couldn't afford that she said it wasn't their responsibility and ended the chat.
The place we visited and the hotel we stayed in were beautiful, but Love Holidays really tainted experience and caused up quite a lot of worry.

Joke!
June 24, 2023

** I DO NOT RECOMMEND BOOKING WITH LOVE HOLIDAY* What an awful company to book a holiday with, not only did I pay over £500 for a holiday a few days before I was supposed to fly I was then told I had to £25 per seat £40 for a suitcase this was only one way so had to pay again for the flight home! When speaking with a lady trying to sort the problems out she couldn't have cared less and disconnected the call, what a joke of a company, i have to print my own boarding pass which isn't an issues from the UK but in a foreign country where do I go and get board passport printed out? Haha. So decided not to go and lost £500 as they wouldn't issue any refund
