Terrible service

When my parcel arrived from Look Fantastic it was soaked in shampoo due to poor packing of my order.
I therefore sent the shipment back and filed a complaint that has been pending for weeks.
Today, almost a month later, l am still waiting for my products that I payed for on Black Friday.
I have urged customer service to resolve the issue by simply replacing the damaged products that was returned to them.
I'm sorry to say that their level of service is terrible, which is a shame since their product range and offers are good.

Ordered 3 things off the website as a Christmas gift. Two weeks later, an email saying my items (!) have been despatched, two days later I get told two of my items have been cancelled. This company is a joke. Don't waste your time using them. One star only because I can't give no stars.

Worst service

I know that we are living in a difficult time now, but I've already received all of my orders from other shops. While the order I placed with lookfantastic hasn't even been dispatched yet. I placed it more than 10 days ago, I paid for it fully.
Their customer service team just don't answer. I can't event express how disappointed I am with such kind of service.

I strongly recommend NOT to buy from them.

Dishonest and untruthful

I have ordered sunblock from the website. It was showing that the sunblock will be delivered within 2 working when I ordered. 10 days have passed and still nothing is delivered. It is really bad to mislead customers into buying from the website and not to deliver. I am extremely upset as I got need to on travel to a sunny location and I need to use this sunblock and I still don't have it. I got melanoma and the dishonest and untruthful updates and behaviour created anxiety and makes me desperate to find alternatives now as it is clearly I will won't receive the order from you after more than two weeks from ordering.

It took me almost 2 weeks to get the parcel. I have to buy another shampoo from the store to wash my hair. Can't believe there is a such slow delivery in 2020!

When I opened box, the shampoo liquid was everywhere in the box. 1/3 of the shampoo was out of the bottle! I was going to return the parcel but there is no delivery note in the box telling how to return. I guess there is no return policy for the customers. Terrible purchase experience. Worst of the worst. I will never purchase from this company again no matter what promotion they have.

I received an email offering a code receive a free bundle with my order (they have many coupons for black Friday but I chose the bundle) I applied the code and after I checked out I realize that the bundle wasn't in my cart. I messaged them instantly and they said that the bundle was subject to availability (the email says. The content of the bundle may vary due to availability) THE CONTENT not the full bundle. I've been going back and forth with their horrible customer service and their response is 'we are not able to add the bundle manually to your order' 100 times. And have given me other 10 different responses.

I ordered the advent calendar for my wife on the 25th of Sept., with 2 months to Christmas I thought there would be able time for the logistics, how wrong was I! It is now the evening of the 1st December, and there is still no sight of the shipment, a customer service agent answered my complaint and informed me if I haven't received anything by the 9th December(!) to get in touch. What is the point of a 24 day advent calendar if it does not arrive before the 1st December.

My husband purchased Sukin Skin Cream for his daughter and it arrived with tatty torn boxes and appears really old. I have tried in vain to reach the Company but after wasting my whole afternoon i feel exhausted by it and have to give up. I have now read the reviews and wished I had before this fiasco started. I have just checked the seals on the creams and they are broken. We are OAPs trying to give a lovely Christmas gift. Stay away from this site!

They sell fake products

They sold me products that are fake. One is an IPL permanent hair reduction that does not look like the product pictured in the instruction manual, it is missing the leds that indicate the power level, the product looks suspicious and when pluged into the electrical plug it does not do anything. In the instruction manual it says that all the led lights have to blink when inside the plug. If the button is pushed nothing happens, so its a plastic toy soled for the price of a IPL.

For several weeks now I have been trying to obtain a returns label for a faulty order (one item was a powder which smashed and leaked all over the other one)

Not only have they not apologised, they're actually WITHHOLDING my right to return until I can supply them with a "clearer image".

At first I was willing to help and sent them pictures, but after getting the same message for weeks it's clear they're being deliberately obstructive.

What about older people who don't own a smartphone and order from desktops? Are you going to penalise them too?

LookFantastic - My order number is *******. Enough messing me around, if I don't receive your return address by the end of the week I'm going to my bank to reclaim the funds.

I have been buying from Lookfantastic…

I have been buying from Lookfantastic for some time now, and more than once I noticed that something was not right with some of the products received (as the previous reviewer also mentioned). More than once, I received quite pricey creams that looked battered and I was convinced were samples. I know this for certain as I have worked in the beauty industry for many years and I know what samples look like. I left comments and reviews on the products on the page itself, warning people about this. At another instance, I had to send a product back, as they had sent me the wrong shade (foundation), and they absolutely refused to send me a refund. Over a month past, I had to start a case with PayPal to resolve the case.
The last drop was my very latest order from them a few days ago. I ordered a hair serum, together with other products, which arrived fully damaged. No packaging, no seal with its pump broken. There was literally no pump tube inside the bottle. The product is basically unusable as its quite hard and won't even pour out. It needs a pump! So, I took pictures of this, and contacted their customer service, asking them to either replace the faulty item or refund me, and here is were their demeaning behaviour began. Firstly, I do not think that they have an actual customer care team, because no self-respecting business would handle their customers in this manner.
The first reply to my email was a brush-off apology, offering me 10% refund! I couldn't believe my eyes. I paid full price for a new product they failed to send me, and now instead of rectifying their mess, they are being disrespectful. I sent another message, already agitated, asking them to please honour their customers and make-up for the mistake they have made. To this, I get another email that looks EXACTLY like the first one, word-to-word, this time they are offering a 15% refund! I felt like I was at a cheap, side alley market with a thief seller that's shamelessly looking for ways to exploit the customers. How revolting. They never solved anything for me, and I'm sure I'm not the first and the last customer they did this to.
I will never again order from them, and strongly advise anyone who respects their hard-earned money and mental health to stay away from this page. Instead, support the smaller businesses, which are not as huge and actually run a respectful business, respecting their customers and operate with integrity.

I purchased Beauty Chest on Lookfantastic website few weeks ago. Hours after I've placed my order, the Chest becames out of stock, and I had a snicky suspition that my order will get cancelled. It got cancelled few days later. It would not be a problem, but in order to get £15 off the chest I have also sing up for beauty box subscription. Since I wasn't getting the full order, I wanted to cancel the whole thing. It wasn't easy, let me tell you. It took countless emails to get subscription cancelled. What's really annoying, they wouldn't let me return October box, even though it was unopen, as website stated that this item is non-refundable. Dear Lookfantastic, a news flash for you, your website also said that Beauty Chest was in stock, but that want't true, was it? Nevermind, I am sure, Cult Beauty will be more than happy to take my money. Be sure to enjoy that £14,50 you have forced me to spend on your website.

Items never shipped

I made an order over 1 week ago. Order #*******. My order was never shipped. The customer service number is not working and the live chat unavailable. I contacted them via FB and Twitter. I received poor responses from s bunch of incompetent people. They were extremely unhelpful and have not shipped the order. Fortunately I paid via PayPal, so they will reimburse me immediately. They are terrible! Please avoid using Look Fantastic at all costs.

UPDATE: I have been in communication with Look Fantastic via Twitter. I was fed a pack of lies! Apparently the items in question are a "pre-order". SMH NO WHERE DOES IT STATE ON THE WEBSITE that these items were "pre-order". Neither was I informed when making payment that these items were "pre-order" and would be receiving them on a specific date. My purchase order states that the items would be shipped on 26/10/20. There is no record in the transaction of my purchase being a "pre-order". Luckily for me, I made my purchase via PayPal so I will go ahead and stop payment immediately. Please stay away from Look Fantastic, they have numerous bad reviews and are untrustworthy.
