This is my second order from Lift Support Depot. The first was for boat hatches, these are for my Ford F250 hood. Cylinders fit as designed and work fine. Hopefully they will last longer than the factory units.

Trunk lift supports work well but the hood lift supports do not hold the hood up at all. I bought the strong arm brand because they have a higher rating then the stock hood struts but they don't even work as well as the stock ones. Very disappointing

I cannot collapse the lift support to fit into the cabinet. I have tried everything even bending the support bracket into which it fits.

Hard to find in Australia but we were advised that your company could supply a substitute gas strut.
