Ok
September 30, 2019

Been happy up to today. Started getting pop-ups to meet women, Ed ad clearly naked silhouette of a woman, they told me to take a screenshot which isnt working like they don't know what's on there? So I'll be deleting the app. It's been great up till today. What can I expect for a free app.

Invasive time waster
September 9, 2019

The whole model is flawed - encouraging window shopping not sales. Notification system annoying (I don't want to be altered that someone favorited my item... I mean - what use is that? That same flawed reasoning / UX rational is everywhere.

Also seems to breed an environment of creepy, flaky people. Makes Craigslist trade seem like normal folks.

Dead these days
September 1, 2019

This app/site used to be a competitor to Facebook Marketplace, but as such when you allow people to make accounts without identities you run into crooks.
This has become one of the worst apps, the last update to the app to make everything nicer ruined the app as it completely altered the algorithm forcing lesser viewed items to be higher than more popular ones.

Second thing, people hiding their faces.
Maybe it's just me. But I think every app needs to reach the same scale the Uber, & Lyft have.
Requirement to use a picture with your face in it, if not you can't message anyone.
It provides safety to the app and who you'll be dealing with. If they pull some shady stuff then you can run their info through to the police.

Another weird niche thing I'd like to see is a message limit.
The person must respond to every message you send so they can not spam you.

Over all though this app is a hollow skeleton of what it once was.
Eventually I see this app turning out the same way 5miles did, it had a good run but eventually turned into a scammers paradise and a very untrustworthy app that the development team fell behind on maintaining.
It's now full of crooks.

Too Pushy
September 1, 2019

This app used to b pretty good. But it has gone to crap the last year. They change your Title to something completely irrelevant to what u posted. Why even change it? They take it upon themselves to send a PM to ppl that u liked or saved there posts. I kept getting these PM s from ppl that I didn't even contact about there item. I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone

I listed several items on this site. The people who contacted me claiming to be interested only wanted personal info. I blocked most people who contacted me. All were phishing. Worst experience and no legitimate offers. A total waste of time. I will never use this site again and recommend people stay away

No sales
August 11, 2019

People look, occasionally favorite, and buy zilch. And I'm not interested in paying for ads so more people can see my stuff for sale and still none of it gets bought. They're great items, too, at decent prices. As for the app itself, seems ok. Probably just way more sellers than buyers know about it to go there.

Terrible app ever
August 7, 2019

I sold my jewerly. I sent it thru mail to other country. I found out it was a Scam. There is no way to find the buyer who did not pay the item. And there is no where to ask for support to figure things out. All of my previous conversation gone that I can't even address issue on letgo app. No customer service. No trust worthy.

The app was great when it came out but now its got server overload issues and so many OOPS messages refusing to load every time i open it. Sometimes takes 3 to 6 tries before i finally give up. They need to fix that or im removing the app. As you can see in my snap shot im on wifi and have data and no other app does this on my phone but this one.

Am I the only one?
July 26, 2019

Am I the only one? I have a high priced one of a kind trunk for sale and I've gotten numerous responses but each one ends up saying account being moderated and the people disappear I think let go just wants me to think I have interested buyers... feels like a scam!?

Search results suck. Search a camera using the terms "Nikon D3200?" Three rows of results with luggage, cars, who the hell knows what? The D3200? Doesn't even show under a specific search, but does under a search for another item. WTH? Happens with every search I do regardless of item searched.

I hate the "new alert" badge on my iphone LetGo icon for their stupid notices - just let me know when someone responds to my in-app communication. Notices are friggin' STUPID and irrelevant, can't find a way to turn off.

And the buyers? Echoing everyone else here. Still Available? Willing to Negotiate? I'll respond "yes, would you like to meet?" Crickets. Flakers. Tweakers. Broke-$#*! losers who try to negotiate a steal of a deal of $10 for a $100 item down to $5. GTFO.

OfferUp and a far second to Craigslist. Those are where all my deals are done. F' Letgo, TOTAL waste of time.

LetGo
July 6, 2019

I have to agree with everything people have said about LetGo. It's a trash app. Craigslist is so much better in every way! Too many people just want to jip you down. I've sold some high end products on Craigslist but everybody on LetGo wants to Jew you down.

Where do I begin... I signed up in 2018, I started selling things that I had and few buys on things. I was only stood up once. Now fast forward one year & people ask if it's still available, reply yes, no one responds back. People ask me if the price is negotiable I say yes what's your offer, no reply back. Had a guy say he wanted to buy my item, he would be there at 11 a.m. the next morning, I asked him if anything changed and he wasn't coming to please just let me know, he said OK. Guess what? No call no show. Yesterday I had one guy offered me double what my item was worth to drive 40 minutes and drop it off. He ran me around for an hour saying I was in the wrong place when clearly I think he just did to have fun, this was at close to midnight when this was happening... so after an hour of trying to play tag. I said that's it I'm done and I left. I said, if you want the item you have to come to me, what a jerk!
Also people will send 2 or 3 messages and I don't get them till 3hrs later and the no one will reply to me.
I honestly do not think let go cares or checks on their customers that use the app. I think it's all a scam just so they can make their money on trying to feature items because one year ago when I signed up they didn't pester you every 5 Seconds to pay the money to move your listing to the top which is bull because Craigslist you can renew every few days and bring you back up to the top of the list for free. I will stick to Craigslist and eBay from now on I believe. I'm trying out Offer Up too, but I have a feeling it may be be like Letgo.

NOTHING BUT FLAKES
July 5, 2019

I can't really blame Letgo for this, but the people on this app have all the reliability of Craigslist on crack. Even when I post good quality FREE items, I get loser after loser telling me they want it but they never show up! I really didn't think anything could be worse than Craigslist but Letgo was like "HOLD MY BEER."

It's only 5.00
July 4, 2019

Handyman services, right... only 2 replied and 1 turned out to be a jerk, and the rest ignored me questions and interest.
I have Ralph Lauren Polo for sale, 5.00 each.
What's to negotiate? It's only 5.00! So many people try to bargain you down, its stupid! If thye cant afford 5.00 per shirt, they might as well not waste my time. Then the ines who ask srupid questions (kids?). Or they say theure on the way and dont bother to show up, wasting my time. Theyrs too many to list, but they ask dumb questions or want a pic of each shirt... or they're just being stupid and waste my time. Or they're rude. I can't tell you how many I've had to block... so sad...

June 19, 2019

Very poor search engine. Probably little to NO testing done before putting the app out for customers to use. Horrible app. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is seriously trying to buy or sell anything. Only good for browsing ads when bored. Too bad i HAVE to give it at leas one star.
