1st I'd like to say I got low balled, by *******@gm, never deal with this person, 2nd there's not much protection for the buyer, a site like this Carrie's little to no real help in trying to retrieve your stolen funds, and hold accountability upon those who wish to do business as a seller. My first experience with letgo will be my last. Also try not to use Google pay, there review of the transaction was to fast and given the evidence I provided, spent almost no time in reviewing the situation fully and thoroughly, so far I out $200 dollars, theses sites need to gather more information in order to hold sellers more accountable for there fraudulent activities. I hope this review helps those seeking insight..

They allow sellers to over post the same ad from the same seller or over post the same service.
You can report them until your fingers fall off but Letgo ignores the alerts they ask members to report.
You can also include quotes from the Letgo Community Guideline page but don't waste you energy.
This site is getting to be a clone of Offer Up and Craig's List.
Try searching for lawn care, handy man or just randomly thumb through the ads.
Goes to show you that you the "do as I say, not as I do" method is well and alive at Letgo!

My interactions with most buyers have been less than stellar. Maybe its the area I'm in but most buyers have been flaky AF. Between the buyers and the app asking for lower listing prices, don't expect to get your asking price on your items. It has become such a PITA that it's not worth listing on this app anymore.

The app crashes quite a bit. I get an email notification that I received a message, then I check the app and the message doesn't appear. The app constantly asks to list premium listings. I have had too many issues with the app and buyer and sellers. The Offer Up app was much better but once they merged apps it has been terrible. I'm pretty much done using this app.

I just started selling on Letgo about a week ago and I have sold 3 items. Which is great but then I get a young woman who asked about an item minutes after I had posted it asking if it was still available, I told her yes and she asked for my address and asked if 5:00 was ok to pick up the item... I told her it was. 5:00 came and went so I messaged her and asked of she still wanted the item and she never answered... I tied 2 more times and there was no more communication from her... disappointing to say the least but I'm hoping this doesn't happen a lot.

This app is the worst. When we lived out West we had no issues with selling and meeting up with legit buyers. Out East we've had three times in a row of buyers with "verified" accounts and good member reviews have good communication then completely flake and no-show at the meeting point. I think it's a bunch of kids making accounts and verifying each other's accounts and messing with people all day long. I have no other explanation! I will not proceed with selling anything else on this complete waste of my time app. There needs to be a better verifying system in place and accountability if you flake. So pissed!

I get somewhat amused by the ratings of the so-called "Sellers" from the site. The sellers share a huge part of the failure of this buying/selling platform. Based on my experience when I find an ad that is over a year old I have no choice but to ask the question "is this still available?" 9 out of 10 times i get NO reply. It makes a person wonder, did they die? Or did they just abandoned their account? Or they just being rude? Or they're not serious about selling anything? Or they're tired of answering questions? I am forced to ask questions about something that I'm interested in because the sellers descriptions are very vague. I mean like really, you post a crappy picture of a saw and the title says "saw" and in the description says "works good..." LOL seriously? Then these crybaby sellers wonder why they get so many questions? Some of the pictures you can't even see what brand the saw is. So at least if you're going to take a lousy picture put it in description who makes it or a model number and brand name. Now here's where you put the rest of the blame on letgo themselves because they need to enforce sellers to post more than one picture, type more than one word in the description and when they don't answer your messages disable their accounts and simply tell them you're not a serious seller we don't want you here. The sad thing is letgo refuses to make any changes to make the platform better they just sit back and suck their advertisers dry until one day those advertisers will wake up... and let THEM go.

I was using the letgo app, for 2 days, and I had over 80 so called responds, to a truck that I am selling. So, with those 80 responds, I would keep getting: "Is it still available?", and "What kind of condition is it in"(well look at the photos, idiots, I feel) over and over again, while I waste my time in typing back and never any responds back to me. Then a lady named Stormy Daniels sends me a phone #- because she wants to buy the truck, so I call, and she gets my address to come to my house the next day, but she never does or calls me back. I think letgo is a scam, in having people that work for letgo, sit on their computers all day and respond back to the people using the app selling, getting "your" information and BS-ing you. Go elsewhere- letgo is a waste of time!

I really don't know what their deal is. I use multiple media to buy from. I have yet to buy it sell using app. I have looked at products. Somehow, I am flagged. They do NOT respond at all. This is crazy. I was looking to buy a mud range car. Lost for them. But really, no phone number to contact them. No help. How can this be good or helpful. Please beware. They have no support, they have no ethic. Very irresponsible.

LetGo apparently has a automatic ban system in place once you get enough reports on your account. I had an account I bought from and gave away stuff on for over a year with no problem. I tried to sell something and I was banned within a few hours. Anyone with multiple accounts can easily snuff out their competition with a few clicks. LetGo does not do manual ban reviews and customer service will not bulge when it comes to unbanning an account. Even when you did absolutely nothing wrong.

Im confused after reading all the horrible reviews below. It must be the location because where I live, I am very successful on Letgo. I sale at least 3 items a week from local people who live within 15 mins. From me. They message me about wanting the item and we agree on a place to meet. I even purchase items and again everything has been fine( so far). Noone is phishing for my info. Noone has agreed to meet then flake, etc. I also sell nice items with great prices. I feel sorry for Letgo because all the bad experiences yall below have had is ruining their business. Smh smh, im still so shocked at what i just read. Maybe yall selling dirty worn out stuff for ridiculous prices? I love Let go it has allowed me to use the side hustle for gas money, lunch for work, shopping for housegoods, cigarettes (lol) and not having to slide out my debit card for everyday purchases.

I am wondering if apps like Letgo are simply beyond their expiration date. I've read many of the 1-star reviews and agree with nearly all of them. The buyers--if they're even real--behave not like responsible people but complete idiots. I've had several buyers message me with, "When can I pick it up?" and then completely flake out. It makes me pine for my eBay days, when the fees were high, but at least the buyers were f*cking real!
