The sunglasses we sent to Lesabl to make the lenses into prescription took way too long; plus, there was no one to talk to! You have to leave a message, and "someone will get back with you within 24 business hours" (read 3 days!). We did receive a couple of emails stating the glasses would be ready in a couple of days, but until yesterday's delivery, I thought we had been scammed. On the positive side, the prescription was filled correctly, so my wife looks forward to using them while driving.
This was my 4th time to Lensabl. NEVER AGAIN. I purchased sunglass frames from you: They took 2 1/2 weeks despite the 8 day mention on the website AND 6 emails from customer service saying "expected to ship tomorrow." Well, they finally arrived. They are bent and did not include the Rayban case that comes with every pair of ourchased Raybans in the world. Pictures were sent to customer service. You've lost my business, my wife's business, and anyone I talk to from here on out.
My prescription is for distance and I got sunglasses for reading and I can't see the distance.
Only received 1 pair of glasses. Tracking number on box does not match number on Lensabl website. Where are my other glasses?

I have nothing but good things to say! I had purchase these frames that I loved and I went to 3 different optometrists and they all told me they couldn't put my prescription in them. Gutted I googled to see if maybe I could find an online service and I saw Lensabl! I was a little skeptical, but they made it so easy! Upon receiving my new now prescription frames I'm soooo happy! The new lenses are excellent! The problem is, I sent the frames to you in a brand new Ray Ban Aviator case. I didn't realize that I would not get it back. The white case you sent me is too large and awkward to carry. Won't fit in my Jean pockets and takes up too much space in the map pocket of my truck. I suppose it would be fine if I carried a purse, but being male, that's not going to happen. I would like you to return my Ray Ban case. Thank you.
The online eye test only works to confirm if your prescription is the same. At the end of the exam, if your prescription has changed, you are advised to take an in person exam. This is not made clear up front, and I paid for and took the test thinking this would tell me what the updated prescription would be. Now I have $25 less dollars and still need an eye exam. Boo.
I received my glasses back yesterday, very happy with the lenses. The turn around time was has advertised and they're communication was good.

My glasses arrived today with a loose lens on the right side that obviously wasn't secured during the time the lens was made. I need to send them back. Mentioned it to customer service yesterday evening upon opening the package.
Sunglass lenses --basic with nonprescription took over a month. Came out nice but a month? The automated tracking with " estimated shipping within three business days" was useless as it kept stating the above for two weeks. Apparently lenses did not pass inspection so they had to start the process over. Whats funny was I got an apparently automated "How likely are you to recommend Lensabl? " email message before actually receiving the sunglasses. Try actually sending your surveys and tracking info manually after finishing each process instead of the automated methods.
I requested returning my lenses for a redo because the first job was done in such a poor slipshod manner. After almost a month of waiting, yesterday I received them. The Tom Ford frame was obviously damaged with part of it sheared off and clearly not reparable. It was obvious to the person who packed it for shipping because it was the first thing noticed when opening the box.
Endless emails over weeks with excuses for the poor quality work prior to returning them, which have had absolutely nothing to do with the quality of their lab's poor quality and performance. Now after spending over $300 just for the lenses they returned to me this, my expensive frame damaged.
I've used Lensabl in the past and never had an issue. Everything was perfect, the quality of their work was excellent as well as turnaround time, and my expensive frame returned, undamaged. This however has been the polar opposite in every way. The customer service, abysmal and argumentative.

Had new prescription lens put into a pair of Ray Ban frames (daddyO) Glasses arrived today, they are perfect. Process took longer than expected (Conn is a long way from Calif) In hind sight I should have mailed in my frames instead of requesting a box, I'm very pleased with the results.
I love my costly frames that I bought years ago and Lensabl replaced the lenses with my updated Rx quickly. The process and the explanations of what exactly was needed were super easy. This is my 2nd set of frames where I just replaced the lenses. The box for my frames arrived quickly. Then I submitted the OCH and PD photos as directed. My glasses arrived quickly. It all depends on how quickly you send the glasses and required photos. My experience was great and I love the blue light blocking addition since I'm in front of a computer all day. No complaints here!

It has been over two months since I ordered lenses for a frame I love. I am in the process to secure a refund from this company.
Long story, It took a while for the shipment box to come but no big deal, I wasn't in a hurry. I sent my frame in. After I shipped off my frame, I heard nothing from Lensabl for weeks. In October, they contacted me about they broke my frame trying to install the lenses. They requested that I sent them the link for them to re-purchase the frame so they can replace my frame and complete the order. Okay, these things happen, just unlucky I guess. So I sent them the link to buy my replacement frame.
After this I heard nothing from them. I contacted them two weeks later trying to find out what was happening. They told me they are still waiting for the frame.
Another two weeks went by, still heard nothing. I wrote them again, this time they told me somehow the order of my frame was lost. This whole saga has been a complete joke. I paid them for the lenses in Sept. Not only have not not gotten my new lenses, my frame has been broken and not replaced. I am now struggling to get a refund!
Communication has been horrendous with company. Apart from the one time they emailed me about having broken my frame, I had to email them to get any sort of update. It often takes them days to reply to a email. All the while I have already paid them over 100 dollars upfront for the lenses.
I still don't know if I will get a refund. It has been two days since I emailed them asking for a refund. Heard nothing back yet.
Do not buy from this company, Money taken for months, no frame, no lenses.
I ordered these for an international flight to see my daughter and grandchildren. They arrived with the wrong prescription, and although I received excellent customer service in making and replacing the lenses, they did not make it in time for my flight and therefore were all but useless.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
