Had two frames that needed new lenses. Website was easy to navigate, they sent a box for me to mail the old frames in with a prepaid label. Had to upload my script, and take some simple pictures. Turnaround was pretty quick, about two weeks. Came in the mail and turned out great! Only negative was that the transition lenses didn't get as dark as I thought they would. But that's not a flaw of the business, I never had them before so my expectation was off.
Everything is great and normallly love your lenses ( third time repeat customer) but my recent lenses I purchased are flawed (see picture). There is a weird distracting shadow surrounding my right lense and the polarization is very weak. ( not noticeable). I need a new set of lenses made please! Once fixed issue it will be a full 5 star review:)
Quick turnaround. Fit is great. The only thing is that the Transition lenses don't get as clear inside as I would like.

It was very easy sending my frames off and tracking the progress on the website, but after about a week and a half, I noticed that the "estimated time until shipped" showed "6 days" and wasn't changing. I reached out to customer support to ask if they had an update and they said that it was going to take longer because I ordered the anti-fog coating. Still, the website wasn't updated to give me a better idea when they would be finished. I mailed my frames to them on July 22 (priority) and didn't receive the completed frames until august 15. If you don't mind waiting 25 days for your glasses, then I'd go with Lensabl.

The whole process was very easy, but when I received the frames with the new lenses, the frame was uneven and not quite right. The frame was returned lopsided and uneven, making the glasses not usable. I've tried adjusting them (basically gently twisting the frame) and have gotten them almost to the point that they can be used. Not what I expected for the price.
Terrible company and bad customer service. Not only did they break my favorite frames that I've had for at least a decade, they weren't super apologetic when they told me about it. Their only offer of recompense was for me to pick out a new set of frames "of similar value" or send them a receipt for my frames for a refund. Since I obviously wouldn't have a receipt from that long ago (and why are they imagining people are buying frames and then turning around and sending them to lensabl for lenses? You would just buy the lenses at the same time), I picked out another set of frames. Didn't hear anything back for 3 weeks, so I emailed customer service. Turns out the lenses I picked were out of stock. WELL THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW. To reiterate: I had to reach out them to find out the frames were out of stock.
So I picked out another set of frames. Another 3 weeks went by. I emailed customer service again. They said my lenses would be shipped in 1 business day. It was more like 5, but okay. I finally got a pair of frames, which were okay, but the lenses are kinda crappy. The coating is too reflective so it's hard to see out of them. I doubt I'll ever wear these frames that aren't my frames anyway.
I would not recommend this company to anyone, except maybe someone I really disliked. Go to a reputable place to get your lenses updated and give these clowns a hard pass.
While I'm happy to get my glasses back the lenses are making certain things appear unbalanced and uneven. The prescription is a little bit off.
This is my second time sending these glasses in because the first lenses were warped and I didn't realize it until I received the second pair I had made by you guys months later. I just assumed it was me adjusting to the new prescription. Since it was a few months after you would not fix them so I finally decided to just bite the bullet and pay for them to be redone and I received the wrong frames in the mail. I'm still waiting for customer service to get back to me.
The experience was very easy, and the customer service was absolutely spectacular! My glasses are perfect and I love them so much!
I've had prescription sunglasses for a few years that I liked but after cataract surgery was unable to wear them as I no longer need prescription glasses. I found the Lensabl site online and decided to give them a try. They mailed a box for me to send them my sunglasses to have the lenses replaced. I mailed my sunglasses to them. In a short amount of time my sunglasses were returned to me with new non-prescription lenses. The service of Lensabl was done quickly, they did a nice job replacing the lenses. The lens replacements are of quality material. The sunglasses were shipped back quickly with a nice Lensabl case and a useful cleaning kit. I would say this was a very good experience to work with this company and Lensabl does quality work.
I would not be hesitant to work with this company again and would recommend them to anyone needing lens replacements.

My frames are awesome (from Slik) The prescription is just right. I have to say the length of time this has taken has been ridiculous, maddening and has clouded my whole experience. I don't feel the same joy about these glasses now. Quite a disappointment. 4 months is wayyyyyyyy too long and I will never do business with you again. I feel it is a shame because I have two other pairs from Slik that I need to have prescription lenses for. My two vacations were spent without current prescription sunglasses. I am just disappointed and will not recommend your business or service to anyone. I reviewed you on the Better Business website and I am not the only one to have this opinion. I should have done this before using your services. I would think this was important as it has cost you at least one repeat customer. I am glad to have this whole transaction over with.
Not only did I get my lenses replaced, I got ALL new cases (4) and lens cleaner. I've been telling anyone that will listen how great lensabl is.
My glasses did not work properly. Communication via email was extremely inefficient. The process took entirely too long. I was told i need additional information from my optometrist. When the reason I chose you was because you advertised that i didn't have to leave home. Then after I was issued a refund my frames were returned without my original lenses. So 2 months of waiting and adjusting and I ended up with less than I started.
Very good work. Fast and inexpensive which is A+. Will be recommending this company many times over.

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
