This company is a scam, dishonest, and a complete joke! I've had a card with them for years. I had a $300 limit and without any warning they lowered it to $100 limit. They had no answer why and considering I paid my balance on time each month I couldn't believe this. The woman on the phone was VERY rude when I tried to find out what had happened. I recently read up on the company and found that this happens quite often. I'll never shop here again. Pathetic and disgraceful!
The Lane Bryant near my home closed down so now I have to travel 78 miles and 1 1/2 hours one way to shop at their store. For starters there was a huge buy one get one 50% off sign in store. I took advantage of the "sale" started to drive home & had to pull over to look at my receipt. In doing so I realized I was over charged, never getting the 50% off. I drove back to the store & they fixed the error stating they didn't understand why I didn't get the 50% off. In paying my bill in full by mail I called customer service to question why my bill was 80 cents more than what I actually owed. It took 5 phone calls as I kept getting disconnected when asking for a supervisor & 55 minutes to learn the 80 cents was the insurance I put on the card 6 yrs ago when I opened the account. I'm fine with the 80 cents I'm not fine with the fact such a simple question of "Why is my bill more than the amount on my receipt," taking 55 min to resolve. I've always paid my bill in full before the due date but this 6 year customer is done with Lane Bryant. To far to travel and to much aggravation. Plenty of other stores to take my money without the hassle.
For some reason twice now I have received my annual flyer with the $15 off coupons past the expiration date. I got the coupons today on November 15 and the coupon expired on November 13. Whoever is doing their marketing and sending these out should be fired for this! I can't ever use my coupons since they always send them so late they are already expired!
This Company is horrible for internet orders! I returned items over a month ago and still have not received credit to my PayPal account. Don't order anything on line.
First of all, I recently purchased bras from Lane Bryant online. However, when I received them, they were poorly made. For example, Lane Bryant should not be compared to Walmart material, poorly fitted bras with padding that bunches up and cannot be fixed. Another problem I have is how expensive they are, yet I expect the material to be what I paid for. Last, I decided since the customer service is so unprofessional, and chooses to show poor attitudes, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
I went to the Lane Bryant store in Queenbury NY, asked the sales lady for guidance in purchasing jeans that don't stretch out of shape. She steered me to the mid-rise jeans saying they held their shape, etc. Well... after trying on, purchasing, (they had to order size 22 petite and send them to me) washing and altering the hem, I put them on and within less than 2 hours they were stretched out at least 1 size larger! I had to keep hiking them up so they wouldn't fall down. Why on earth are they making these jeans? They are supposed to be skinny jeans and there is at least 4-5 inches of room in the legs, seat and hips, nothing like the pictures on the website. Of course, they say you can't return after washing or altering, etc. I bought 2 pairs so wasted over $100. Don't rely on the photos, they are very misleading. Not happy at all.
In less than a six month time span I have been fitted three times, by three different employees NONE of these woman know anything about bras nor the proper way they are supposed to fit. They measure over your clothes, tell you the gore of the bra isn't flat because the cups are too big when a trained person would know they are too small. I have walked out of there with multiple cup sizes that are entirely too small and have lasted not even a year. Train these girls to give a proper bra fitting! The coconut creek store in Florida is horrible! None of those girls know anything about bras. They barely want to walk to get you one let alone fit you properly due to lack of education. HORRIBLE returned all 7 bras all different sizes.
Beware if you order an incorrect size online. LB won't pay for return shipping. It's difficult during this COVID pandemic to shop in the store so one has to order online. It was going to cost me 12 dollars to return a 20 dollar item. I won't be purchasing from this company again and I have been shopping with LB for 30 years
I purchase three panties and get 3 free online, when it was shipped I also received an email stating one of the panties were cancelled, I checked the order once I received it true enough I only received five. I called Lane Bryant because I was charged the full amount and I wanted my free panty no more than right! When I called Lane Bryant spoke to a representative he came back and told me the panty that I ordered was not in that color however I could choose a different color and size so I wanted to same size but a different color but they were going to charge me for the cost of the panty the promotional cost. My point is I shouldn't have been charged Anythink because I was already charged it came through my bank that I was charged the full amount that was not taken off since they canceled that panty. I was not rude to the representative I told her no I was not getting ready to pay for another one I did not want to purchase. She just said okay fine thank you have a great day. Like she did not care. Like really?
Ordered gift for mom on May 3rd. Shipped May 6th. Will not be delivered until May 29. Last time I use them again.
Firstly I must say this was the most horrible cx service I have ever called in to an establishment and gotten- I purchased an e-gift card and after a while I got lots of emails but not the actual e-card- so I decided to call in - after about wow! An eternity I eventually got a CSR on the line- this person apparently was new to this as she had no idea what I was saying she kept mumbling "um" to every other word she said - poor girl! - I then said I will call back - so I hung up with that person and called again- oh my! Why did I do that? This CSR- " Angelica" she answered like I disturbed her sleep- like she just jumped out of bed and the call disturbed- I know much of them are working from home but this girl was annoyed and angry- she kept saying she could not hear me when she clearly could - so I asked her what do you mean you cannot hear me? She yelled and said"I am speaking English and I said I cannot hear you? I then asked to speak to her supervisor and she just said NO! I was taken aback by this person - raw and nasty! - no cx service whatsoever ever! She was yelling and screaming at me- and yes! I did yell back! I then asked her her name and she yelled it out by spelling it back to me- very sarcastically- I did tell her she was acting like the "b"word as I was so annoyed and just wanted to get an answer to my question- she hung up the phone- I decided to call back again and after 30 mins hold she was on the line again- she is improper with her tone and very rude! Now I see why lane Bryant gets these reviews - these girls need training in how to handle the public! Disgusting behavior- and this Angelica needs to know it is a job and not a slumber Den - where she clearly was disturbed when the call was answered - I regret ordering from lane Bryant- and I am now looking for a refund of my funds as I want no part of them! Horrible! HORRIBLE! Cx service- I am so disgusted! I could not submit without placing a star- they deserve nothing!
Very rude associate. Unfortunately I did not see her name tag. Short African American woman, very short hair. I was getting ready to check out and decided to try a top on. I stood off to the side to ask if I could set my things down on the counter while I tried it on. She very loudly firmly said the line is over here, I said I'm just asking if I could leave my purchase there while trying on the top. She hesitated with her response and said "leave them over there". When I was ready to check out I was the only one at the counter waiting, she was standing at the other end of the counter just standing there. I continued to wait and she continued to stand there, she finally said sarcastically "are you ready", annoyed I said "I am", she walks past the register and says "one minute" and walks to the back room! Another associate who was working with another customer witnesses the whole thing and tells the customer "let me check this customer out", she was a tall woman with glasses. She comes over to the register and I tell her that associate is very rude, she says we've been very busy today, I reply you don't treat customers that way. If I were to go back to that store I would not shop there is she was there. She definitely had an attitude problem and directed it at me, she was completely out of line. One thing is for sure, she definitely does not represent Lane Bryant in a good light. Anyone could see she does not enjoy her job! That behavior needs to be addressed.
Impossible return policy. Unable to generate a label online to return dress then after spending 30 minutes on the phone with customer service still unable to get a shipping label. Ended up driving to closest store 45 minutes away to return the dress. They charged me 10 dollars to return a 48 dollar dress. This company blows. Won't shop with them again.

Make sure you DO NOT order from Lane Bryant - you could wait months for your items, and they will tell you every day that it has been shipped and is expected to be delivered. This is not the first time, but it will be THE LAST! Don't even dream of having something in time for a holiday. Horrible company, no customer service, chat is unavailable, yada yada yada... Terrible!
Thought I would give them a try WOW was I I in for a surprise worst thing I ever did. I purchased jeans from them since Catherine's had gone down hill I didn't know they were affiliated but boy was I disappointed. Since I never ordered from them I was not sure what size to order so I followed the chart they have for size I even did a live chat which was not at all helpful the person I chatted with was very uninterested in helping me and said I would need to decide for myself what size to buy so I just followed the chart. It took over seven days to get my order and the jeans were so off in size that I needed to send them back when I called to see if they would just exchange them down a size they told me I would have to pay to send them back I told them I didn't think that was fair since the chart they had was so off they told me to hold on while they checked which was over five minutes then got back on and said they couldn't do that and I would have to pay the return shipping. I told her it was not my fault their charts are not accurate and she said she couldn't help that and I could return them to the store for free I explained that I wasn't going to the malls because of COVID and the holidays and she basically said to bad that she couldn't help I would have to pay I have now lost money and in this day and age with COVID and not working who has money to just throw away. I'm very upset and disappointed and will never buy from them again there are far to many companies out there that care about their customers and would accommodate so Lane Bryant never again
They dont care about their employees especially the part time ones which most are and that they only care about getting the smucks as they call it to get credit cards, management makes temps do their jobs of finding somebody to cover for them if they get sick or in hospital to cover for them and only work temps a max of 12 hrs a week. Thats why customer service sucks overall My Daughter works there trying to get work at anywhere
A recent promotion was get $100 off $200 order. I placed an online order then received an email stating my order was updated. The updated information was canceled items from my order. When the items were canceled this brought the actual order total to under $200, therefore I did not receive the $100 off. I call customer service and spoke with a customer service supervisor name Tom or Thomas who explains I got a good deal anyway Without the $100 off and why I was complaining. Honestly, I never spoke with anyone so rude. I love LB! Because of this rude employee with title of supervisor I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH LB or any of their other companies in the future.
I have only been at this location twice and today I have finally come to a conclusion TERRIBLE SERVICE. No one welcome me when I enter the store, it took several minutes before I was spoken too. This location COLD AND UNWANTED FEELINGS. Is it it because I am BLACK?. YES I said it both times I visit this location I never get acknowledged.
They do not care about their customers AT ALL! THEY LOVE TO CANCEL ITEMS BUT REFUSE TO CANCEL PER CUSTOMER REQUEST! IF YOU WANTED TO BE TREATED LIKE CRAP THAN THEY ARE FOR YOU!
