When you remove Mike Lindell's My Pillow products just because corporate execs disagree with him politically or are afraid of the Left, you alienate MOST of your customers! This is a STUPID business practice! Restore freedom of choice in purchasing!

Why I quit Kroger
January 27, 2021

I have been a faithful Kroger shopper for more than 30 years but since discovering that they choose to base the products they carry on political affiliations, I won't be spending another penny in their stores! It's time for the consumers to put their money where their mouths are and run these political hacks out of business! I love the many employees there who I've come to be friends with as I am usually in the store 3-5 times a week and I will miss them. Hopefully corporate will issue apologies and correct their mistakes before my friends lose their jobs! I encourage every conservative customer to shop somewhere else and be sure to review all Kroger products on all consumer feedback platforms as possible.

I have been a loyal Kroger shopper for many years. I have heard that Kroger's has stopped the sale of the My Pillow. If this is true I will choose to shop elsewhere. Everyone has a right to a political position. I do understand this as an American, when your political stance infringes on others the be exact at least 75 million people. You have over stepped your boundaries. It's your store your choice to shun the Republicans in this world, but there will be many of the 75 million people who will take offense to this and stop shopping at your stores. Have your political view, but don't shun republicans who do not have your same mind set... It will not be good for business.

Ordered the Nintendo switch bundle. Said it would get to my house within 2-3 days. Switched to overnight shipping and said it should arrive the next day. The item has been pending ever since and they will not reimburse me shipping until it is not pending anymore however long that may take. Also, they said I can not cancel the order or get a refund until I receive the item. Complete garbage of a website and business model that they have.

I have shopped at Kroger for 35 years. I am appalled by the terrible service of both their pick-up services at their store and their home delivery. They fail to deliver 30% of the items. They bring damaged products to your car, and after you have driven home and find the damaged products - as well as what they didn't provide - they tell you the only way to return the items is to enter the store to return them. THE PURPOSE OF THE PICK-UP IS SO THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO INTO THE STORE! My husband and I both are positive for coronavirus, and they just told us to bring the items into the store if we want them replaced! And, of course,, that means driving back to the store also. Terrible, terrible service!

Cost is cheap. Have pharmacy which is fair and produce as well as groceries so one stop shopping. Sometimes they are out of things. Do have kosher items too. It's the place to go to stretch a dollar.

My first instacart order will be my last. They kept sending me more and more text messages that the store didnt have what it advertised as having, out of 22 items, 7 had to be replaced... but the instacart worker did NOT tell me what the subs were or what they could substitute. The last item they sent a photo that was too small to see and asked me what I wanted instead. No suggestions! No help whatsoever! Now, they won't cancel a 100.00 order//that's all my money for food the next 2 weeks..

NO CHANGE BACK
July 17, 2020

Kroger took change from the buyer before me. 94 cent. Then I made a buy of 45.09. They owed me. 91 cent but refused to give me my change. Said it was a shortage in change. They clearly had all the change compartments full in the cash drawer. I started to say just cancel the sale give me my money back. Clear you register ad restock it back on your shelf's you cheating store. Or wait hold the line up so I can find someting that will round me to the $. I suggest buyer stop buying here or do what I should have done to stop the change shortage lie they are using to rip buyers off. If they are taking change they should give it back. Kroger is two faced crooks.

Tighten up.
June 6, 2020

It seems like in the wake of our situation, things are spiraling out of control slowly. My 72 year old mother was humiliated at krogers today by the customer service lady. She was over charged, and complained. The customer service lady fixed it, and then told my mother not to come back. She's been shopping at that store for ten years. She feels like it's because shes korean. She doesn't want to go back now because of the incident. Sad.

Their website has everything you need shop online for pickup or just make a grocery list for in-store shopping. There is always a great range of digital coupons & member savings. Some are tailored to your purchases so it's worth getting their membership. The chain has really expanded its community outreach during the social restrictions. Kroger has added employees to meet health guidelines and adjusted to the wide changes in how people shop. My Kroger is in North Augusta, SC and it is awesome!

Lies
April 16, 2020

A representative went on our local new bragging about how they are doing such great job, how their shelves are stocked, they aren't running out of stock. I've been a customer for long time, used click list before. Since the virus I've used it exclusively and each week I'm handed a sheet of paper with a list of all the things they are out of, usually front and back once it took two sheets to include all the things they DID NOT HAVE. And these things go week they week. Three weeks in a row I ordered organic broccoli florets three weeks in row they were out. Yet that woman sat on tv smiling assuring people their shelves are stocked. Bold faced LIES. Why would I or anyone else trust them. I've been a loyal shopper so I'm not familiar with other options right now but trust that I will be looking into other options when this is over. I can't stand liars!

I wish I could leave a review on the Kroger brand gummies of Melatonin 5mg where it would be more relevant, but the option was not presented elsewhere. I bought Krogers brand of Melatonin 5mg (gummie form) because they were more affordable than Zzzquil's pure Z's gummie Melatonin 2mg with chamomile and lavender. Obviously there is a difference in the mg. I took a kroger brand Melatonin and felt hung over the next day, all day. I decided to take half of the kroger brand thinking it would lessen the side effects and woke up feeling the same, hung over, groggy, and spaced out. Unfortunately, these didn't work for me as well as Zzzquil's brand. Zzzquil's gimmie Melatonin has never made me feel hungover or had negative side effects. Lesson learned. Stick to what you know and cheaper is not always better.

Do not shop online at Krogers
Placed an online order at 8:59 am. Delivery frame was 8:59 to 1pm. Received 2 text messages that the delivery time was pushed back. Last one suppose to be between 3-3:30. No delivery by 7:15pm. I cancelled order and they charged my card $92.35. Disgrace at this time when people are going through tough times.

Kroger.com information often does not mirror the user's local store's inventory and prices may differ.

There are often glitches and customer service calls to rectify the matter are place on interminable holds,

This new website is a joke. I often have to search. Just to find a way to get to my schedule. Not to mention it's down on all Fridays. Great people worked just fine. Not sure why they got rid of it.

I shop there weekly after defecting from Harris Teeters. Their prices are the best in town.

Kroger brand name products are quite good... and chicken prices are the best.

The store is a little gloomy looking.

My chief complaints are two:

They often discontinue one of my regular items without warning -- citing a "corporate decision made in Dayton."

The baggers are terrible... they load all the heavy things into one bag... leave items out... and often crush my produce with canned goods.

I want to try their online store one of these days.

Gas Station
September 2, 2019

I had just been inside and spent $109 in the grocery store and stopped out for gas and that lady in the gas station part was just as rude as anybody could be. All I did was hand her $20 and I told her the pump number and that was it. I was waiting for the little drawer to open up and she told me in no uncertain terms, to put my money in the drawer now. I couldn't believe it. We are in the state of Michigan and there are a lot of people who would be awfully happy to have her job. If she doesn't like her job, she needs to leave so somebody else who needs a job could have hers. There is no reason to treat people that way.
