Poor communication with delivery

We were told item would be delivered on a certain day but we were not given a time frame. On that delivery day, we received an email saying the delivery was attempted but we were not home to receive it. We waited at home for the delivery but no one came or even attempted a delivery. We think the delivery was not even attempted or it was made to the wrong house. No one knocked at our door! We were home!
We called the delivery company & they rescheduled the delivery. We received the item two days later. However, the delivery man was not able to tell us why it was not delivered on the first attempt. Even with the second attempt, we never got a time frame for the delivery as we were told we would. We were not asked to sign for the delivery as we were told we would have to do.

Trifecta- Price, Quality and Service

Looked for a double vanity within my price range for a long time. I found this one on clearance at an incredible price and it didn't disappoint. It is the quality and craftsmanship of a very pricey vanity but for a steal. The customer service and delivery were top notch as well.

Excellent Customer Service

I was worried about ordering a bathroom vanity online, but there was no need to worry. KB&A handled everything very professionally. They confirmed my order, had it shipped within days of ordering and kept me posted on the order and how to handle the delivery regarding inspection of my vanity before accepting the order. I was also very impressed on how well the vanity was packed. I am very happy with the entire process and will not hesitate to order from them again in the future.(This is the only picture I have, as I'm in the middle of a bathroom renovation and the vanity has not been installed yet. This is how the vanity looked when it was being unpacked. The drawers were removed for inspection. Everything looked great).

Delivered at later end of 12-4 range, but also helped me take inside house because it was heavy. The box was beat up but checked inside and from what I could see was in good shape.

Ordered a Sauna stove through KBA Authority in October 2023, and they said it was on back order and wouldn't be in until late December 2023. The price was roughly $150.00 less any where else. I agreed to wait til December. Late December came and they said there was no opportunity to get Sauna stove in the near future, however if I paid an extra $220 dollars they could get me one. I was led along for three months. I discussed with KBA my concerns to which they stuck to the additional cost as the only solution, KBA never apologized or tried in any effort to come to some agreement. They are extremely short and very rude. I want to warn others of their lousy customer service.

It just shouldn't be that difficult. If there's a product that doesn't work and there's a rational reason to return in the same box unused and undisturbed. It should not be so difficult to return a product. Especially if you have the original box and yet they want to charge you almost $15 to via third party, a piece that weighs about as much as a 50 cent piece. They make the process so difficult that it's just better for me to keep the product and never use it then return it for refund that they may or may not give me, as they have numerous out clauses to even refund you. And they want me to pay $15 just to return it.
Brilliant and you want to know why people use Amazon prime it's easy no fuss... Returning a product should be simple, as opposed to feeling held hostage.

If you want to know first hand how to get scammed by a company, let me share a quick way to make it happen. Make an "in stock" purchase from KBA. The first email says they will let you know when it ships from their warehouse when ordered June 9,2023, a second one comes back to tell you what their REFUND policy, Refunds are only granted by the manufacturer... by phone... with a multi-digit code number. Third email tells you the item is not in stock as posted, but anticipate the July 2023 order to be shipped March 2024. A phone call to request a refund goes unanswered. Second phone call goes unanswered. Email to say I have called goes unanswered. Then a nastier email to a few people got a phone call from the person who did NOT return my first two calls nor the email. Only to use offensive language in her call (Te-Lar) is her name. First time she said it, I stopped her and said that is NOT my name for you to use. Then she did it again. Well, this sent me over to American Express, where I am able to send them phone records of the two calls, the emails and the order and the oops it wont be coming for half a year, but you wont get your money back. The company does not care...and ROHL the manufacturer...Christine Joannou, must be damn proud to have teamed up with this group of reps to sell their products.

I purchased a vanity on 12/27/23 from KBA for $2179. The Vinnova vanity top arrived cracked in pieces. After multiple calls KBA sent me another vanity countertop that was also cracked. On 3/14/23 The Sales Manager, Joseph V. Promised a refund in writing and then on 6/30/23 rescinded his promise. I have a broken vanity and am out $2179. This company is a sham - the worst - completely unprofessional.

Poor customer service experience

Does any company deserve a good review when things went as "expected"? The merit/value/reputation of a company is how they handle something when it "DOESN'T" go as planned.

Order a sink which was on back order - No complaint there.
Sink arrived from FedEx with LOTS of holes in the cardboard and a re-tape job from FedEx - No complaint there (not KBauthority's fault)

Then the fun begins. In talking to their CS department, they fully understood that the structural integrity of the sink was in question, and "supported" me on my RMA claim and return of the item.

Then it back and forth and back and forth and back and... (you get the point) with their RMA team to "REPLACE THE SINK!" I still wanted the sink. The RMA was clearly setup for REPLACEMENT.

I didn't hear anything for almost an additional 2 weeks (the whole RMA process took about a month, and was repetitive and painful)

I asked on a Friday for an update, and Monday, received a "PayPal" notice about a refund.

I did NOT get a e-mail from KBauthority regarding a refund (and I didn't ask for a refund, it was supposed to be a replacement)

I give it two starts. At least they gave me my money back, but their communication SUCKED, and their RMA team's communication (and ability to READ) sucked!

This is the note "THEY" put inside my RMA from KBAuthority:

"PACKAGE ARRIVED DAMAGED VIA FEDEX AND CUST. TOOK PHOTOS AND REFUSED SHIPMENT - CUSTOMER WOULD LIKE A REPLACEMENT "

I guess they don't want my business.

Stay away

Stay away from this company. There customer service sucks. Unanswered emails unreturned phone calls. They didn't answer a question I had about a product so I ordered it and quickly realized it would not fit my bathroom. I went to their website and use their contact form to cancel the order one day after I ordered it. It was a weekend so their office was closed that's why I use the contact form. My order status claim that the order has not shipped and their website said that the orders ship in 3 to 5 business days so I gave them plenty of notice to cancel the order. They shipped it anyway. My item cost $877 they are trying to charge me $320 to restock the item. I canceled the order on December 10 and I still haven't got a refund

Canceled order with out telling me about it

I ordered a part that said it was in stock on their website. They emailed the next day that the part was on backorder with a 4-6 week lead time. I called to ask for a resolution as this was holding up my job. They said any discount would have to be discussed with the customer service manager and provided a number to call for the next business week. When i called the said that the order had been cancelled and if i wanted to reorder it would be another 4-6 week lead time. This is the most unprofessional place i have ever tried to work with.

Never use these people

Its funny how your biggest fears come to life. I purchased vanities from KB Authority a few weeks ago. After making sure that they had good reviews and the cabinets I was purchasing had good reviews I went with them. First, I received a notice that they would let me know when the product would ship. I called on Wednesday Nov 23 and was told the product had shipped, even though my account was never updated. On Monday I received a call that Fed Ex Freight wanted to set an appointment. Yeah! I made the appointment for Wednesday Nov 30. I received a call back from Fed Ex that they shipping was going to come COD, they hadn't either paid a bill or had an account. I contacted KB Authority and they assured me it was handled. I called Fed Ex, set up another appointment, and they no showed today. So I had to get on the phone again, and after 2 hours and numerous people, found out that they still haven't resolved the issue. KB was awful and rude, and after speaking with 4 people still have no resolution. And to make matters worse, it appears this has happened to a lot of their customers.

Stellar customer service!

So I purchased a vanity and mirror combo and received the invoice. Everything was good, fairly quick delivery with no damage. When I received my credit card statement the listed amount that was paid to KB+A was over 300 more. Called customer service and spoke to Ryan. Ryan couldn't have been more helpful! Asked me to verify the charge and send over my statement. Did so and within minutes was sent an email correcting the charge and showing the credit.
I knew that I would get a refund eventually as it was clearly a mistake but was impressed with the speed of the actions on KB+A's response. I especially want to commend Ryan on his professionalism and what seemed like genuine concern for my situation. Great job Ryan!

Purchased online and a week later kb authority notified me and tried to upsale my order. I ordered what I needed and went without changing my order about 3 weeks later they asked for more money in order to fulfill the original order. I refused and stated that this is bad business dealing and would not play the game. They sent an email canceling my order. They have finally sent a refund. I would not do business with a company like kb authority.
