Overall my experience has been good, however there have been a few problems. I purchased both versions of the front brake master cylinder for my '73 FLH. Both of them swelled to about twice the original size, the rubber/silicone/whatever separated from the fiber part of the gasket, and while it worked as long as I didn't remove the cover, once the cover was removed, I couldn't get the gasket back on properly. I got one from a local shop and it, so far, hasn't had the same problem. I had a similar problem with the gasket for the left gas tank cap. While it didn't swell up, it did simply fall apart. I bought the James Gaskets one this time (at least I hope that's what I got, the packaging did not have the James Gasket logo, etc.
Hard to believe that "rubber" products, like the gas tank cap gaskets are still degraded by fuel, but it seems they are. I purchased the J&P gasket for my Harley tank cap and it degraded, actually fell apart. This time I ordered the James Gaskets version, as well as some other James Gasket products. When the order arrived the gas cap gasket was in a generic labeled bag. I called to verify and they sent another, but that had the same packaging. I guess I'll hope it really is a James Gasket, and hope it doesn't degrade from normal fuel.
I order parts and parts get delivered. Over the years I've placed orders for a couple different motorcycles and never had a problem.
