Opening my first order from this company was quite a let down. The clothes for my daughter were ok and final sale so was happy enough with the price/ gamble. It's hard to show in the photos and I don't want to post a pic of it on because it's embarrassing.
I ordered two dresses for a wedding (rehearsal dinner and wedding guest)
Was shocked at the low quality for the cut and such a poor fit. I did check the size guidelines and the styles of the dresses really shouldn't have created such an unflattering fit. The seams are uneven, the front crossover is too far back so creates a ridiculous gaping in the front. I'm trying to find a way to make this work. But the darts near the bust are in a weird spot too. Because I guess I stupidly used a coupon (that you get txted endlessly about) in my error didn't realize it would basically make getting a refund impossible. Hoping to buy a different dress on the way to the wedding and take this experience as a lesson learned. I should've read these reviews first.
The dresses (style, material, color, sizing, and customer service) are amazing 10/10 recommend ordering from Joyfolie!

I was using a gift card that I had received and when I hit pay it went to my credit card instead. Within seconds I contacted the company only to find out you could only connect through email. I tried numerous times and then finally received a response saying oh well too late. It's an automated response. Unfortunately, they got me another time for this and now they got me again. Buyer beware.

Do not buy from this company! Their return policy is extremely unfair. I spun a wheel at the beginning of my order and received a discount, so I put the discount promo code in when I ordered the dress. When the dress arrived it was too small for my daughter, so we tried to return it, but because a promo code was used they only allow store credit. I believe this is deceitful and misleading, and I felt like a fool for playing their game. This is so misleading and wrong and I pretty much begged them to give me a return and they said you need to read our policies and procedures more carefully. Very bad customer service!

First, before this company tries to gaslight me into thinking that I am in the wrong here, let me make a few things clear. I read the return policy. Silly me, I made the mistake of clicking on the promotional banner which saved me a little money at checkout. This is what the company is using as justification for not issuing a refund - I used a coupon so this automatically means I am not eligible for a refund. Why do I want a refund you ask? Because the dress arrived DAMAGED and DEFFECTIVE. I could go on for days about the embarrassingly poor quality and color of the dress - even before I noticed the zipper was sewn into the lining about 3/4 of the way up. It was unwearable because the zipper was not functional! There were strings everywhere and almost all of the seems were loose and coming unraveled. HORRIBLE QUALITY! I was hoping to wear this dress for my elopement next month, but the color looks like vomit and the material screams "cheap". I ordered a cream dress but it looks more like a dingy grey in real life. After this customer service experience and after reading how many people had a similar experience, I will never order from this company again. FIRST and LAST time customer. If you're still contemplating shopping here...first take a $100 bill and light it on fire. Then if you still want the dress, go ahead and order it, but just know that you are doing the same thing as throwing away your money.

I'm sure others have legitimate complaints but their reviews may have stopped me purchasing if I'd read them before ordering. Glad I didn't let them stop me because I'm really thrilled with the dresses I got. I am a family photographer that now just photographs my two girls so I spend a lot of time looking for dresses for them and most of the ones I find are lackluster. The dresses I got from Joyfolie are some of the nicest I've gotten for the price. I love the fabric is actually wearable but the details are just beautiful. They move so well and photograph really well. I'd purchase again, even knowing the return policy is not to some people's taste. I'd have no problem exchanging something one sale I didn't like for another product as so far everything I've gotten is perfect.

My daughter needed a dress for her School dance. She decided on the Perla, but they only had it in a medium and she is a size small, so we thought we would see if it fit. When I went to check out there was a banner that reads, "30% off with code SAVE30 *excludes select products*". When I put the $118 dress in the cart and clicked the checkout button, it took me to the next screen where it asks you to enter 'gift card or discount code' and press the 'Apply" button. On this page there is also a banner that reads, "USE CODE SAVE30 FOR 30% OFF *SOME EXCLUSIONS APPLY". If you scroll down to the bottom of the page there is no additional information or "* some exclusions" listed. So I checked out using code SAVE30 and the dress was $82.60 and then I was charged $7.99 for shipping. Again, on this page the banner reading, "USE CODE SAVE30 FOR 30% OFF *SOME EXCLUSIONS APPLY" is listed with no additional information or "Exclusions".
Fast forward to receiving the dress. We had hoped a simple alteration would make the dress the perfect fit for our daughter, but the Medium was just too large for her size Small body and the alterations would be too costly. Finally, my wife went to their website to initiate a return and upon putting in the information, she was informed that "Items discounted with a coupon or promotional code are eligible for size exchange or store credit", meaning no refunds. This brings up concern, they don't have my daughters size dress and there was nothing that stated that if I used the SAVE30 code that I would be ineligible for a refund. We tried to find a customer service number or email and they do not offer that to the public that we were able to find. I also tried to search their website and google using the term SAVE30 to see if I could find any terms and none were found.
I really think it is sneaky that they would offer a discount code that prevents anyone from returning any item for anything other than an exchange or store credit. That seems like a very dishonest and calculated attempt to gain and retain business and make their complete website not eligible for refunds.
It is our hope they do the right thing and refund us for the dress. If they do not, we will not be purchasing from them again.

Any items that receive a Sale / Discount can only be returned for site credit or another size. There is no need to support a group that tricks you into remaining a customer.

Never received my daughter Xmas dress that I ordered on November 13. It's December 30th and even though they admitted to having the dress at their warehouse I have yet to receive a refund. Just combative unprofessional responses. I wish I would haveresearched this Company. The other bad reviews would have prevented me from wasting my time and money

We do not process returns until the package is received, inspected and logged by our third party warehouse, which all return packages are subject to. I don't think I will ever shop here again. First time and last time. I have yet to hear back from customer service about help with my returns since my items do not match the quality shown in the photos they have on their website by a long shot. My Seraphina sweater came damaged (it's a chunky knit sweater and there were lines and poor knitting throughout the whole garment). The button holes on the Rehanne set were also machined so poorly the buttons would not fit through their holes without a struggle, I was afraid to rip it because the material is so mediocre. Also- their return policy is very strict and YOU have to pay the cost to return it which to me says STAY AWAY they're aware of what they're doing. Everything is Free People prices for Walmart quality.

Love this store! As long as you read the return policy, you won't be surprised. It's very similar to many other stores. I have returned, exchanged, and have recieved a defective final sale item that the customer service was GREAT to work with! Will keep on ordering from here. Like another reviewer, I purchased with a promo code without knowing that ANY discounted item is not returnable for a refund, only store credit. I have never seen this before and consider it to be basically a scam in a world where people mostly shop online and returns for refund unless an item says "final sale" are standard. I will not be shopping at this store in the future and will make sure my friends and family are aware of their absurd policy.

I was intrigued by their beautiful clothing and the offering of a summer sale. As a first time customer, I carefully read their sizing and ordered 3 pieces. Website states easy returns; however, you have to dig deeper to realize if you use a promo code you can only return for store credit. They plaster promo codes all over the place. I ordered several dresses in multiple sizes. Now I have a store credit for over $500 and I didn't even like any of the dresses. I am an avid online shopper and I have never come across such a ridiculous return policy.
