I made my first purchase from this company using a discount code to join their site. Because I used a discount code they consider it a "sale" purchase and will only issue me a store credit. Additionally, they do not pay for return shipment. What a joke! I feel like I got screwed. The dress itself is made of very cheap material (made in China) and was definitely overpriced. Based on this one purchase I would NEVER shop here again.

Hello Tricia, We definitely appreciate you as a first time customer. I absolutely understand your frustration with having to return an item that did not work for you. Currently return costs are the responsibility of our customers and all of our policies are available on our website. We do not have an option to "join" Joyfolie in order to shop our site. We do, however, offer promotional codes for those customers who like to participate in additional discounts on their items. Made It Right

I bought a cute pair of slippers as a birthday gift for someone and they love them! Everything went pretty smooth for the most part, however paid additional for expedited shipping and their partner UPS dropped the ball. Turns out, UPS won't talk to you unless you ship direct with them so I needed Joyfolie to make it right. They ended up coming through and fully refunding me for shipping even though it was against their policy. I really appreciated them taking the time to work with me and making it right.

My dress came as a size Medium when I ordered it a L. I quickly send at least 3 emails asking to exchange to a size up extra large. After 3 days I still have not heard from them, I went on their website and join the chat with their representative. I told her about my dress and ask for an exchange not refund. She then told me that I can not exchange because it is a final sale. This dress has a irregular size and I am stuck with it. Then she told me to measure the dress and send it to information. I have never heard of anything this ridiculous. They don't have a phone number to call. This is a total scam, stealing from customer. Same on you Joyfolie, you have the integrity and trust from customer. I am out, since there are more places to shop with less headache.

I believe it was not completely understood that there may have been a sizing discrepancy with your dress. We currently are a small business so we are unable to maintain a call center; however, I can absolutely admit that sometimes customer concerns can get lost in translation with written communication and we do our best to understand the issue. It sounds like this was the case. As I understand it, currently one of our fashion consultants has been able to further assist you with a replacement. Not worth the trouble

I ordered the zephyr jacket. I used the sizing guide and ordered a medium, it came and didn't fit. No biggie, I'll exchange for the size up. They have zero customer service, I had to put a letter in the package stating what I needed and spent $8 more shipping it back. I get an email that they've received it and are sending another but... I have to pay 7.99 more to get it. Ok I'm like sure. I get a large and it still doesn't fit only the arms were longer and now they don't have an xl and I'm not spending anymore in shipping, because I'll have spent damn near the cost of the jacket in shipping. Btw I'm 5'7" and weigh 160... a large in most brands is roomy on me. I would never shop with them again.

I am a new customer to Joyfolie. I have been watching their ads for about a year and was so excited to purchase some of their beautiful items. But when I received my package and tried on the dresses, some were too long so I thought no big deal I can just return them since it's within the 30 days. NOPE. I contacted them and received an email back telling me that since I purchased them on a sale day with a code I was NOT ELIGIBLE for any return! All they had to say was "I'm sorry if this is disappointing" and "our policies are listed on the website". Seriously?! I will never order from this site again. I am infuriated. It's not even like I am trying to rip them off but rather receive an item that fits properly that I am satisfied with. Now I am stuck with dresses that I can't wear and paid 200 dollars for.

It looks like a Final Sale item was the cause of dissatisfaction with your recent purchase. As with general retailers, Final Sale merchandise is not eligible for returns; however, all other items sent back in original condition within 30-days are always accepted. I understand Final Sale apparel can be frustrating as fit can be different for everyone. Our fashion consultants are available during business hours to assist with sizing if further assistance is ever needed on any products. If you feel like your garment falls outside of our sizing chart we would definitely want to take a further look to review the item you have received.

We have been long time customers of Joyfolie, the clothing is magical for my daughter! I started getting some things for myself & have loved them all too! Just recently we had a sizing and also an out of stock issue with things we ordered, they reached out to me (even had to email again to check in since I forgot to respond, lol) and went above to work out a wonderful solution!

I purchased several dresses from Joyfolie and they were all very poor quality. Two of them had tears and nicks in the fabric and the other ones were very poor quality fabric and very thin. They were see through. They have horrible customer service and I am very unhappy with the company all together. They have been contacted and still have no resolution.

I've ordered from here several times, lured back by the appealing styling. But--and I can't emphasize this enough--quality control is a very serious problem. Every single shoe I've purchased has come undone in some way very, very quickly, and our cobbler (whom I love and serves our neighborhood for decades) tells us that the shoes are basically garbage, not worth fixing at all. And I believe him. The glue work comes undone very quickly, sling-back flip flops for kids are very badly and massively oversized (do they even try to fit them on actual feet?) Clothing is... pretty, and sometimes well made, sometimes terribly made, you just can't tell til it arrives. I've had kids' dresses that last for years and take quite a beating, and pants that are so ridiculously floppy and huge and made with poor quality fabric that I wonder is it even worth it to take to get altered? I'd say if you want to buy so your kid will look nice standing or (better yet) sitting still for a photo, you're good to go. If you want your child to actually wear the clothes and shoes and you don't want to take a risk on the typically overpriced clothing, then go elsewhere. (Returns are a pain). Good luck, Joy Folie. I'm rooting for you, I really am. I'd like to love your stuff, but I just can't.

I made a purchase with discount code only to have the promo to change to 50% within a few hours. I wrote customer service kindly asking for a price adjustment. Morgan responded with their store policy and stated since my purchase was discounted I could not receive a price adjustment. I let her know about the change in promotion only hours after my purchase and she replied that she was sorry that I was disappointed but again would not be able to honor the difference in discounts. After I replied, she forwarded the same email. I'm convinced this company does not value their customers.

I bought a dress from Joyfoliw, and while it was a beautiful dress, the zipper did not quite work, so I returned it. I returned it within the allowed time period, but they would not give me my money back, or rather they gave me store credit. When I inquired as to why, it is because I purchased the dress while it was on promotion (25% off). When I contested, they said I did not read the fine print, but I am a person that usually reads everything in detail. This return policy is horrible, and I thus I would not recommend purchasing from Joyfolie, as I am very dissatisfied.

Wasted a lot of money

I've wasted a lot of money purchasing from Joyfolie. The return policy is horrible and sizing is strange so you must pay to return items to exchange (and its not cheap.) Many items are cheap, shipped in a plastic bag, which for the price I would expect more. Every now and then there is a nice item though. Hit or miss but for me, mostly miss.

I wanted to return a few items that didn't fit correctly for my daughter and it feels like jumping through hoops to get it returned (must be in original plastic bag, $7.99 size exchange shipping and you have to pay to ship it back!). It's 2020 - I am just very surprised that it is this complicated - I am just going to have to sell on Poshmark or another site instead.

I bought my daughter 2 dresses. One of them was sized incorrectly. So I wanted a refund because they do not carry the next size up but was gladly told If you use a code during your checkout you Will Not be issued a refund whatsoever. Ridiculous.

We like to treat our customers with the option to receive an awesome deal by providing promotional codes. These are always an option for use at checkout where we also provide our return policy. With any discount, the product is dramatically reduced and therefore we allow size exchange if needed or store credit if you would like to choose another item that may provide a better fit. We always understand that there could be the possibility of a sizing error. If ever a Joyfolie item is not measuring up to our size chart we will gladly review the item that was received. Immediately after I left my previous review I was contacted by a Joyfolie representative who wanted to help. She stated that although not their policy she would ship out the replacement and then issue me a refund after I paid the invoice for the new dress and shipping. She honored the sale price of the dress that I wanted to purchase even though it was no longer on sale. Bottom line - it cost me $23 in shipping back and forth to get a replacement dress, and they were only really willing to help after I left a negative review. I won't be ordering from them again.

I ordered two dresses for my girls. One of them was very tight, and the other one was very itchy and too long on my daughter. Because they both were dresses that ended in. 99, I couldn't get a refund. For the one that was scratchy and too long, I asked to simply exchange for another dress that was the exact same price. They indicated they would not do that. I indicated my disappointment with their inflexible exchange and return policies, as I had hoped to have the exchanges done so the kids could wear the dresses for Christmas. I still don't know if that's even going to be possible, as the return was received on 11/28, and I have not received any communication from them, and it's 12/8. When I expressed that I was frustrated and felt that they needed better policies for an online store selling to teen girls (you never know how something is going to fit until you've tried it on), they indicated they were sorry but they're a small business. I will never order from them again. As the mother of three girls, two of who are teens, it's just not feasible if I'm going to have to lose $20 each time on shipping if something doesn't fit right or my child doesn't like the way it feels.

Don't buy here

Ordered a pair of sandals for my granddaughter posted at regular price $49.99 and entered an on line coupon that removed $9.99. Package arrived and the sandals are for a one year old and very cheap quality. I feel like we paid $49.00 for very beautiful packaging. These sandals represent cheap mass produced Chinese imitations. They come with gardenias that have little pearls and not all of the flowers have pearls but threads. I emailed and chat with them just to hear that it is a final sale! Regardless to say I was not posted on the page until I stated my request for exchange not even my money back. I had plans to be a customer now I am not considering ever purchasing anything from them again. They claim they are a small company but in there page story they mention they are already big and successful! You can expect to gain faithful brand recognition lying and not assisting customers with weird size postings. I was told they would email me a resolution, which has not been done. I will do what ever I need to legally to make sure they stop lying and stealing from hard working customers,

We do list this in our product descriptions so customers can make an informed shopping decision prior to purchasing. I have been a customer for several years. Clothing is always good quality and a nice alternative to all the stuff that looks the same everywhere else. I have had a few orders with minor issues but customer service has always been quick to resolve. I'm surprised by so many of the negative reviews. People are so used to having the luxury of free returns from large corporations that we come to expect it and that used to not be the case and is still not with smaller businesses. You take that chance, and most of the time everything is fine. If not, you have to pay the return shipping- thats just how it is. I think the women's clothing does run large for the most part. I am petite so I can't wear most of the clothes. I will keep wishing that you come out with a line for smaller women... maybe I could wear the girls clothes? They are amazing too and my girls love them!

Fabrics are terrible, super scratchy. At least one of the dresses had defects. But worst is there a return policy. They literally expect you to pay for shipping rate to return products after trying them on. Not a discounted business account shipping label like most professional stores... Or free return shipping like the best shops. But full price at the post office I'm really not surprised if I'm about to spend $30 returning a box of clothing to them all for nothing. Oh and the women's T-shirts are absolutely tiny. The large was skin tight.

Considering the business has been around since 2011 you think they would've figured out by now that customers pay astronomical rates to return goods to them and this could be corrected by return shipping labels being included

You guys really need to get with 2019 for online retailers. You want a note with the return? You want customers to pay $8 to get the item, then pay $10 to return the items AND not give me my money back because I used a promo code on a full price item and got a few dollars off? It wasn't final sale. I will NEVER purchase anything from your store again once I have used my credit. I didn't change my mind. The size 14 sweater was huge and the size 14 overalls were skin tight. Your sizing is an issue and as a business I would think you would want customer satisfaction and loyalty. Beware if you buy something here you will not be able to return it for a refund.

There are many larger E-commerce businesses that can afford to have free returns; however, as a small boutique we do incur very high shipping costs and currently we cannot offer this service to our customers.
