JET is horrible. Dont waste your time with this company Amazon is much better. They are trying to compete with Amazon and are a horrible. The savings they claim you save by buying in bulk is not true. Plus they make you pay annually for this crap service! They cancelled my order without emailing or calling me. Stay far away from this company.
I am updating my review to reflect the service I received with Jet.
While I am still wary of the company, they did deliver the item on time--I just didn't know it. They gave me the incorrect tracking number and it took two weeks for anyone to figure that out. There's also a little blame on the part of our service desk, since they were supposed to text me when a package arrives.
I still feel their customer service could use some tightening up. I felt tossed around, as I dealt with about twelve different CSRs. It's also a bit strange nobody thought to verify the tracking number.
Site is fraudulent. Claim free shipping then you get to checkout. If your credit info is in your profile it orders right away and does not give you time to verify shipping and total charges ect. Crabby Patties for $ 13.00 and shipping is $ 6.00 that is ridiculous... Rep said they would give me free shipping on my order. Website didn't work and I was charged the extra $ 6.00 even though they gave me a credit they would not remove the charge from my credit card. Won't buy from this place again. Will tell all my friends also. Buy From Amazon and Ebay..
Jet.com is a new site that is supposed to rival amazon in service and prices. I decided to give them a chance and ordered an expensive camera lens for my digital camera. They charged my card and then when i tried to login to my account i never could. The password never worked either. Fast forward a few hours later, I cant login to Jet.com, cant reset my password, and my credit card charges have dropped from pending. THEY DELETED MY ACCOUNT. They silently cancelled my order without a reason and closed my account. When i called them to find out whats going on and when will my order ship, they put me on hold for more than 10 minutes and transferred me to a different department to tell me that my order was cancelled and my account was deleted. Wtf? And the reason? None! This is the sketchiest practices i have ever seen from a company that wants to rival Amazon. This is laughable. Seems like a regular thing they do. Just google jet.com reviews and you see.
I have been buying from Amazon for a long time and i have never been treated like this. In addition, the majority of their products are fulfilled by third party merchants that you never heard of before as opposed to Amazon that fulfills most of the products they offer themselves. You take a gamble thats for sure. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this unfaithful company at any cost
Poor Customer Service Experience. I placed my order on May 31. On June 2nd, I received an email that the order had been shipped with a tracking number. It is now June 7th, and the tracking indicates the order has not been picked up for shipment. Three phone calls and a couple emails to Jet have not resulted in any new information on the shipment. They state they have not been able to contact the vendor by phone to determine the status of my order and are waiting for a response to an email they sent.
What type of company cannot contact their vendors after several days?
This is my first and last order with Jet.com!
Multiple purchases (all of brand name items) have all gone without a hitch. With the first timer and other discount programs, the prices have been fantastic!
Best price on a Sentry Fire Safe. Beat Walmart, Lowes, and eBay.com as well as the local Craigslist.com
I love the prices on this site, but I also love the free shipping. Most things are a great deal, and they ship quickly
I ordered a pair of rain shoes from Jet. I was excited to receive the email that my order would arrive in 2-5 business days as I was going out of town and needed the shoes for the forecast weather. I did receive an item within this time frame, however, it was a SPATULA! WTH? I contacted the company to get the order right and to inform them that I needed the item within the next 2-3 business days and was told that I had a credit on my account but that I needed to reorder the item, doubling the price, and once I received the item the doubled price would be corrected to reflect the actual amount. Poor customer service hiding behind computers and not honest at all. Stay away from Jet!
I did my first order with Jet.Com. And not only was I very pleased with the prices and quality of the products but they were delivered in 2 days. I found that on my Kirkland products they were a good bit cheaper than Costco and I didn't have to spend my time nor gas. I would recommend them to my friends
"Nope, we don't do that". Jet.com does not understand putting the customer first. My first and only order with them, is also my last. My experience: I ordered something specifically stated as having 2-day delivery (I needed it for something 4 days later). Apparently their main warehouse ran out of this item, and they had to ship from a backup warehouse. Fine, but they shipped it FedEx standard delivery, with a 6-day delivery time. Multiple contacts to customer service, including a supervisor, resulted with a sob story about their main warehouse running out of the item. When I suggested that FedEx offers expedited shipping, they stated that Jet.com doesn't provide expedited shipping, even though this was their fault.
In other words, they aren't willing to make this right. They messed up, and aren't willing to honor their advertised 2-day delivery window because it would cost them a few extra bucks to honor it. These guys won't make it unless they learn to put the customer first.
Five days after placing order I received an Email stating my order had been canceled. Item should have been delivered in two days. No reason for the cancelation was given. You know the old saying about an offer to good to be true, well here is the proof. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere!
I bought a shredder from jet.com because I needed one. The outer shipping box was perfect however the factory box was not only damaged but it had been taped over with white labels to conceal the massive damage inside the box before being packed into an outer box and sent out to a customer, ME. Then I am told I have to return the unit for a credit (they did pay shipping) and once they get it back and inspect it they will issue a credit. About 2 weeks. Once I receive the credit, if I want, I can then buy another unit at the same price. THAT SUCKS AND IS IN NO WAY GOOD QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE ANY WAY YOU LOOK AT IT. This is a very poor corporate policy and just shows that JET.COM as a COMPANY really SUCKS! This was my fifth and last purchase!
I'm not sure why all of these other people say jet is such a bad company. I have actually ordered from here multiple times and have always had really good customer service. My orders have always been received very early (usually within 3 days). I thought all prices were very reasonable. My shipping has always been free and all of my items have always been great quality. Honestly have no idea where all off these bad reviews are coming from but I liked their service so much I suggested it to a lot of my friends before reviewing this site. Sorry jet for all your bad reviews I love it!
Jet.com sent me a gift card for $15 to use on my first order. Card clearly states "Offer expires on 3/31/2016." I just tried to place my order. When I entered gift card code I received the following message: "Offer expired at 5 pm pst 3/30/2015. WHAT? My local time is March 31 9:30 pm (east coast). I called and got the following explanation: They want all customers to use the same time so they use Universal time. According to the rep the offer expired at 12:01 am on March 31. She offered me a 15% off on my order ($33.00) -- this didn't work because my order was under $35. And 15% off my order is about 1/2 of the original offer of $15. Needless to say, I did not place an order and do not plan to do business with this company in the future.
I should have known better. A website which does not let you write reviews should not be trusted.
Jet.com is slow and unreliable. I was supposed to get my item in 2-5 days, but the item got shipped after 5 days, arrived in 10 days. Costumer service doesn't care. This is bad service.
I ordered Bell'O Espresso Solid Wood Audio/ Video Component Tower with $350 on 3/28/2016, and today I received an email notice said due to the availability, the order was cancelled, I login to their website, the product is still list, but instead with high price of $445.
They don't honor the price on their website, and an order has been accepted.
I thought I would check the site out after seeing the commercials on TV. I checked the merchandise and wasn't wowed by the "competitive" prices, so thought I would check out the reviews. Any company that doesn't think bad business as described in these reviews isn't relayed in social media and spreads like wildfire doesn't deserve to be in business long. I don't base all if my decision on a few bad reviews, but statistically speaking this site ranks low. Thanks to all of you who posted your experiences with customer service. I will stick with Amazon.
We ordered a wine refrigerator and it came completely smashed. Very disappointed with everything. Called and now the fridge is more expensive so they are making us pay even more for something they screwed up. I guess we will stick to amazon.
Very pleased with jet.com I have been buying in bulk and it has saved me lots of money. I buy snacks for grandkids, house hold items ect, with free shipping you can't beat this site
