No Christmas this year?

I wis l would have taken the time to read some reviews prior to using jet.com, but l did not. I bought a go kart for my daughter through jet for her "big" Christmas gift this year. Ordered it November 16th to ensure l had plenty of time... maybe should have done so in October. It took 4 days to package it, must have been hard to put in a box and tape it shut. Still, it did arrive on the 23rd so l can't really complain about that part. The problem started after that point. I took the box to my sister's to assemble the go kart and keep it hidden from my little girl until Christmas, but when l opened the box l was surprised to find the wrong go kart inside. Not the color, not the cute little flag, the wrong model altogether. Was a much smaller model than l had ordered and paid for. I contacted jet and was told they would have fedex come back out on Monday to pick it up for return. Still okay at that point. Here is the kicker, they will not send the one l ordered and paid for until they receive this one back and back into their system and credit my account (up to ten business days). Then, if l so choose, l can re-order the same thing, wait however many days for it to be boxed up again, and hope they send the right one. Long story short, they will get they one they sent in error on the 30th. Process it back into their system (don't know how long that may take), and then 10 business days to refund my payment. That puts it hopefully by the 14th or 15th of December. Did l mention l ordered this on November 16th... After the refund, l assume 4 more days to package another one up. If everything goes perfect, that puts delivery on Thurs or Fri before Christmas on Sunday. Needless to say, l have my doubts anyhing gets any better than it has so far and l cannot for the life of me figure out what you tell your kid if she doesn't have something under the tree.

Had my order canceled

I ordered a car radio and installation kit on Jet recently. Jet gave no indication that the radio was not in stock when I ordered it and my order went through. And hour later, I get an e-mail saying that the radio order was canceled due to them having none in stock, but the installation kit was still shipping. I called Jet to cancel the entire order but I was told that it was outside of their 30 minute cancellation window. So even though it had not shipped, I could not cancel. I was told that I could just return the kit for a refund when I received it. But, I had no intention of ever returning this order so I had chosen to exclude the free return shipping from my order. The price for the return shipping was about the same as the price for the item itself so I would not get any money back. I re-ordered the radio from Crutchfield (for a slightly higher price) and it came with an installation kit. The kit I got from Jet just went into the trash. I will be canceling my account with Jet and I will stick with Amazon from now on.

Change or cancel order

Product I ordered and what they acknowledged were not the same. I called immediately to find out what happened and was told that since I did not call within 30 minutes, which I did call within 30 minutes of receiving the acknowledgement, the order could not be changed or cancelled. I called credit card company to dispute charge and just for reference I ask the agent to check the time the charge was processed and I was within the 30 minutes. I now know why I do business with Amazon and not Jet, this was my first and last order with Jet.

Absolutely No Follow Through On a Simple Issue On Their Part. No complaint/issue tracking of any kind. If they had a supplier review then no one else would have to go through what I have trying to reorder the product. This is not a cheapo item; over $500.

I was told by the first person that contacted at Jet that they would look into the issue with the supplier and get back to me. Three weeks later no answer and no one their could give me any idea if anyone actually contacted the seller or not. I returned the item immediately and got a refund.

Jet offered me a incentive to try and order from them again so i did, eventually give them both a shot at getting me that product. Once again the product arrived defective [different serial number] in exactly the same way. I can only conclude that the supplier is well aware of this defect and probably told Jet about it. But no mention of it on the Jet sales page for the product and the product is only at a $25 discount to what everyone else sells it for...

Since there is no review process of any kind at Jet the consumer is left hanging and Jet and their suppliers have no incentive to provide good customer service. Since they have no incentive I have no incentive.

Fraudulent Orders

I placed one order with them last year and haven't been on their site since. Today I was shocked by 2 emails stating my orders had been placed, which I did not do. I called them right away and they refused to cancel the orders. After reading other reviews on here, seems to be something they have done often. Someone needs to stop them from putting in fraudulent orders!

I made two purchases, nothing special and then one day I was going to recommend it to a friend. I looked up the prices of her brand of dog food for her and the bags were in my cart to see what the total would be with a coupon code. It wouldn't save her any money, so I backed out of the site and finished my call with her. Then I get an email stating that my order was placed successfully! What!?!? I never ordered anything, the three bags of dog food were still in my cart right? Nope, JET. COM decided to do me a favor and go ahead and place the order, why not, they had my credit card information, I guess they must have thought i forgot to hit purchase, confirm, and how I wanted to pay for it. I called and spoke with a "jethead", she suggested I "butt purchased it". Really, I hit 1.) Place order 2.) Payment 3.) Confirm order all with my butt, now that's talent.
I was furious, she said she would get back to after the weekend, never heard back from her. I wrote several emails, got a different "jethead" responding to each, I guess no one person follows up with complaints and they must not have any supervisors, because I asked several times and never got a response from a supervisor, just another random "jethead". I'm an email I stated "I would feel safer if I closed my account" since the website placed an unauthorized order. The next email I got said "We have closed your account"... Really? I never approved that either, this company just makes its own decisions for you, what you will buy and when you close your account. Beware, do not give them access to anything!

First of all, it took these guys 2 days and a phone call to "unsuccessfully" verify my personal information. I received a phone call as they wanted to ask me a couple of questions to validate my billing info. After the phone call they told me everything looks fine and that they'll go ahead and process the order. After two full days they suddenly contacted me via email only to tell me that their "3rd party information verify-er" rejected the validity and that I had to send in more information to get the process moving. I get that they're trying to be cautious but I think they're just trying to cut costs by having a 3rd party validate information for them. I mean it's totally acceptable to outsource these types of operations but a company should only do so when they're sure that these information transactions will happen in a timely manner without causing delays and bad experiences for customers on their site.

They boast about their "Special Algorithm" that allows them to cut costs for us customers but in reality, they're just an Amazon knock-off trying to lure new customers in with some upfront savings. I'd rather pay a couple of more bucks and shop on Amazon or even Ebay, where at least know I wouldn't have to worry about my order not going through because of some obscure reason.

Avoid at all costs - cancels orders where they won't make enough money even though they let you order. This is the 3rd time they have canceled one of my orders. Very frustrating.

What a joke, AVOID!

So I place an order. Two days later I get an email from Jet stating that my order has shipped. Four days later and the USPS still has not received the package? I call and talk to Terrance and he informs me that OSM delivery has picked up the package from TechOrbits, but cannot locate the package. I call back hours later and speak to Alex, who informs me- after a fifteen minute hold- that my order was cancelled by the shipper due to blahblahblah. No one bothered to email or otherwise notify me of this, they just kept my money for a few more days. I am sure I am not alone, so Jet is making money off of the money they hold on orders that will never be fulfilled. And how is it that Terrance found my package was shipped when the merchant never shipped the package. I would avoid this site like the plague, pay a few extra bucks and go with the other online marketplace. At least they tell you when an order is delayed or cancelled.

I placed an order on 10/6 and on 10/12 I receive an email that I am receiving 2 refunds. I call the company and am told that even though Jet.com may show a certain amount of items, once the order goes to another company, they may be out of that item. Why aren't these partner sites updating their amounts on jet.com?
Under the order information it stated my order shipped on 10/8 with the arrival dates of 10/13-10/17. When I clicked the tracking number, the USPS site told me the tracking number could not be located. Why was the order marked as shipped and with a bad tracking number, before the item had even shipped?
It's obvious my order didn't ship when this partner company said it did!
I find it unsettling that jet.com does business with partners that don't update their information, marked orders as shipped when they weren't, and give out bad tracking numbers.
I'll save myself the headache and spend the extra money and go back to Amazon.

I placed my second and last Jet.com order recently and I can't say I'm happy to have used them in the first place. Why Jet.com sucks:
1. The prices are not "great". Their idea of "savings" is taking 0.02 (two cents) off something in your cart when you add another item to your cart. If "savings" is part of their sales pitch you know now that there ARE no savings.
2. Everything arrives dirty. I placed two medium sized orders and everything I've received so far has been literally DIRTY. Items that should come covered in plastic in the box aren't wrapped in plastic and are dirty (my vacuum cleaner for example) and some items have arrived literally "open box" and dirty!
3. They might not tell you this but Jet.com is mostly some sort of seller marketplace website. When you order from them you have no way of knowing if what you bought is sold by Jet.com or if it's sold by a random internet seller, like eBay. I use Amazon Marketplace and eBay but they're upfront about me buying from random internet people whereas Jet.com is not.
4. CRAZY delivery. In my very first order Jet.com used every shipping company under the sun except FedEx SmartPost. In my first order stuff randomly arrived from UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL. All arriving different days with different signature requirements - some stuff I still don't have because it was signature required and the idiot left it at the office instead of coming back to give it to me the next day. But lazy office women who simply lock the door and pretend to not be there most days is a topic for another time. Back to Jet, with my second order they DID use every shipping company under the sun including FedEx SmartPost and stuff will arrive dirty and haphazardly on multiple days with different signature requirements again. Ridiculous.

I cannot recommend Jet.com to anyone and I myself will never shop there again. They aren't the only online store around and even if they happened to have something not sold anywhere else on the whole entire internet, what does that matter if it's going to arrive DIRTY?

Lousy delivery

I got what I orders pretty fast My problem is with the delivery co. Plain white van drove up dropped the package on the front lawn and drove off. Didn't even bother to signal that the package was there. Not very customer friendly.

Walmart cheaper

I just begin looking at the jet website for the last 2 days I have not seen a price that beats Walmart! Everything I've looked at including toilet paper laundry detergent is all $2 cheaper at Walmart I'm not understanding where all this savings is with jet?

I have placed many orders on jet. Com. They have amazon beat-the more you order the cheaper the price. Free dshipping with 35.00 order. Next day or two day delivery awesome. The jetheads customer service is extra friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this site.

BUCK UP AND GO TO WALMART!

Before trying Jet.com, I wrote down a few VERY SPECIFIC items I needed, then priced them at Walmart first, then Jet.
Jet was higher-priced than Walmart on every item - even by a few dollars.
Good waste of time and money IMHO.

Been using Jet for nearly a year. I only order Jet-stocked merchandise, no outside vendors. Delivery time is amazingly fast, either next day or day after. Unfortunately, either Jet's or Ontrac's warehouse workers--or both--are incredibly rough on the boxes. It must be deliberate. Exploded cans of dog food, pulverized pasta sauce jars, smashed cat litter bags... you name it, they can destroy it.

Second issue is with debit card billing. They apparently think they're a gas station or a bar. They ALWAYS double charge for some of the merchandise for several days. This is, of course, to get interest $$ on that extra money. Very bad customer treatment.

I did my first order with Jet. Love their prices and the options you can choose with them to save a few pennies. If you pay with a debit card, you save a little. If you opt out of a free return, a few more cents come off, etc. I also had a $10 off coupon so that was great! Quick shipping! Found what I was looking for. Very new but it's been great so far!

Ok, when I first started using Jet.com, I thought they were great. They products were good, prices were competitive and the shipping was really fast. I would use them a few times a month and here and there, had minor problems. Once I ordered salsa, and out of 4 jars, 2 came and were damaged. The tops had been "popped" and one was dripping. When I called Jet, I had to jump through hoops to get two new jars! They made me take pictures, email them proof, etc. It was two lousy bottles of salsa, but I did it and received two new jars. Once after that, a bottle of shampoo came and the top was off. That was a mess, my entire order was covered with shampoo. Again, more hoop jumping with pictures of damaged items, etc. After that, I realized that anything liquid was not a great choice when placing an order! Well, I just placed my most recent order over 2 weeks ago. What was supposed to arrive in 2 days, has still not arrived over 2 weeks later. I called and didn't really get a warm response from the rep. I had my order number but used my work email and it wasn't coming up for some reason. He was telling me that he could SEE my order, but couldn't give me info because I couldn't give him the correct email address! I had my home address, name, credit card info, etc but nothing. It was a bit frustrating and I was also told that no other manager or supervisor would help. Really? Must be great to work at an office where you are manager free! So, now I will contact my credit card company and cancel the charge. I have no idea where the shipment is, and can't check it without the email address. Maybe I typed a wrong letter? Maybe they have something wrong on their end? Not sure but this type of customer service is bull. I won't be shopping JET again, it's not worth the aggravation!

I have order several times and the fast service is incredible, I ran into a situation where my shipment was stolen from my porch call them and no question asked and in 48 hours had everything replaced.
