I am fed up with long wait times for common parts. 6 weeks for a damn slip yoke from an American based company TCI. You people need to get it in gear and bring back good customer service with people on the other end that speak English and hold your vendors to a higher standard on behalf of the customer.
Ordered a 4L60E transmission for a 2002 Silverado. Ordered it then had to drive an hour and a half to go pick it up from the shipping places because it'd be another week or so before they could maybe deliver it. Then once we got the transmission in and programmed it only had first and second gear. Called the customer service for a return and got hung up on twice, then they said they'd send us exchange paperwork and hung up again. Now I'm in the phone with them to get the shipping tag to send back and have been on hold for over an hour and a half.
Took 60 days and after I asked them they said the order is still on the backorder and not received from the vendor. I requested a deadline they gave me 29th of November and as well didn't get delivered. I requested my money back and never again to order from them
I bought a Griffin dual electric fan radiator for 1000.00 along with a lot of other parts for my 72 Chevelle. When I opened the box for the radiator, 90 days later, I found that it was the wrong part. Even though it was still brand new in the box they would not take it back. I even asked if they would give me a break on the transmission cooler that I would need as they sent me the radiator for a manual transmission vs the automatic with an internal cooler like I ordered.
ATk 350 Crate Engine from Jegs failed immediately blowing white smoke after install. 45 minutes on hold with Jegs to send me to ATK. ATK warranty only allows $50/hr for labor repair. ATK customer warranty guy was horrible as he said, "It is what it is".
I have spent over 10k in parts with Jegs for my '65 mustang build. The new engine and transmission had the wrong size flywheel and clutch and they won't exchange the new parts for the correct ones. Their fault, but I have to pay. $800 additional cost to me for their mistake. Horrible way to treat the customer. Unbelievable. Ben Larson
Apparently they wanted a wire transfer. I don't know why they have the option to pay with credit card but I guess that was issue. I called customer service to check what was going on and they said that my order was in process. It's been several business days and I have not received anything about my order. Another Customer service rep said my order was deleted because I didn't send the wire transfer…
Web shows items in stock to make you purchase, After purchasing you contact them and they tell you your orders is on back order and would receive in two months! Cancelled order will NEVER shop with them Again! Should have read reviews First! Put yourself out of Business!
My son bought the same item and I sent this back. Jerry claimed they never received it after Rob had just told my they had. Would not issue a credit. Will never order again. Rip people off.

Horrible customer service. I ordered shocks for my truck and they have now sent me the wrong item twice. The first order they sent me 4 front shocks, I had called them to get the part numbers before ordering but they still charged me to return the items. The second order has the correct part number on the packing list but the shocks are not for my truck at all, after calling the manufacturer I found out Jegs sent me shocks for a car. I called today to return them and was told I would have to pay gain to return them. I have since called the manufacturer back and asked them to exchange to shocks for me. Jegs policy is to make their customers pay for Jeags mistakes. I have asked to speak to a supervisor and have been on hold for 20mins now, the customer service rep refused to give me their name so I can't even fill out Jegs' internal review system. Horrible company that scams their customers. Stay far away from them, this isn't the Jegs we grew up with.
They say it's in stock then you order it's not in-stock so you cancel order within a hour ask for a return on credit card then they bill it and send it anyhow 3 days later
I ordered rust remover at a cheaper price compared to other vendors online, but had to wait two months to cancel it eventually, they were saying the manufacturer has limited stock and not answering their requests for ETA, liars! Found another company who supplied that item same week, directly from the manufacturer, said no issues with production there! Dont use that website, terrible customer service too, had to call them to hear the same thing that they are going to send me an update, and nothing!
I have been located at the same address for 19 years as a bussiness. I under stand times are tight but when Fedex tells you it is out for delivery on Friday than moved to Monday before Friday delivery time had expired than Monday the same, we call Customer support for them to call Fedex and ask where is the delivery and they state there was no one available to accept, wait a signature is not required why did you not leave it Jegs Rep asked Fedex, there answer was we left a tag on the door, once again no they did not. My last text from Fedex was we will make 1 final attempt to deliver this tomorrow. WOW. Long story short i asked to refuse the delivery, since it is out for delivery i have to refuse it when it comes tomorrow, i asked what happens when they dont show up again, i got im really sorry.
This is why prices keep going up in America, because people want the check and not do the job. If we keep accepting things like this our customers will go elsewhere. Good luck Jegs i will go to Summit racing that accepts when we ask for our deliveries come from UPS.
Another sad day for Jegs and another customer that looks elsewhere for there parts.

Originally purchased this unit a month ago. Charger came quickly and packaged fairly decent. Unfortunately upon testing, the timer and amp meter did not work, and it was only putting out 8 volts. I Contacted customer service and after an hour on the phone, I finally got them to agree to an exchange, and I was not going to pay for return shipping, because they sent me a defective charger. I promptly sent it back to them the following day. A week later, I had not heard anything about the replacement unit. I called them again, and the rep that I spoke to the 2nd time was very pleasant and informed me that he would escalate my exchange, beings it was received and was there almost a week already. He put the order in and it was received in 3 days. I'm very impressed. Excited to get my 2nd unit, I unpacked it and tested it immediately. Voltage output, check. 13+ volts.
Timer functions, check. It actually ticked, and counted down. Amp meter...ughhh.
Not functioning properly. Needle barely moved. Checking with my Fluke, it was putting out slightly less amperage than the unit was claimed to produce. Not arguing, since 2 out of the 3 worked this time. It's not worth the hassle of sending it back a 2nd time. Next time, I will buy a name brand charger.

Placed order and then was later asked to pay an extra $396.06 USD due a glitch with THEIR system.
Jegs would not honour the original purchase agreement and despite 3 different people responding to emails made zero attempt to help besides paying the extra amount.
I will be telling anyone in ear shot to use Summit or any other competitor instead.
They sent the wrong coils to begin with, then kept me on hold for over an hour to attempt to correct the mistake, they do not hesitate to take your money, they have plenty of staff for that, but to correct a mistake they made, it's impossible
I paid over $160 for a puller fan. It arrived with loose parts in the box. The motor cover was broken off and missing. This is a puller fan for a vehicle. The motor needs to be sealed from the weather. The then charge me over $13 to return it! I cannot trust JEGS with my money and there is too much competition in this market to keep my business. I'll never buy anything from JEGS again. They cannot be trusted.

I bought a fan controller 160$ and it worked fine… for about 2hrs then it started turning off and on I called the number on the directions they ran through a check with me the people that made it and advised me it was faulty and to contact company I purchased it from for a return or replacement I called them once they answered you call Jegs they'll never answer not once I hope this helps someone I got screwed bad customer service you can't do this to people Jegs I hope you read this and make it right Thanks
DO NOT WATSE YOUR TIME ORDERING ANYTHING! PLACED ORDER ON JULY 11, WAS JUST TOLD IT WOULD SHIP TO ME ON AUGUST 26! ASKED TO CANCEL ORDER AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE IF CANCELLATION IS APPROVED! They certainly didn't wait to take the money from my account! This part has put us behind for months and now we can't even get a refund! Awful place to do business with!

The 2nd time I called, I was helped very quickly, and the 2nd representative was way more professional and polite, compared to the man and woman I dealt with on the first call... please hold... please hold... please hold...
Answer: Good luck asking for an "expert" from JEGs. Also enjoy the "Help is right around the corner" message repeating itself while you wait on "hold". Almost like their phone system doesn't go anywhere when you ask for customer service.
