Ordered shoes on May 19th. Got the shoes but they were too small. Today is July 20th. I have received emails from three different people all asking for the same information I have already sent. I have requested a refund - no word on that yet. And I have contacted my credit card company to help in obtaining the refund. A "normal" company would be johnny-on-the-spot with an exchange but not these folks. They also have a habit of shuffling you from one "customer service" person to another so no one ever has the full story and you are left explaining the same thing over and over. This company is not worthy of your business, your time or your money. This has been my experience - still an on going battle. I am definitely NOT nor have I ever been ssociated with Jane Closet (If I were I'd probably slit my wrists). They sure wouldn't pay me to write this review!
I was excited when my white sneakers finally arrived... The shoes say orthothic support - I assumed arch support (my bad). Neither. When ordering, I measured my foot and selected according to their chart. However, the 7.5 I ordered where too small. (I wear a 7 and 7.5). I tried to exchange, but was repeatedly asked for photo of the shoe with measurement and photo of my foot with measurement in order to process the exchange. Just a heads up - and you know it would take even longer for the exchange that it did for the delivery. I will gift the shoes to a friend with smaller feet. Beware. Order up if you dare.
7/17/20 These reviews are very accurate unfortunately, I didn't read them until now. According to their policy you have 12 hours to cancel which I've never heard of and I requested cancellation before items were shipped but Rosie said because it was past 12 hours I had to wait to receive my package to return it and get a refund. After almost a month later I received the items refused the package and now Rosie has the nerve to say I didn't read the policy and should go read it. First she tells me I have to receive my items to return it and get a refund now say I need to read the policy. She is not help at all I wonder if that is her real name or fake name. It's a shame to have to deal with bad customer service she was not helpful at all. I will NEVER purchase from Janecloset again and will be telling all my 500+ family members not including my friends not to order from her either. These people want to screw you out of your money even after you returned/refused the merchandise!
Where are NO stars?
I bought a pair of shoes from them. Took FOREVER to get them! They are so big around the sides, you can stick all your fingers in there. Be careful of these Chinese sites they will take your money and hide out! It's a Facebook scam. Most items I have bought on Facebook are from China and impossible to send back the cheap plastic garbage they sell. RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN from them!
They do not respond to exchanges by saying site is under construction. You have 15 days and unable to get through.

If I could give a zero, I would. Believe these other reviews-they are accurate. Poor quality-no returns. Cannot contact seller. Same cheap plastic, ill-made shoes shipped in a bag. DO NOT BUY.
Please Beware of a rip-off Chinese company. Very poor customer service, as this company is actually in China not California as they portray themselves to be located. I finally received my shoes after 7 weeks and they smelled so toxic from whatever chemicals they used to make them that I had to put them back into the bag (yes, they shipped them in a bag) they came in and put them outside. They are unusable, not fit to wear. When I reached out to the company they told me they would not give me my money back, that there was nothing wrong with the shoes. This is a warning to the next person who is thinking of purchasing from Jane's Closet.
I placed an order on July 7,2020 and realized when I got the order confirmation that I had marked the wrong size. I immediately emailed customer service since the site said there was no one answering phones right now due to Covid 19 to ask them to please change the size on the order. I emailed them also on July 8 and 9 but got no response. I got an email on July 13 saying that my order had been shipped. Today (July 16), I received an email saying that my order had already shipped and could not be changed. WOW, just wow. Apparently they couldn't be bothered to read my emails from July 7,8, and 9 until July 16. Now I have to try to deal with a return which I have a feeling is probably not going to be worth the hassle. I am going to try disputing the charge on my debit card.
The website claims they were shipped to USPS nine days ago and there is NO record of them anywhere. Plan to call my credit card company and challenge the charge.
I had to wait for my shoes for over 2 months! They were the wrong size and they wouldn't even let me return them! I will never use them again! Be aware terrible terrible company!
I placed my order in June 2nd, I looked at them in Instagram and they looked cute. I wanted orthopedic shoes, since I broke my foot in January. I was very anxious to get the shoes, but it took one month and a half, it was no way to track the shipment, no body responded to my emails and phone calls. Finally in July 12th, the shoes arrived. Oh my Lord, the are not orthopedic, they quality is poor, the don't fit, I could buy better shoes for less price.
Now I want to return them, but there is no way that someone answer the phone or reply my emails.
Lesson learned, I need to check the reviews first. This company sucks.
I ordered 4 pair of orthotic sandals. First let's just say that they lied about being located in New York City. They are actually in China. The shoes look like they were hand sewn and very poor quality. It took over 6 weeks for me to receive them and there was not a number for me to call about a return. There was no return address nor a billing slip in the package. Please never order from these people.
I received the order, I requested but decided not to keep them. I followed the guidelines listed on the website for returns. I sent the photos and requested return information. They never returned my messages with the necessary address. They were using delay tactics for me to pass my expiration date. They are advertised as orthopedic sandals, but quite flimsy. They also advertise items can be returned for any reason.
This bra came and it was so disappointing! The floating pads on the inside of the bra were not right. One was folded in half and hard to unfold and sit right the other was upside down I finally figured out. The cross straps were my boobs hung over and looked so wrong! I am a bigger women and this bra was not for me! If you do not have perky boobs this bra is not for you! Worst bra I have ever tried on!
After 1 month of waiting, the shoes are impossible to wear. Not only the new items have scratches, and poor quality, in addition, the buckles are not closing and asymmetrical!. Shame for making poorest quality items, false advertising and selling them. Good luck with return! Nobody even is responding!. Awful quality, damaged items, multiple misalignment, impossible yo close! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
Hi everyone! Don't give up on Jane Closet. I ordered my sneakers on June 5th 2020, it is now July 10. As of Thursday July 9 I was really getting anxious WHERE'S MY SNEAKS? ON JUNE 3 I sent e-mail asking where are my Sneakers? Well guess what came today? Yes and I love them, the color, size, fit, and comfy! Thanks Jane!
My 72 year old Mother ordered a pair of walking shoes Jane Closet listed as "orthopedic". They arrived and were made of cardboard and plastic. She can't stand in them, let alone walk in them. Don't waste your hard earned money on items so Cleary made in a sweatshop of degraded materials by people who are nothing more than swindlers.
Update 7-9-20: Shoes arrived yesterday. They're definitely not worth the original or sale price. Didn't even come in a box and they were scuffed. Haven't decided if I'm going to go through the hassle of returning or just going to wear them around the house. Either way, it was a waste of money.
My shipment is showing that it is now in LA. That's progress. I will continue to update until my order is received. Too bad I still haven't received any responses from their customer service team.
Tracking on the Shop app shows that the order is moving still. So that gives me some hope. I would've felt better if I had gotten some responses to my emails though.
Ordered shoes - 5/22. It is now 6/5, still no shoes. Product is shipped from China, which you don't know until you receive a tracking number from Yun Express. The tracking number came on 5/25 but it's still not showing any movement. Email sent for a refund on 6/3. No response. I will post updates if I get any. If you don't see an update, it means I never got my shoes and they are a fake company.
Update as of 6/22 - if anything was actually shipped, it's now showing In Transit. I will continue to update.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for a response so I can return my items ordered. No return emails, no one answers when called, horrible to deal with. I need to return my order due to damage and product quality. So its looks like I am stuck with these products. Do not order from them!
Answer: Their items look great online but they must come from another country for it to take over a month to receive yet their shipping company is in California. They are like an export and import company. It's less of a headache if you don't purchase from them!
Answer: This is a scam company. Because you do not get product after 6 weeks and product is horribly cheap. I will not even pay $5 for this shoes and they are selling for $50
