I honestly have no idea how this company is this highly rated- short of buying reviews.
Been with this company for a number of years and they are absolute garbage.
Problems with their system every other month seems like and more than 3 of them were catastrophic failures preventing me from even starting my car or making it to the dealership to have it serviced.
Oh yeah, and it will definitely not start in -40F so be sure to keep your survival kit in this car so you dont freeze to death.
Add to that either incomplete or inaccurate (sometimes totally false) information, youd better be prepared for lockouts and extensions on your state's program in order to get your license back.
Most recently I received 180 day extension to my requirement because of something that's been malfunctioning for the past 6 months.
Oh, and you'll talk to 3 different people and receive 3 different responses.
Do your homework and you'll find others just as good and for a little less. I promise you.
***STAY AWAY*** Customer service is terrible. I strongly regret selecting this company and feel stuck because of the court order. If I had known, I would have never done business with these people. For almost a year, right after device was placed in car, my car battery began to die up to 4 times a day. I called numerous times to report to call center and to service center. Advise provided did not correct issue. Finally 11 months later after dealing with this daily nightmare, I was given correct diagnosis by a different service provider but am now being charged for a "lock out" fee by Intoxalock. I called to ask why I had an additional $100 charge on my monthly bill and was told my car went into lock out when car toys was looking at it, but that it was still my fault and responsibility, despite my numerous requests for help in trying to resolve before that happened and despite the fact that it happened while car toys was working on it. I could not possibly be more disappointed in a company, the product, or the service provided. And the company itself seems to not care because they know their equipment is court ordered so the consumer is forced to continue to have device in car. Do yourself a favor and choose someone else. I wish anyone who took the time to read this the best of luck with another company.

There's a bunch of different companies besides INTOXALOCK.
I've been with INTOXALOCK for almost 3 years and have had NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS.
Customer service is more than unhelpful, there is an unbearable wait time every time you call for assistance. To finally speak with someone who never knows anything. Even the mangers that are supposed to help you never get back with you.
They charge you for any mishaps that happen when their breathalyzer is hooked up in you car.
You can't get information one you intial first starts a month. There's no way to count them and they change your start and end dates periodically throughout your term with them.
This company has no morel's or ethics their out to get your money and get you to be on the program as long as they can.

I've never been dirty and have been sober for 3 years. All because they don't intial starts and not knowing how many I have a month.

Worst company I ever came across. Shopping around do not use them they will con you out off your money. Horrible customer service all the care about is charging people for fees that they make up has they go. Don't use them the worst company I ever work with...
I've been using this company for one month and had to pay hundreds of dollars for bs lockouts. Customer service cant or wont help good luck trying to speak with a manager left them voice mails and never reached back out to me. If you use this company plan on being late everywhere you go and getting fired from your job and paying a ton of money for nothing.
Horrible, Horrible and more Horrible. Calling them and waiting 30 - 45 minutes for someone to answer your call is Unacceptable. Live Chat is worse. They work from home (I say no more) and tonight I waited 37 minutes for a CSR to start our chat. No one did and I excited the session.
From the incorrect install, to wait on phone over 30 minutes per call, to charges even when not authorized and yet still not vehicle to drive - going on 2 months
Worst customer service ever. This device will freeze on you in cold weather and if you call in for help. They tell you to warm a towel to warm it up which, does not work! Then they will nickel and dime out of you each month! I was quoted $50 dollars a month and it is really over $100. Do not go with these people they will lie to you! Worst customer service ever. Yea if you call in for help just be prepared you will be on hold for over a hour each time.

Worst machine ever! Worst customer service!
They are great UNTIL you sign a lease.
I've counted, 26 times n 20 minutes sitting in my driveway b4 it would accept a sample. RIDICULOUS right? Literally HALF of my drive time going anywhere is blowing into this machine as it wont take a sample. Trying to get help is just as frustrating. They are VERY condescending. Im soo done at this point, im having it taken out and going to a diff company that uses a very simple machine. I have to have machine for 12 mos, im going to lose the 2 months I've already had it by switching but I'd rather have to have it 2 extra mos rather than deal w this company 1 more day! Oh n rep jus kept tellin me id have to pay $250 in fees if i cancel cause i didn't call them to resolve it lol. WOW, I've been tryin to reach them for a month n half n have my own records.

Answer: Legit company but they have shady business practices. Very dishonest
Answer: Sale man was very pushy and I was very panicked about loosing my license. He kept calling me after I told him I would give him a call back. No one in this company wants to help you, avoid them.
Answer: As far and I am concerned any of the other 4 State approved interlock companies would have been a step up.
Answer: No. They suck. They're parasites. They're not even very good at that. They're really more battery police than making sure people don't drive drunk. They also forgot that the people with their device are the paying customers. If you are bad to those that pay your bills, they're going to stop paying you.
