Horrible bad equipment. Hidden fees. I was to get off on Feb 14 but because it too them 2 months to send in paperwork it turned to 14.10 hours before removal I get removed said I missed a test when I clearly blew in it green 2 min later without touching goes haywire red whywhy pull over blow again all good. I blew in that machine 15 times that day and 1 was bad come on bullbull. The machines have lots false post but they don't report them that way. I was told it was either a BTC test or missed. Shouldn't they know when I call it's always ya yVya. Either there illerate ir just ell u that so they can get u off phone. Then wack your bank account. They will screw up your machine to have u stuck on 6 months longer. Beware I'm warning you. You wish I listened if I do.
I got in my car blew in my device tried to start car battery was dead got out with my jump box started the car that put me in a lock out the place is a rip off I feel sorry for anyone who has this company poor business good luck
0 stars. Charged for exceptional fee's when deliberately unagreeded too. Only told reviewed for credit towards account. If I wasn't still on lease. Credit wouldn't reimburse. If it was my last term I wouldn't get money back. At least least Smart Star and Life Saver wouldn't have lost me so much money. Still fighting withe Intoxalock. Good luck on speaking to a human.
Picture below displays a biweekly payment after a $37.50 USD credit towards amount. (Would have owed more). Never agreed to protection plan, but charged. Was not informed of rental or charge of hand held cover (Hand Held Koozie) which was mailed and charged to me (would have declined if notified). And left stagnet with no longer able to use extension number to previous contacts to human beings. Stuck with automated messaging systems. I recommend a different company.

Haven't had device a month they installed incorrectly car almost caught fire! They wont pay 4 damages!
They have companies that lie to them about doing a job and never do it! This company sucks and I would advise all to find another place unless you want to be scammed out of your money with lies! They say that they can help with any problem but didn't get the problem they caused to begin with fixed. They are a big scam and not a good company to deal with.
Every time I call, it takes from 15 minutes to 30 minutes to get an individual on the phone. Then I have to explain my issue 5 or 6 times. Three of the representatives were very nasty and rude, one even told me to remove the device myself to have my vehicle worked on. Worst part is there are NO SUPERVISORS to speak to and no complaint area...
Highly recommend if you find yourself in need of an IID do not use Intoxalock! Poor customer service unfair treatment and unfair fines! If you do have an issue to discuss it is highly likely they will just simply hang up on you instead of listening. CALL ANOTHER COMPANY! Trust me. They do not work well with you if you have vehicle maintenance or any trouble with your device or any mishap of any kind!
They charged me three times for refusals that went off after I shut the car off and clicked on it to shut it off immediately. You have no recourse, it is complete extortion. Give us money or lose your license and probably get tired and good luck getting it out of impound. They are one of the worst companies. They have a rating or 1.12 1 us as low as you can be.
This company sucks…I have been impacted greatly by Covid as I am in sales and don't make the same money. I'm a single mother and doing things on my own…. I had trouble paying and needed relief…they have no sympathy. I've met two ladies that were able to help verses all the times I've called about lockouts and other questions I needed answered. The customer service sucks so bad…the device goes off while your driving which is a safety hazard. If you can avoid getting this don't get it.
Had to pay for a tow due to the machine not working, wasn't my fault they said they would refund the tow bill towards the bill and giving me a run a round to own up to their word. I have done everything they said and asked for including the tow receipt and they still are refusing to refund. Also making a complaint to BBB.
So today was my calibration day. Came to my normal Auto repair center. They put the handheld on the machine to be recalibrated and the machine died in the middle of the calibration. It came up with an error stating return unit to intoxalock immediately. So this has now left me stranded at the auto repair shop. Cannot start my car of course. This same issue happened to another one of their customers yesterday. Of course they could not give me a replacement handheld because they have no more left. And they were supposed to be overnighted a couple from lovely intoxalock the day before which they haven't received yet. Luckily the owner's wife of the shop is a sweetheart and found another handheld at another shop in the next town over. She took time out of her afternoon today to drive over there with my handheld to pick up the new handheld. Otherwise I would have been stuck paying for a tow to the other shop. I have 5 months left on this torture nightmare. This is totally getting out of hand. Really... What in gods name is happening?

I had the device installed over 2 years ago. The eligibility was 12/24/21 which I went to the registry for the hearing 1/6/22. The officer had cleared me & passed the paperwork forward for the removal. I had looked for a removal date & was told it has been extended 6 months. I asked why & was told because of the infractions on a report. I asked what report & was told it's a page worth. I have asked 6 times & they still have not provided it. The device was faulty which the servicing people had informed Intoxalock of. The unit had a bad relay & the part had to be sent from Intoxalock by next day air. The delivery was not done & I was without my car for 5 days. The device had be recalibrated, then had another issue so it needed to be recalibrated again. The unit has been recalibrated 3 times during the month of March & needs to be recalibrated again on March 31. I have asked to talk to a supervisor/ manager about the out of pocket expenses & loss of income but Sean (wouldn't give has last name or employee ID number) was extremely rude & also said that he would check on something & could he put me on a short wait time. I said that was fine but after being left on hold for 20 minutes I gave up. Intoxalock needs to either provide proof of this "so called" report or remove it as they've been instructed to do by the court & the registry. I give them a negative 5 because they are rude & not helpful at all.
I got the service for a month, got it removed. Lady I spoke to for way to long (and multiple calls) set it up. Everything was good but my auto payments kept getting charged for the roadside assistance. So I called multiple times to get it stopped, (on their website, if you put in a payment you can't remove it, wtf?!) so I told them I will go to my bank and have it stopped for fraud and refunded. Had it stopped & refunded, now I'm getting letters in the mail saying I was arrested and need their service again, getting calls saying I'll go to collections when my balance is $0. So they charged me $30-40 for each roadside assistance they charged me and labeled it as "chargeback fee". This company, service is a scam, fraud and should be and will be sued. DO NOT USE THEM.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Absolutely the worst experience from my DUI was having to deal with this company. The literally provide no customer service. You cannot get a hold of anybody. The location I signed up with closed down and I had to drive to a different city, and that location was also CLOSED! I had to take another morning off work and drive to ANOTHER city, meanwhile absolutely no one is answering my calls! DO NOT USE THEM!

NEVER have I EVER gotten such poor customer service. I call. I press #1 for English and yet I'm routed to someone in India who struggles with the English language. I'm due, according to TN DMV/Homeland Security, to have this device removed on 4/19. What I hear from Intoxalock is: "Removable is at OUR discretion!" Excuse me? Intoxalock does NOT decide when I'm done meeting my states requirements. I've been placed on "lock out" several times due to Intoxalock inferior service of which they hope to receive an additional $50 for their failures. I fought it and won. Why? Because they know they're scamming customers. My FIRST advice is DON'T drink and drive. My SECOND advice is go with ANYONE except Intoxalock!
I have had Intoxalock for about five days. I have been to the service center 4 times so far for problems. Have had to lock outs due to battery issues. Took to my service center and they tell me battery and alternator are fine. They replaced hand held and still having same issues. It makes me blow about ten times in a 30 min drive. Horn starts randomly going off for no reason. This is a horrible system. I am at the service center right now to hopefully get this resolved.
Not one single person there can help you, they can just send an email to someone else and you might get a response in 24-48 hours. Been waiting on them to send a Certificate of installation to the dmv for 5 days now to get my interlock permit. They emailed the certificate to me this morning, does me no good, the state needs it. Try calling, no one I talk to understands what the state actually wants or how to get it there. All they can tell me is that they emailed someone else and I should hear back in 24-48 hours. Ask to talk to someone who can help me with this, "no they don't talk on the phones, I just email them". An absolute joke of a company. About to pay the $200 fee to get this taken off and go somewhere else.
System goes off every couple months and will violate you which makes you bring it to a service center and charge an extra $75.00 for non alcohol related. Credit's not given despite having to blow in the device within 1 minute. Service Centers near by "temporarily closed" with no notice, making you drive 20-75 miles out of the way. Customer service reps will not assist in scheduling you for an appointment. Recommendation pay a couple dollars more for those that can assist your needs better.
With this device no mechanic shop will work on your car because Intoxalock does not disable the device for auto shop. Their solution is to have it towed to a service center PAY to have it uninstalled at one of their service centers tow it back to the auto repair shop then pay again to have it re installed! Customer service is a joke and not helpful at all. My device was faulty and had a wire shortage and I had to pay 405$ out of pocket to have it fixed took them 4 days to send out a new device. I would choose another company.

They also forgot that the people with their device are the paying customers. If you are bad to those that pay your bills, they're going to stop paying you.
