My name is Jenny and I am 19 years old. I am a single mother and I work 2 jobs whilst also trying to apply got college. In February of this year (2023) I payed for a 1 time payment to search a vin for a car I was looking to buy. Fast forward to now, I have monthly payments of 25$ since February and when I called they only were willing to refund me up to 3 months. It really hurts knowing that just because I failed to cancel a subscription, I now will miss out on hard earned money. I explained to them my situation with tears about how frustrating this was, I assured them that I understand that they were simply relaying a message and that I know it's not their fault. The man called me out for being unprofessional. I'm sorry? It's hard to remain robotically professional when I am told I won't be able to get my money back even though I have not accessed or used my account since the first purchase I made. I also had this situation with other info tracing websites and they were all able to give me a complete refund even after 3 months. Man on the phone said I should be grateful that I will even get this amount back because other services may not be as generous. We'll actually other services are more generous! So that's a lie. Not trying to be a Karen but why is this corporation so petty and selfish? I want my money back because I never even used the products I was "purchasing".
