SCAM BEWARE! Lots of good articles and referrals through PC-related blogs. Request for services from July 2020, paid. They couldn't complete the services (THE BAIT), because the lock was on the cloud and not on the phone, so credit offered, in lieu of purchase price for the same service for other devices, or the difference for a level up services to unlock the phone. Different paid. Since November 2020, a maximum of 3 months was guaranteed. But to date, April 2021, nothing has come of it. Email follow up, a couple of times (and nobody to call - obviously). Your device was issued to our iCloud supplier on the 10th Nov as per your order status page and is currently in process, once it has been unlocked you will be emailed as well as the order status page being updated.

We realise these are taking a long time, unfortunately its the nature of these unlocks. Some of these units have been taking 90 days. We have been advised that as a goodwill gesture there is an option to give you credit note for the total amount you have paid for you to spend on a sim unlock for a different device if you don't want to wait that long?"

I ordered for a sim unlock since 03/03/2021. It's been paid for and till now it's still locked. I also sent mails but got no reply

Terrible. They give you a price which you believe to be the total fee (£24) but then bill you for a release fee for the code (£34) and do not clearly highlight these costs anywhere.

I paid for the service and an up charge for expedited service. After almost a week I revived an email saying the iPhone was reported stolen/lost. I sent them proof of paid receipt that it was not and then I get an email that their "Premium" service was available and since I already paid for their previous version, I only had to double my payment to get it unlocked. NOW THEY WILL NOT RESPOND TO MY EMAILS ABOUT MY PROOF IT IS NOT STOLEN! SCAM!

Have place my order to unlock my moto g7 power which was lock to Tmobile from September 21, at this present time March 2 the progress bar still at 99%, i have send numerous email regarding my situation only to receive electronic reply.

Same story as many other negative reviews. They operate with a hidden 42$ additional fee, you will find out about AFTER paying a non-refundable $28.

After a complaint the additional fee is reduced to $32, and after another complaint they offer a solution where you can buy other services from them for the money you already have paid.

imeidoctor.com is a fraudulent site, do not use their services and report the site to reportfraud.ftc.gov and to your local bank.

Got an old mini iPad Gen1 from my last that they are no longer using and we're going to throw out, and the person that set the iPad up is no longer employed there. Actually he got fired fir stealing... Gave the IMEI doctor a shot to unlock it and gave them the first payment and had to wait 3 days. Finally got an email from them stating:

"We attempted to remove your iCloud locked device from the previous owner's account but were unable to do so as the iCloud Account associated with the (F7NN********) is unfortunately marked by Apple as Lost/Stolen. This does NOT necessarily mean that the has been reported lost to the carrier - this is something totally different. It means the device/iCloud account has been reported using FindMyiPhone.

As stated on the website before purchase it is not possible to remove the Activation Lock on iDevices which are in Apple's iCloud lost/stolen database using our Clean service. There may be a premium service which can unlock this device in future - if there is you will be informed as soon as it is available via email."

Got another email that said:
"We are pleased to announce that iCloud Premium service is finally available. This removes the iCloud account for all devices, including barred ones.

Due to the popularity of the service timeframe is expected to take 30 days.

The price of this service is £99.99 but as a previous Clean iCloud purchaser your previous vouchers have been discounted for you leaving £49.99 to pay.

This is a scam if I ever seen one, and I am disappointed in myself that I fell for it. I threw the damn iPad away in disgust, and know now do not ever purchase or receive an apple product that is locked. Get it unlocked beefier purchasing.

I got to this website from a recommendation on Wipelock.com. They asked for payment and then said that it was only the initial payment, and they need the rest of the payment before doing the unlock. The first day that I tracked the unlock they gave me an estimate of 5 days, but after that the tracking just says they are offline. They never responded to my email despite the claim on their website that they "respond to every email".

I paid for an Apple ID unlock and they tried to charge me again after I paid. Scammers and liars
They took my money and then told me that I had to pay a further $42 US dollars to unlock my phone.
I already knew that I could do it myself if I had the previous owners details or receipt, otherwise I wouldn't have paid. After arguing that I had already laid, they simply stopped replying to my emails and my money is gone.
Don't do it. These services are just a way to money grab from you and do not even have the decency to respond if questioned.

Read this before unlock your phone and don't trust other good comments. They all are liying.
This IMEI doctor is totally lier or scammer. They don't unlock your phone with $28. After payment $28 they will say agin final payment with 42$ or discount with 32$. Actually they didn't say $28 is prepayment and for check payment. They say only after your payment. How cheating like this. The guys from this website and coordinating parties are like disable person who can't find money easily. Even disable person don't do like them. They like street dog can't find food so cheated on everyone. Even dog is better than them. They will use othe website name like DrSim unlock/ Appleiphoneunlock.uk. Appleunlock uk is same as them. So don't trust them. $28 is not too much money for me althoug it full for yours. So i will think as donation $28 for disable person. You guys are not useful as much as diable person.
If you don't refund my money and ypu will eat that. I will do writings you guys to be born as disabled or street dog after death and alive again. I'm from Asia and I can do it surely.

They have asked for 28$ to unlock my iPad with activation lock. I've paid them but then they asked for purchase receipt or owner's contact details to progress otherwise I have to pay 42$ to unlock my iPad. I've provided them with the contact details yet didn't get anything and sent them a mail they replied that they made me a discount and I need to pay another 32$ to unlock even though I provided the contact details.
I thought they are different from other sites, turns out all are same scam.

TOTAL SCAM. Beware!

First they said my iPhone SE is unlockable. Paid the first time. After two days they replied to me saying they are ready to unlock.

They asked for more money to finish the job. Paid the second time.

After two days they said they cannot unlock the phone and cannot return the money. Lost USD 80 in the process.

UPDATE JAN 15 2021:. IMEICHECK.CO COMPLETED THE ICLOUD REMOVAL IN 3 DAYS! MORE PROOF THAT THESE GUYS ARE LACKING CAPABILITIES!

I made two orders to IMEIDoctor and each time they couldn't unlock my phone but asked for more money for a "premium" unlock service to do it which was supposed to be "resuming" soon as they said the phone was reported lost/stolen according to an IMEI checking website they quoted which I believe is also a scam.

My advice is to save your money and put it towards a phone or motherboard from a reputable supplier. Alternatively take it to Apple if you have the original invoice when the phone was first sold or ask the seller to remove the phone from their iPhone account.

I ended up cancelling my credit card due to this outfit.
